Chapter 9: Advice

"Hey ethan" jacob called as he finally walked in with tons of shopping bags, lookes like they went shopping

"Hey" ethan waved as he walked over

"Sorry i missed your party" he apologized, jacob waved him off. He knew he didn't miss it just because he wanted to but he actually had a legit reason so he understood.

"Hey sis" Jacob greeted when Brianna walked in

"Hey you, who missed my party" brianna teased giving him a hug

"Well lucky you, we have another party,come on" jacob said one hand over his shoulder, Stephanie and tiana came to collect the bags and the group left their separate ways

"See the way she eyed your man" Stephanie whispered to Brianna, Brianna had to give her a quick smack, what if tiana heard that. She knew Stephanie didn't like her at all, all in the name of tiana was after her man, she didn't see it though but Stephanie was hellbent on it. Tiana never did anything for her to paint her in a bad image, the only thing that made her a little uncomfortable was that her and jacob used to have a bit of history but that was in the past and they were over it, she trusts her man

"What if she hears you" Brianna whispered eyeing tiana who was walking ahead and looked oblivious to their conversation

"Probably scheming something" Stephanie huffed, Brianna just shook her head ending the conversation, Stephanie was trouble but she was glad she had a friend looking out for her.

"Who missed me" Brianna asked as soon as she walked in, chloe and jian screamed running for a hug

"Awwn" Brianna awed and Stephanie made a gagging sigh, the girls noticed her sour face so they gave her a hug too

"Jealousy" Brianna teased, the girls changed into their pink PJs Brianna brought, tiana spread out the nail polish and makeup, Stephanie brought out the snacks and drinks and mina brought out the Bluetooth speakers connecting the music and the girls were set to have the best party ever.

"This is Ethan, you guys may not that familiar with each other" jacob introducted, Ethan spent 3 months at his robotics program and before that he meet Seth, berlu and frank not more than 3 times and they didn't even have any interactions that would leave a lasting impression on each other, he was always at some program, studying or hanging out with jian and Chloe, unlike chole who attended the same summer piano program with frank and berlu, and jian who attended thesame summer tennis program with seth, Ethan didn't attend any of those and was busying trying to get into the young Nasa youths program so he wasn't familiar with the boys.

"Oh, Jian's Best friend" seth commented, focusing on the best friend which earned which a glare and he smirked at Ethan, he was basically putting a label on his relationship with jian, highlighting the fact that he was a 'bestfriend' and he may stay like that because trying to elevate from best friend is a risky gamble, you might fall or rise and Ethan didn't like that at all.

"Yes, so make him feel welcomed" jacob said not realizing the very strange atmosphere

"Don't sweat it" seth waved and jocab beckoned ethan over and just to his dismay the only seat available apart from the floor us next to seth, who was happy to have him over so that he can raise his blood pressure because that was his new favorite thing, ethan sighed before taking the seat,he was just gonna ignore him if not he might actually beat up the guy.

"Here" seth said offering ethan a glass of wine, he eyed it for a moment before taking it

"Its not poisoned" seth said as he noticed he's hesitation

"Maybe a potion to get you off my competition list" he nonchalantly commented and ethan reflectively spit out the drink, seth chuckled taking a sip of his drink

"You might just lose because I'm going to ask out jian on her birthday" ethan said, which was in 3 days

"I advice you don't" seth adviced shaking his head as if he just spoke words of wisdom

"I wouldn't take your advice for it" ethan smirked, really taking his advice he was literally vying for what he wanted aswell,

"I mean as the guy who had her first kiss, i would say" seth smirked as he savoured the difference expressions on Ethan's face, the disbelieve then horror then anger made him very happy, no way Ethan thought, the guy was just trying to reel him up

"Really"he answered as if he read his mind then got up to leave, leaving ethan too stunned to speak, did she really kiss him, he wasn't going to believe it until he heard it from the horse's mouth, but something in him told him it was true he just refused to believe it.
