The Kanoe-rank Slayer, thinking Tanjiro wanted to steal the kills, spoke dismissively.

He charged towards Lower Rank Five. Tanjiro immediately shouted, "Dangerous! Stop!"

But his warning was ignored.

In the next instant, Lower Rank Five, with a flick of his wrist, launched a spiderweb at the Kanoe-rank Slayer. The web sliced through the Slayer's body, dismembering his upper half.

The gruesome sight stunned Tanjiro, leaving him horrified.

Tanjiro recalled his fight with Kyogai, understanding why Kyogai had been stripped of his Kizuki rank.

After dispatching the Kanoe-rank Slayer, Lower Rank Five coldly asked Tanjiro, "What did you say? Answer me!"

Tanjiro felt the oppressive presence of Lower Rank Five intensify. He began to doubt himself; could he defeat a true Kizuki member like he had Kyogai?

"Inosuke, please be alright!" Tanjiro worried about Inosuke.

Given the situation, he knew he couldn't return immediately.

"Didn't you hear me? Answer me! Repeat what you said!" Lower Rank Five demanded.

"Fine! I'll say it as many times as you like! Your bond is fake! You don't act like a family should!" Tanjiro took a deep breath and continued.

As he finished speaking, Lower Rank Five's silk threads shot towards Tanjiro. He dodged with incredible speed, but still suffered cuts to his face and forehead.

Faced with Lower Rank Five's relentless attacks, Tanjiro could only dodge, but his speed was insufficient, resulting in more cuts.

Finally, the barrage of attacks disrupted Tanjiro's breathing, forcing him to pant and regain his composure.

Lower Rank Five suddenly ceased his attack, looking at the battered Tanjiro.

"Let me make this clear, I won't kill you quickly. I'll tear you apart piece by piece!"

"However, if you retract your previous words, I'll give you a swift death."

"I won't take back my words, because I'm right, and you're wrong!"

Tanjiro's unwavering nature wouldn't allow him to compromise his beliefs.

As Tanjiro's angry shout echoed, a wind stirred around them.
