Demon Lord: Erotic Adventure in Another World

Chapter 592: The Chamber of Eros

The morning light spilt across the fortress walls, washing Baltimore in a pale gold that made the city look almost peaceful.

Asmodeus stood on the highest balcony of the central keep, one hand resting on the cold stone railing, the other wrapped loosely around a steaming cup of dark tea. Below, the streets were more alive than before.

Merchants started to sell cheap goods, lowering prices after Asmodeus paid them in advance to allow the poorer families to keep eating and drinking.

Blacksmiths hammered at their forges in the last minutes, weapons and shields for the troops on the wall. Children dared to dart between the carts while laughing. It truly felt like a real city, not the ghost town from a few days ago.

But the air told a different story.

It was heavier. Tighter. Asmodeus could help but close his eyes. His instincts, sharpened by blood and battle, whispered the same thing they always did before a storm: They're coming.

Boots scuffed the stone behind him. Renya appeared, helm tucked under her arm, her tone clipped. "My Lord. Scouts from the eastern watchtower returned at dawn."

He turned, noting the faint twitch in her jaw. "Report."

"Small craft spotted just beyond the wardline. Not fishing boats. Imperial design stripped for speed. They stayed just long enough to test our detection wards, then vanished into the mist."

Vinea emerged from the shadows of the doorway, black lace fluttering in the breeze. "And not alone. My own flyers saw shapes moving above the sea. Sky barges. Likely scouting the upper reaches of the barrier."

"Mm." Asmodeus set his cup down, gaze sweeping the horizon. "So they're already measuring our walls."

"Not just the walls," Vinea said quietly. "Us."

The air tasted of the sea, a salty but calming flavour as the sun shimmered faintly. Yumiko appeared at his side, her tail curled around her waist, as Serena stepped onto the balcony behind her and stroked her stomach.

"Darling, is something wrong?"

He raised a brow. "Nothing, the enemy is just a little faster than we thought. Serena, how are you?"

"Fufu, I am fine darling... but you look a little tired."

"She's right, Honey," Yumiko added.

Asmodeus waved his hand at them with a wry smile, "Of course." Then, he turned to Renya and motioned for him to come closer.

Renya shifted. "Orders, my Lord?"

Asmodeus exhaled slowly. "Keep all flyers grounded until further notice. If they want to measure our strength, they'll see nothing but walls."

His gaze cut toward the sea again.

Even at this distance, he swore he could feel the Grand Duke's presence as an oppressive, violet heat pressing against the back of his skull like a migraine that just won't pass. Yet as if she could sense this... Yumiko's warm hand stroked him gently.

"Don't worry."

"Call everyone to the council chamber tonight. Deployment will be finalised before sunset."

Renya saluted sharply. "At once."

When they were gone, he let his hand rest on the hilt at his hip, feeling the faint hum of the Divine Core through his palms.

He curled his lips, the power flowing within him.

"I'm ready to fight."

The circular war table was the same as before, black stone, etched with maps and old battle lines, but tonight, the air felt different. A quiet warmth that seeped into the bones.

"Welcome."

Instead of cold report or going over the boring reports and the scrape of armour, there was a thick scent of roasted meat, the soft clink of wine cups and the low murmur of voices.

Velvet had set her breastplate aside, leaning into her chair in a fitted shirt, her hand resting protectively on her stomach. Yumiko sat on the table's edge, kimono sleeves draped open just enough to tease, tails swishing through the air as her eyes followed Asmodeus.

Yuina sat close to her sister, drinking the strongest wine with a playful grin, in the same style of kimono, but in a different colour.

Levia was half-armoured, her silver hair damp from a recent bath, the holy pendant at her throat catching the candlelight. Vinea, black lace hugging her form, sipped from her cup in silence but never stopped watching him.

Sariel and Riel were beside each other, wings folded, leaning forward like two restless cats ready to pounce. Asmodea lounged with her chin in her palm, flame-like eyes glittering.

Even Lumina had descended lower into her webbing, pale cheeks faintly flushed as she listened and joined in the feast.

Asmodeus let his gaze sweep over them all, a sense of pride in these beautiful women, his lovers, his pillars... his soulmates.

"Two days," he said simply.

The moment he spoke, everyone froze, their eyes shifted to him as he smiled back.

Velvet's lips curved in a faint smile. "The air unit's ready. My wings will be over you the whole time, sweetheart."

"I'll be with her," Vinea added, voice low. "Anyone aiming for you will have to get through us first."

Levia lifted her chin. "The Paladins are prepared. And yes, I've reinforced my armour so please don't lecture me this time, Master."

Yumiko snickered. "The blessing ritual is set. The moment you step on that plaza, the whole city will be under your domain babe."

Sariel reached across the table, taking a chunk of meat, while Riel chose a plate of fish. They didn't speak, but just looking at their sparkling eyes was enough for Asmodeus.

"I see... you're all doing your best."

He almost laughed, but the sound stuck in his throat. They were all smiling. But he could feel the tension underneath and the fear they'd never admit.

"I'm proud of all of you," he said, voice quiet. "But I'm asking one thing! Not victory. Survival. Come back to me alive. No matter the cost."

Yumiko tilted her head. "And what about you, darling? Will you come back to us?"

He met her gaze. "I'll try."

It was the truth, and they knew it.

But their mouths all twisted into a sour pout.

For a long moment, their eyes met, and only the flicker of candles and the soft sound of breathing lingered. The room no longer felt like a Cold War council anymore. It felt like a home. Like a shared bed where they'd all curled together before sleep.

Velvet was the first to break the truce, rising to lean across the table, her wide hips knocking over a tankard as she kissed him. Just a brush of the lips, but it carried her affection and feelings. The others soon followed in their own display of affection: a hand on his cheek, a brush of fingers along his jaw, a whispered vow in his ear.

The door slammed open.

Renya strode in, helm under her arm, eyes hard. "My Lord! Scouts report the Grand Duke's fleet has broken formation. They'll be here in two days at the latest!"

The warmth in the room chilled instantly.

Asmodeus straightened, the softness in his eyes replaced by a predator's focus. "Then we stop eating and start working. Every hour counts."

His gaze swept them all again.

"Well, what do you all think of that?" He chuckled.

Then grabbed the nearest bottle of alcohol with one hand and Vinea's breasts with the other.

"Tonight, it seems we should have some fun together, or there won't be a chance." Vinea's soft moan seemed to be some sort of trigger that set the women off.

Sariel and Riel exchanged glances before flying to him, while Yumiko wrapped her tail around his foot, and Levia grabbed one of his arms as he sat in a large chair.

The moment he sat down, Velvet's fingers curled around Asmodeus's chin.

"Do you really understand what might happen when you seduce us all at once like this?"

"I do... I am not the same weak man I was before, Velvet." He took her palm and placed a tender kiss on the back. "I will give us the best night we've ever had!" His words oozed confidence while the others shared a smile, but did nothing to stop him.

He didn't mind it either way, so he pulled Levia closer, pressing his lips to the side of her neck in search of a sweet spot.

A wet smack sounded as she fell onto his lap, her eyes closed tight. The moment his teeth pressed into her soft flesh, her hands clawed at his chest armour, ripping the straps open with an excited cry.

"My lord, you're such a beast!" The dim light illuminated her pale skin as her armour clattered to the stone floor, and Asmodeus continued to lick and bite her skin until he filled her with marks and red streaks from the passion. "Haaa... your making my neck tingle—Ah!?"

"Don't ignore us!" Velvet pushed Levia aside, her hand pressing on his crotch while the others all started to undress, as if they planned this together. Yuina pulled a lever on the back wall, and a huge bed, with several soft couches, appeared.

"W-What?" Asmodeus didn't know such a room existed.
