Observing the fissure slowly closing, Aoki raised his Nichirin Sword and mercilessly struck the junction between the engine and the first car.

Aoki swiftly leaped back, landing perfectly on the ground as the train's momentum was absorbed by its own thrashing.

Tanjiro and the others jumped from the train, all unharmed.

On the ground, a fleshy mass with two eyes spoke. "Body disintegration… unable to regenerate… I lost? Will I die? Impossible… impossible!"

It was Enmu's head. The fleshy substance began to disintegrate into dust, and the train's thrashing ceased.

"I haven't reached my full power… I didn't devour a single person… My plan to merge with the train and consume countless humans failed… and I ended up like this…

I wasted so much effort and time," Enmu lamented, his body dissolving.

He then thought of Aoki and Rengoku Kyōjurō. "It's their fault! They… one had terrifying observational skills, instantly finding my body and its location. The other single-handedly protected half the train."

"That's the power of a Hashira… truly terrifying."

"And those three brats… They weren't as strong, but still a nuisance."

With a final, desperate roar, Enmu completely vanished into dust.

After Enmu's complete annihilation, Aoki received his reward: a 300-point boost, reaching A+ Rank, equal to the other Hashira.

"Tanjiro, you did well," Aoki said, noting Tanjiro's state. He'd clearly risked his life to protect the passengers.
