DEATH SOVEREIGN IN THE GAME WORLD

Chapter 12: FUSION

Grey was staring at the message that popped up on his screen after creating his private space.

[You have created a private space]

[As the first creator of a private space, future improvements and upgrades require 20% less TP.]

[To create hunting grounds, TP is needed.]

[Types of monsters are determined by fused dungeon cores]

[To expand the space, dungen cores are needed]

Grey dispelled all the notifications with a thought, while marvelling at the various functions of dungeon cores.

Then a thought surfaced in his head. If I can create private hunting grounds and infinitely revive them, won't I have an endless amount of thrall soldiers, he thought.

But his dream was crushed by the system.

[After clearing the hunting ground, it takes 7 hours to respawn all monsters]

System, create a hunting ground, he said.

Where does the player want to place it? Grey looked around the island and finally chose the edge of the island at the back.

Soon, a glowing portal was erected there. It looked like the dungeon's portal; the only difference was that this one had a softer shimmer on it.

I might as well use this to refill my thralls, he thought.

Grey walked towards the portal while releasing Vulkrak from the death domain.

As he entered, the same feeling washed over his body, and then he was back to the familiar scene of Embermaw Cavern.

Grey ordered Vulkrak to attack on sight, while he stood calmly behind him.

Soon, the first wave of Lava crawlers appeared.

Vulkrak cast chainflame, and all of them were incinerated by the blazing fire.

[Gained 20 agl x5]

[Vulkrak has gained a new skill: Molten trail]

A system notification chimed.

So, the new skill has effects even when the monster is not killed by me, he thought.

Now that I remember, I have a sword also, he thought as he retrieved the sword from his inventory.

He called Vulkrak back and gave the sword to him.

Then he revived all the thralls and sent them back to his domain.

They continued forward, with Vulkrak killing them, and Grey reviving them.

Soon, they reached the boss's room.

The ashdrake sat majestically as ever in the centre of the room.

Hearing the door opening, it let out a loud roar and lunged at Vulkrak.

Seeing Vulkrak easily dodged, and slashed at its exposed neck, killing it easily.

That was fast, he thought while remembering how difficult it was on the first run. As expected, the level gap is too wide.

Then, as he was about to revive the boss, something he didn't expect happened there.

A blinding red light erupted from both the drake and Vulkrak.

Then, they began to float above the floor until they were at the same level.

With a strong force, their bodies collided, destroying half of the room easily.

[Your Thrall is evolving, and needs 50 heated carapace to continue.]

Seeing the required material, Grey felt relieved that he had it.

He dipped his hand into his inventory.

When he had brought enough, he was confused and had no choice but to ask the system how he was going to use it.

But without doing anything, they began to float towards them, and fused into the twirling fire.
