Roriath Oldas the Emperor's advisor stood in his way suddenly holding a sword with a stern look her said "I cannot trust you with his majesty."

Regasus looked around the chaos and scoffed "Are you serious? is this the right time to suspect me?"

The man stood his ground "Well, we do not know who is the one leading the siege, we cannot be sure that you are not the one and you're leading us into a trap."

"Well, throw your trust in the mud. I am the lord of Alcon the symbol of peace to all of Silverston empire, I cannot betray the emperor or my oath." The man didn't budge or move a single muscle.

Regasus swallowed back a curse as she now resorted to swearing "Lest, I be burned alive by dragon flames if I do, so get out of our way if your not going to find a way for us to get out of this chaos." Regasus snapped at the man.

His eyes ever sharp, cunning and poisonous he stepped out of their way.

He led them to a storage room in the kitchen, it was dark and stuffy as he searched through shelf's of spices.

Tir the first of the eighth prince grumble "God, this place stinks, I can't seem to understand how this is a means of escape Lord Regasus."

Fox the fifth prince laughed "Seriously he led us to a supply closet? at this point we should just wait for the army of the black knights to wipe us out."

Alivara, the concubine gave him a sinister look "If you have nothing better to say young prince do us a favor and speak less."

Tir's jaw ticked, the nerve of a mere concubine to indirectly shut him up. What luck that at this moment he cannot punish her he thought.

"But seriously, the advisor suspected him of being a traitor then we follow him only to realize his dumb enough to lead us to a closet for goodness sake." Lir the second of the fourth prince whined like a child.

Vastus nostrils flared "Enough!"

Regasus finally found the knob and the shelves of the closet parted revealing a huge weaponry.

That left them speechless "Will we be safe here until the southern army returns."

"When will they return?" Prince Ara the first prince questioned he had been so quiet regasus barely noticed the terrified looking prince among his noisy brothers.

Regasus shook his head there was no hope. Before information reached the south it would take three to four days and he wasn't sure they would last that long.

At the moment, if they didn't die by the swords of the black knights.

They'd die from starvation.
