DEATH SOVEREIGN IN THE GAME WORLD

Chapter 11: LUCIEN THALOR

At the same time Grey entered the 10th floor, Lucien also entered in calm strides.

So, this is the 10th floor. How was it able to develop to this extent in just a few hours, he thought as he looked at the several complexes and buildings that piled up in the centre.

Soon, a white light illuminated his path, taking him to the red pillar that gave completion rewards.

[Player has marked the tenth floor as his respawn point.]

[Player has earned SSS-level trial reward]

[Player has earned (Weapon: Voidreaver: Can instantly switch between a sword{speed}, spear{ranged}, or a scythe{AoE}. Every 10 seconds of battle, the weapon phases through all matter for 3 seconds. Every strike leaves a mark that ignores defence and explodes after 5 seconds.) Earned 50,000 TP.]

Oh, so there was a reward on the tenth floor, as expected of a game-like system. It couldn't have just made us pass trials for nothing.

I should check around first, before leaving the tower.

Lucien walked around, his eyes scanning the various buildings that filled the space. Each one was built by the players, using TP.

Some were shaped like shops, others training halls, and even lounges were present.

As expected of humans, even in this apocalyptic world, they are still thinking of how to profit, he thought as he moved.

Lucien kept walking. This wasn't his goal

He turned toward the central district. As he stepped closer, the structures changed. Cleaner lines, smoother surfaces. These weren't made by players. They belonged to the tower itself

He crossed into a broad courtyard where a single pillar rose from the ground. Around it, six buildings were arranged in a circle, each glowing with a different hue. Above the central monument, silver text hovered

[Core Functions Unlocked]

To his left was a large, open dome filled with floating books and scrolls

[Skillbook Archive]

He walked closer. A panel flickered to life beside him.

[Flicker Step – 10,000 TP][Pulse Guard – 8,000 TP][Glass Veil Domain – 100,000 TP]

Every entry had a brief description and purchase option. The variety was wide, and the categories ranged from common to unique. He scanned a few but didn't stop

A few steps away, another building housed rows of suspended weapons, some rotating in display, others locked behind crystal panels

[Weapon and Gear Repository]

Each item came with stats, TP cost, and upgrade paths. A separate terminal offered blueprint creation for those with the patience and skill.

Lucien moved on

Ahead, a massive obsidian ring loomed. Energy swirled in its centre like a slow spiral. A panel beside it read

[Tower Exit Gate]

He gave it a passing glance. Not yet

On the far right was a modest stone shrine. No lights, no guards, no shimmer. Just a simple pedestal with a faint glow

[Guild centre]

Lucien stared at it for a long moment

He hadn't expected this. The 10th floor wasn't just a checkpoint. It was a foundation. A launchpad.
