Double Jade's fate

The emperor did not appear in front of the empress for a long time. She have peaceful times where she thinks and recall about the past. Those are the days when she suffer without her family. 

She is born in one of the prestige family in the country. Her father the prime minister Shi Hou Le is an elder man who served the previous emperor and now served the current emperor who is his son-in-law. All the other court ministers have to give him the due respect but of course there are others who doesn't like his policy and oppose what ever he said in court meeting. 

The empress, Shi Chun Feng grew up with her sister Shi Chun Gui. They spend their summer and autumn playing with the nobles and royalty in the royal gardens. At the age of seven, she accidentally fell into the pond. It was deep and she can't swim. Prince Xian Wen who was seven at that time, used a long stick he found to try to get her out. There was any one around. He used all his strength to get the stick pull onto the muddy ground. Later a eunuch who saw them, called for help. The empress at that time don't know who he is but she saw this shiny knight that came to her rescue when no one can hear her cries. After two weeks of searching her knights identity, she found out he is the second prince. She pray and hope to see him again. It did not happen till the age of nine. Together with other noble boys and girls including Su Shung Yu who is sitting on a wheelchair, they went into the royal garden, they were invited by the empress. They were introduced to the two princes. Xian Ning and Xian Wen. The two princes are intrigue with Shung Yu and her wheel chair. While the other boys play crickets the girls sit quietly and watch whatever is going on. Shung Yu is bomb with questions from the princes. She look nervous and her eyes meet Chun Feng. 

Chun Feng help her to escape their endless questions by saying they need to go to the lavatory. She attempts to push the wheelchair but it is too difficult for her. Xian Wen help by pushing it together. It started their journey as friends. 

Soon, she find herself always around with Shung Yu. That is the only way that Xian Wen would actually talk to her. He even fix her kite when it is not flying or when she trip while playing he is there to pick her up. She grows to like him more each day. However she dislike Shung Yu each day as he pays more attention to Shung Yu than to her. She try to push the crown prince to stay with Shung Yu more. However fate always play a part in putting them together while she with the crown prince. The time spend with the crown prince, she finds him cruel and sometimes sadistic. He doesn't hesitate to torture little animals that come his way. When she tells him off, he laugh and said he is the son of heavens there is no one that can control him except his father. So he tells her off and sweep his pants and walk off to find his next target. Strangely in front of his siblings and Shung Yu, he never display this side of him. He is rather alike to Xian Wen, polite, nice and considerate of others. 

Time past when they turned thirteen, the prime minister told her over dinner that she will be the bride for the crown prince. She remembered that horrible feeling that she had. She felt sick that she vomited all her dinner and was in bed for a few days. Her sister constantly taking care of her even though she is younger. She always have the compliments from their father. While Chun Feng never had any but still she is treated well as the eldest daughter. When she is well enough she goes down on her knees begging her father not to marry her off. He asked her for a valid reason. She hesitate to say. She had so many things to say about that crown prince more importantly she had decided that she loved the second prince. She told her father immediately she got a hard slap on her face. She is also thrown back in pain and anger. 

"You have no right to choice who you can marry! I am your father! It is my responsibility and i found you the best match in this country! Do you know how many girls are dreaming to marry him?! How many girls can sit beside him on the grand events?! How many girls dream of becoming the empress?! By marry to him, is your honour and our family honour! In future, how well your sister can marry depends on you!" 

She cry and beg but the ink have dry there is nothing he can do and she have to get on the wedding sedan when it arrives. 

Her nightmare starts on the wedding night. Even though they did not consume, he punish her for marry him. He made her knee in front of the wedding bed the whole night. In the morning before the maids come in, he get up from the bed and walk to her. He hold her hands and ask her to get up. After she get up with difficulty, he kiss her hands. His eyes keep staring at her face. 

"You are now my wife. You have to obey me. I will be the husband that you would be happy with. I will wait till you have reach the coming of age. We will consume the wedding and start a family." All the while she get frighten but she cannot show him that. She have to swallow all that emotion and smile to make him happy. She decided not to allow him to torture her in anyway. She have to be his playmate for a long time.
