"We're gonna pick two random letters for first name and last name initials" mina explained, laying the cards face down. After the set up was done, everyone picked two card before showing them off

"Ahh" Brianna screamed, what was the odds she picked J and V, which is Jacob's first name initial and V, Vanderbilt

"It's a match made in heaven" Stephanie clapped and the girls agreed, this was enough sign for Brianna he was the one, she couldn't stop giggling

"I have H J" mina said showing off her cards

"Look for HJ in the future" Brianna joked as mina was single

"I have-" Chloe began then paused, seriously is fate playing games with her, she was low-key hoping to get one name out of the two and could blame the cards if things didn't work out between them but instead she got B and F, something just told her that wasn't a first name and last nme initially but just first name initials

"What do you have" jian asked and chloe put on a smile before showing everyone

"Oh wow" jian commented looking at her friends expression of dismay

"I have E and E" jian showed her cards, she was a little scared she was gonna get something like E and S but thank God, she was already confused enough, she didn't want to be delusional but she felt like something was going on between her and seth was it the kiss that was making her interpret things to things they aren't and at the same time she felt like the jokes were becoming real, the way Ethan looked at her was a bit different, again she might be interpreting it the wrong way, she wouldn't even know what to do if she was put in a chloe situation, does she like seth, does she see ethan more than a friend. She didn't even want to think about it so she was happy to get random letters, Ethans first name might be E but his last name was Banks that's a B not E and the way the game works you have to get both initials for it to be right, not just one. She was relieved until Brianna broke her relieve bubble

"Oh it should have been S so that it could match Seth's" she joked

"Oh like a Enemies to lovers" Stephanie joined in and the others laughed, jian not to look weird joined in laughing awkwardly her heart was literally about to drop, so much for being relieved, so E for Ethan and the other E for seth's surname, even though she didn't know it. Her awkward laughter made chloe laugh even harder, indeed they were soulmate look at them landing in almost the same situation.

So Seth's surname started with a E, she wondered what it was, was it a nice name or hard to pronounce, was it easy to pronounce, did it fit he's name she wondered, suddenly she was very curious to know, she had to find out.

"I have J and J" tiana said showing off her cards and Stephanie couldn't help but eye her weirdly, Jacob's middle name was James, even though middle name wasn't in the game set up, she didn't like the shy smile tiana had on

"We'll lets look out together" mina teased as she and tiana were both single, the other girls teased them about being single before they moved to having some snacks.

"Three, two, one, go" frank counted down, and on his signal marco blew the whistle before Ethan and Seth gripped each other's hand and the arm wrestle began, the guys decided to play some games for fun and Seth suggested arm wrestling and he wanted to compete with Ethan, jacob was a bit confused on the hostility he noticed between the two but when he asked they both said nothing was going on, so he let it be for the mean time, it was a tough match but after 8 straight minutes Seth won, Seth was a nerd in the name of beauty and brains, he was the type girls will swan over because of how handsome he was and how hot he was because he was a gym guy and he was smart enough to get straight As and get into prestigious universities and run a business successfully.Ethan on the other side was intelligent and smart he was the type you'll meet at the library as a regular, the type to built a time machine, he was strong enough not to be beaten up to a pulp and strong enough to carry his own stuff without asking for help, so seth was set to win he was physically stronger than Ethan.

"Won" he smirked and Ethan scoffed

"Not too soon" he smirked back, walking off

"You too sure nothing's going on" jacob asked again and as he did earlier, seth denied any allegation of problems between them

"Us next" seth said changing the topic and it worked, jacob was all pumped up, he was ready to beat his little brother, he was gonna beat him either way, if he lost he would still beat him up and seth was expecting it because as soon as he won he made a run for it around the room.

"Asshole" Ethan complained as he walked along the corridor, he was going to start being serious about exercise, he didn't like the guy having any type of upper hand, he knew Seth was smart, they're smart in different fields, he didn't know much about business just like he didn't know much about science so it was a fair balance. As he walked on and grumpled about he's misfortune of not exercising enough he heard footsteps and he immediately knew who it was, that's how we'll he knew her, he slowed down to hide behind a pillar so he can scare her

"Ugh, seriously i need to stop over thinking" she groaned, as she rounded the corner she screamed, Ethan had suddenly popped out scaring her

"Asshole" she cursed hand over her chest as she tried catching her breath,

"My bad" Ethan chuckled, she was so easily frightened

"What are you doing here" she asked after catching her breath

"Clearing my head" he answered as they walked together

"What about you" Ethan asked

"Same, kinda" she answered, they walked in comfortable silence, each lost in their thoughts, he wanted to ask about the kiss and she was compilating if he did like her as a friend or more, does she like him, she was comfortable with him, they had a lot of common interests, they got along well, he treated her well so they were comparable, he was very smart too and handsome but does she want to take their friendship to another level, she didn't know and that made her even more confused, what did she mean she doesn't know, the fact that she couldn't decide on a yes or no made her frustrated and then there was seth, dating or being in any kind of relationship with him never crossed her mind but since last month when he helped her with her final swimming competition he's been popping up on her mind here and there and then what happened at the bachelorette party made it even worst. She even had a dream they got married, what type of nonsense was that, and she hated the little butterflies he gave her everytime they're eyes would meet and he'll smile at her, what a nuisance.

"Did you two kiss" ethan asked he couldn't hold it in anymore, he was going to spare himself the heartache by not asking but it was eating him up inside so he asked anyways, even though deep down he knew what was coming

"Huh" Jian asked confused it took her a few seconds for her brain to load before she clicked the dots, that pest seth must have told him

"You and that guy" he clarified and jian sighed, for a moment she thought maybe he didn't know but who was she fooling

"Yeah" she whispered giving him an awkward smile

"Oh" he answered and jian noticed he's defeated expression. Was he sad because she didn't tell him and seth had to, she knew chloe didn't for a fact, because she would have told her she told him, or was he sad because she kissed Seth, either way she felt a little bad

"Its was a mistake" she said and he immediately looked up

"Really" he asked and she nodded

"We were drunk, why would i willingly kiss that guy sober" she said with a scoff, she did willingly kiss him the next day after the drunken accident but ethan didn't need to know that, right. The fact that it wasn't a kiss she did sober made him happy, drunken kisses do not count, he couldn't help smiling. He couldn't believe seth was acting all cocky turns out it was a drunken kiss, that's why he didn't like her drinking when he wasn't around, she always did stupid stuff or she'll put herself in harm's way, thank God it was just a kiss a drunken one at that, that can be brushed off.

"Well that's good news" he said smiling at her

"Why" she asked and she immediately regretted it, she felt like she was opening some pandora box or something, especially after the atmosphere suddenly turned really serious, she tried coughing to change things up

"Just glad, that guy doesn't look like good boyfriend material" ethan joked and jian laughed, he looked like the type to try risky stuff, she did like the trill though. She was also relieved that ethan didn't take the conversation to the direction she was scared of, she wasn't ready for that yet and she came to a conclusion of maybe ethan didn't like her that day, she felt like he would have seized this opportunity to say something if he did, but what she didn't know was that ethan noticed the sift in her expression and the way she tried diverting the conversation so he didn't say anything. Did she like seth thats why she didn't want him to say anything that may change the trajectory of their relationship or she wasn't just ready to talk about it, now ethan had something other than his studies to keep him awake

"Ohh it's cold" jian said rubbing her shoulders, the air was becoming chilly as the night was setting

"Just say, you want my jacket" ethan said and jain sheepishly laughed, she knew he could definitely give up his jacket, that was one reason she didn't know if she want to change their friendship status, what if something goes wrong, she would lose a very good friend

"Just give it, I'm freezing" jian said grabbing his jacket. Seth who finally managed to run away from his brother, decided to take a walk and happen to see the two goofing around and laughing as ethan took off his jacket and wore it for jian, he remembered him doing that for her and how cute she looked, sheepishly smiling at him blushing, the thought made him smile until it hit him someone else was doing it for now and she was happily smiling at that person, she didn't have to be drunk for her to smile like that but in his case she had to be tipsy for her to even smile at him, he gave a sad smile before walking off.
