Devouring Demons in Demon Slayer

Shinji immediately unsheathed his Nichirin Blade, attempting to break free from the cocoon, but found it impossible to cut through.

The attackers were the {female demons} who had barely survived their encounter with Lower Rank Five.

They were desperately trying to complete the task assigned to them, knowing failure meant certain death.

After easily encasing Shinichi in silk cocoons, the {female demon} approached, observing the still-pulsating cocoons with a triumphant air.

"My cocoons are soft yet incredibly strong. Once inside, a dissolving fluid is released, melting away clothing and then your bodies, leaving only nourishment for me!"

"Wow," she muttered to herself, admiring her handiwork, "amazing!

I can shoot silk from my hands. But why not just eat the bodies directly? Perhaps I have bad teeth?"

As the {female demon} was lost in self-congratulatory musings, Shinobu Kocho appeared silently behind her, incredibly close, her next words whispered directly into the demon's ear.

Shinobu's sudden presence caused the {female demon}'s expression to freeze, her eyes widening in shock, her body stiffening in terror.

"Good evening! The moonlight is quite beautiful tonight," Shinobu greeted, her tone pleasant and unthreatening.

Overcome with fear, the {female demon} managed to regain control of her paralyzed body.

She leaped forward, creating distance between herself and Shinobu, then spun around, launching a barrage of silk cocoons.

A hail of cocoons rained down on Shinobu's position. Shinobu, with incredible agility, effortlessly dodged the attack while simultaneously closing the distance between herself and the demon.

Shinobu moved with the grace of a butterfly, her sleeves fluttering like wings in the breeze.

Using her superior agility, Shinobu landed on the {female demon}'s stomach, unleashing a series of rapid kicks to her abdomen.

She then knocked the demon to the ground and sat down heavily on top of her.

If Shinobu had done this to a man, the impact would have been considerable.

"It seems you're not interested in a friendly conversation," Shinobu remarked, a smile playing on her lips.

Seeing herself easily overpowered, the {female demon}, understanding the formidable strength of her opponent, resorted to her usual tactic of pleading for mercy.

"Please, wait! Spare my life! I was forced to do this. Disobeying will result in my death!" the {female demon} begged, her voice laced with terror, fear, and desperation.

"Oh, really? How unfortunate! Let me help you! Then we can be friends!" Shinobu responded with a continued smile, offering assistance and suggesting a possible friendship.

"Y-you'll really help me? I'm a {demon}!" the {female demon} stammered, unable to comprehend the demon slayer's offer.
