Chapter 22: Nuclear weapon 2
When I told them I would be going home with a nuclear weapon, one of them replied to me and said, "Alright, let us see what a woman can do".
The bidding commenced, and I always waited for all four of them to name their price before mine.
Each time they were done with naming their price, I doubled the amount.
I kept doing that until they started wondering if I even had such money.
It got to the extent that one of the men's minds was troubled and baffled. He asked me to show the money to confirm if I really had it.
"Where would you get that huge amount of money from, woman? Are you joking?". He asked
I snapped my fingers and Helen opened the briefcase Ace was holding.
It was full of shinning fake diamond stones which they thought were real. They braced themselves for the bidding, and increased their price.
That man's thinking was what we wanted to achieve by doubling the amount they mentioned each time. The goal is to make them increase the price as high as possible.
Now, it's my turn to return the question. I asked them to show me the money too. Excellent, the money is on the ground, right here in the auction room with us.
I was the highest bidder at one point, and no one was willing to increase my bidding as it was worth billions of dollars. So, the nuclear weapon was allowed to be sold to me.
Vesta and the remaining three others were waiting for us to give them the go ahead for the planned attack.
The sentence, "Vesta, it's okay" means we already had the nuclear weapon, and they could make their way in.
The plan was, when Ace made the sentence through the communication system, Vesta and others would come to steal the nuclear weapon from us.
We planned to sell it to other bidders. Vesta and others made their way in. They had already gotten rid of the ones that were meant to secure the place except the supervisor who was inside.
Vesta pointed her gun at me, and forcefully collected the nuclear weapon from me.
Immediately she collected it, Helen and Ace joined her.
Helen came to me and said, "You said you would dash me to the security guy, now do it".
Then, they left with the nuclear weapon. That was all part of the plan. It was done so we could make it seem like I was betrayed and robbed.
Because we need to get the weapon out of there first.
After it was taken away, I faced the men in the auction room and accused them that they were the ones that set me up.
They started mocking me, "Was that the way you were going to put the world under your feet?" One asked.
I kept shouting at them, and they were mocking me in return. The shouting was to feel embarrassed before I could leave angrily so they wouldn't suspect me, and I had to leave on time before they detected the diamond was fake.
When I got very embarrassed by them, I left like I was mad. If it turns into a fight, the lowest of them would surely knock me off.
Nevertheless, I acted perfectly and none of them suspected a thing as I made my way out of the room.
I pretended to be coming back with reinforcements because we wanted them to be out of there on time. We were going to block them on their way, one by one, to try and fake selling the nuclear weapon to them.
Oscar's point of view.
The location of the auction room was an island. That means vehicles can't get there, and thankfully, none are allowed to have more than two guards on the island, which made it easier for us to accomplish our mission.
One of the four billionaires that came for the bidding was leaving with his guards on a boat.
A boat we had already taken away its fuel.
We followed him up on another boat, both Mince and me.
The boat lasted no more than fifty meters before it went off.
We caught up with him, and told the billionaire that we had nothing to do with nuclear weapons, and we only needed money.
We told him to give us the money, and we would hand over the nuclear weapon to him.
With no second thought, he threw the bag that was full of multi-million dollars to us. Mince checked, and confirmed the money was real, we asked him to wait for us so we could bring the nuclear weapon to him.
That was a lie. We were not going back there. He was too carried away with acquiring the nuclear weapon even though his guard warned him against his action.
We waited for the second one beside his car. We used the same trick, and got the money from him too.
We moved to our next target. We wanted to get all the money they brought, and we had only gotten two.
When we went to the next one, he refused to pay a high price for the nuclear weapon. He wanted to take advantage of the fact that we stole it.
He said he wouldn't pay more than twenty million dollars. I refused. I told him we would sell to another buyer instead. So we left him alone, even though he called us back.
Why should we respond to him calling us back? Vesta and Helen had already ambushed his guards, and collected the money from them. We were only distracting him with negotiations.
Our next and last target was the fat billionaire. With what Fada said, he was going to buy a nuclear weapon and implant it in his own house.
He was one of the many people that wanted to own a nuclear weapon in case anything went wrong on Earth.
He was the stubborn type he wanted to see, and had the nuclear weapon before he handed over the money to us.
"Relax, your muscles are up, we are not going to run away with your money," Ace said.
She moved close to him, and rubbed him on his shoulders. Just like Ace was a magician, he commanded his men to hand over the money to us.
Ace with her super-observing mind, she must have observed him, and went for his weakness.
We left with the words, "We are coming back".
We went there because we needed the money. We got the money and went home with the nuclear weapon. I don't know what Fada's reaction would be because we went home with a weapon that is capable of destroying.
