Chapter 94 – Sarada Searching
Sarada walked inside the classroom, looking around, searching for Guren, "Sarada...looking for Guren?"
Boruto asked, noticing her standing at the door in a bad mood.
"Yeah," Sarada nodded, holding a picture in her hand, "Where is he?"
"I think he's training again," Mitsuki smiled, "He has been recently training like crazy."
"Well, I would too if I had a power like that and I hadn't mastered," Shikidai curled his lips.
"You heard?" Sarada raised her eyebrow, looking at him in surprise.
"Well, Boruto was boasting about it, saying how his eye would be better than Guren's," Shikidai held his head, "When I asked my Dad, he said there is a gag order on it."
"Kuh!" Boruto stepped back, "I didn't know it then, ok! Or I wouldn't have told you!"
"Yeah...I doubt that" Mitsuki smiled, not believing.
Sarada walked out, her shoulders slumping, making others notice her mood, "Is she ok?"
Boruto shrugged, "No idea. Maybe she's jealous that she didn't awaken her eyes?"
"Could be."
Training Grounds,
Sarada heard the sounds of kunai and bodies exchanging blows before even entering. She slowed down her steps, seeing Yuzu release arrows at Guren, who cartwheeled backward, dodging each and every one of them. He used the moment she stopped to start running forward toward Karin, avoiding the tip of the sword that was meant to pierce his eyes. He curled his fingers, slamming the palm in her stomach, shoving her back, flying through the ground.
But Karin used the force to turn in the air, shoving her sword in the ground, coming to a stop, "You have grown stronger."
"You too, Karin, but it's still not enough," Guren jumped back, throwing a shuriken towards the arrows that Yuzu fired, "Shuriken Shadow Clone!"
The shurikens hit against the arrows when Yuru used the blut to block the shurikens that slipped past.
She removed the blut, collecting the strength of tens of arrows into one, firing it at Guren. But Guren held Karin's hand while fighting her, pulling her in front of the arrow.
"Karin!"
"You jerk!" Karin used Shunpo to get out of the way, but she wasn't used to it in the human body. She could barely avoid it in time, feeling her arm getting cut.
"Damn it," Karin held her shoulder, "What would you do if you leave behind a scar!"
Guren chuckled, "I think a scar or two would be sexy. Quite hot, really."
Karin's face became flushed red, "You are such a!!! Asshole!!! Don't say things like that!!"
Karin lost all her form, slashing harder and harder, trying to hit him.
Guren laughed, not noticing that Yuzu wondered if she should get a scar or two.
Sarada, looking at this, thought for a moment, looked at the picture of her father with a few people. She turned around, leaving.
Guren came to a stop, looking towards the tree where Sarada was a few moments ago, "Hmm."
"Be careful!"
Guren held the blade of Karin's katana between two fingers, "Please, you are a million years too early to lay a hit on me, literally."
Karin bit her teeth, "You! I will beat you if it's the last thing I do!"
"Heh," Guren stopped, sitting down on the ground, "So damn tired..."
Yuzu walked over, "You are overdoing it...wait..."
She rushed over, bringing a lunchbox and flask, sitting down beside him, "Here, have some and restore your energy."
"Thank you, Yuzu," Guren patted her head, gently smiling.
"Ehehe," Yuzu giggled, sitting down beside him, hugging his arm, "Should I feed you?"
"Will you?"
"Yup," Yuzu sweetly smiled, holding the chopstick opening the lunchbox. But when Guren opened his mouth, Karin dived in, stealing the bite, "Hmph."
Guren pulled her cheek, "You cheeky brat, that's mine."
Karin sat down between his legs, leaning back on his body, "Now it's mine, slowpoke."
A Few Hours Later, Near Konoha's Gate,
"Boruto, trust me, no matter what, I will deliver this lunchbox to Lord Seventh!"
Boruto backed away, "You are acting so strange today; it's just a lunchbox."
"It's not just a lunchbox! It's more than that...it's about the feeling of the person who pours their love into making it," Sarada clenched her first with an earnest look in her eyes.
Boruto scratched his cheek, "Fine, fine, here, take it."
"Thank you," Sarada let out a breath of relief, "Let's go, Chocho."
"This is my search for my father. Why are you more excited than me," Chocho tilted her head, following after Sarada, who started walking towards the Gate.
She panicked a little, hearing Chocho, "Oh! Uh! It's nothing!"
"Really? Nothing?" Sarada froze, hearing the whisper in her ear, the air making her tremble from top to bottom.
She turned around to see Guren standing behind her, smiling, shouting, "Guren! Why are you here!"
Guren patted her head, "Because I am always watching you, my silly little sister. Even when you are strangely lurking in under the shadow of the tree."
Sarada blushed, "You noticed."
"Yeah, it's just that I had to get something from home. Otherwise, I would have been here sooner."
"Guren~~ Are you going to come with us too?!" Chocho squirmed, nearly dancing on her leg.
"Yeah, I am," Guren put his hand on Sarada's waist, walking forward, "Let's go, shall we?"
"Yes~! I will follow you anywhere, Guren~!" Chocho hopped behind him, chuckling.
"Ehehe," Sarada let out a hollow smile, sighing, holding Guren's hand, "Guren...the thing is...actually..."
Guren kissed her head, "I am going to find out anyway, so you don't need to tell me. I'll just follow."
"Mm," Sarada smiled, closing her eyes as she let him push her, even though she could walk on her own.
"So, why are you here, Chocho?"
"Well, the truth is that I don't believe that my father is actually my father! So I am going in search of my real father," Chocho puffed her chest out.
"Oh, your real father, huh," Guren glanced down at Sakura, who nearly jumped out of her skin, panicking, "That's wonderful. I hope you find your father. Tell me more about it?"
"Of course! You see, I was just a kid, and I had a fever; there was this firm hand that patted my head. I am so sure that he was my real father. So I am going to..."
