He has gone insane." Augustus whispered, "An army of the dead? Did he really threaten you?"

Regasus nodded "That fat lazy old man, all he knows, is how to create problems. Creating excessive unnecessary workload for you is just pure ruthless."

They walked through the dimly lit hallway surrounded by guards in armor who all pretended to be dead rather than alive.

Lest they breathe they will be killed "If we don't do something soon the royal family will become a blood bath."

"I can already taste the blood, the head of the royal family is hanging on a very steep edge not to say his clever power hungry sons and concubines will probably end our nation before our outer border enemies do."

As they continued to make their way back to the ball room they were met by prince Ara Atlas Roveriasazar the first prince.

He bowed slightly and Regasus nodded "It is a pleasure to meet the one and only powerhouse of the nation."

Regasus feigned ignorance "I beg your pardon prince Ara."

Ara smirked "Come on everyone knows you are the roots of this kingdom, the foundation, the very ground of Silverston."

"It is an honor to receive such a compliment from his highness." Regasus said with caution as any slippery statements could get him in trouble.

The prince made small talk just like his father. Only unlike his father, he had other intentions. "As you know my father's reign might come to an end soon and support would be required in my court."

He was cajoling Regasus trying to win his loyalty. "My loyalty is to the throne, your highness, and your father is in the finest of health so if you do not mind please excuse me."

Just then a guard moved slightly, it would have been barely noticed if it had only been Regasus but he dared to move in the presence of a prince.

In one quick swing, Ara's guard swung his sword and slashed the offensive guard's head off his shoulder.

Regasus gave him a puzzled look "Well he could have been a traitor for all we know." Ara grinned then made his way back into the ballroom.

"Did he do that because you politely declined his offer.?" Augustus whispered.

As soon as he left Augustus was visible again "No,that one is just bloody ruthless."

Without a doubt Regasus spoke feeling on the edge "God help us if someone offends him, also Augustus I do adore you for your open mindedness many find it intriguing..."

"Thank you, your highness that is indeed a blessing to hear from you." Augustus beamed but saw the serious look in regasus eyes and cleared his throat.

" It might displease the royals" he said sternly placing his hand on augustus shoulder in a tight grip.

His eyes fell on the body of the guard they where now cleaning away like animal remains "They might find your loose tongue a bit disrespectful."

Augusta shifted uncomfortabIy "I understand your highness."

Regasus nodded "They must not find anything to use against us...I really don't want to lose your head today."
