Dark Lord in The Twilight

Chapter 29: 28. Dark Oblivion

Suddenly, they were both startled by the sound of the doorbell ringing. They got out of bed, not saying a word about what had just happened.

They left the room and walked down the stairs. Tom stopped Alice, who was running ahead of them, by holding her waist with his right hand. Before Alice could understand what was happening, she found herself pressed against the wall with her back while Tom held her chin up with his left hand, his right hand still on her waist.

They looked into each other's eyes and Tom pulled Alice closer to him. Alice wrapped her arms around his neck. Since Tom was dominant, he leaned in and began kissing her. Alice responded, but when the doorbell rang again, they both pulled away. Tom had a slight smile on his face while Alice looked embarrassed.

Even though she had taken the first steps, she was still embarrassed. Tom led her to the door, supporting her from behind. When Tom opened the door, there was Rosalie. She had arrived in her car. Alice felt disappointed when she realized it was time to go. Today had been a wonderful day for her.

She smiled at Tom and said, "See you later; I have to go." Alice sounded sad as she spoke; it was evident in her voice. Tom smiled gently and replied, "See you later." Tom was sure that they would meet again. Rosalie walked Alice to the car and they both got in.

---------- Inside the Car ----------

Rosalie turned to Alice and grinned. "Looks like you two had a good time." Alice smiled and nodded in agreement.

Seeing Alice's silent agreement, Rosalie chimed in, "Does your boyfriend wear lipstick at home?" Alice didn't quite understand what Rosalie meant at first, but when she did, she started to laugh.

When Tom had kissed her, his lips had turned red from her lipstick. Alice hadn't had a chance to tell him about the lipstick at that moment. As Alice laughed, Rosalie chuckled at her sweet attitude.

Spending time with this woman made Tom feel different things. He didn't know what to call it. He didn't think it was love, but he was more affected by Alice. These feelings were unfamiliar to Tom, so he didn't know what was right.

Tom went to the forest to clear his mind and practice some spells. It was quite late, but time didn't matter to Tom. He had recently created some spells and written them down, but he hadn't tried them out yet.

Creating a spell was a dangerous task because you didn't know the extent of its effect. Tom had the power to protect himself, so even if it was a death curse, it wouldn't be a problem, but he had to be prepared.

As Tom looked at the shadows cast by the fire at home while meditating, he thought about trying these spells. The ground was wet, slowly turning to ice. It was overcast, indicating that it would snow.

Tom took off his jacket, leaving only his T-shirt on. He wanted to do some physical training, as he appreciated his current body. He did 5 sets of 75 push-ups and 60 sit-ups. He cleaned his dirty clothes with magic.

Now it was time for the main event. Tom raised his wand and pointed it at the open area, creating a puppet with a transfiguration spell. Tom pointed his wand at the doll. The dark energy emanating from the tip of the wand spread everywhere, and the moonlight no longer reached the area. Since it was dark, the spell was even more powerful. Dark energy and smoke swirled around Tom like a storm.

He could direct this energy wherever he wanted, but since there was no target at the moment, he decided to stop the spell. As Tom released the spell, he looked around. Within a radius of 100 meters, there was nothing left. Even the ground had turned black.

This spell was as destructive as a fire curse. If Tom couldn't control the spell, he could be affected by it. Tom had developed this spell inspired by an old shadow spell. He was sure he wouldn't use it unless there was a threat.

He called the spell 'Dark Oblivion'. Tom walked through the barren land as it began to snow. Unaware of the chaos he had caused, he was lost in thought. Every living thing in the forest had felt this dark energy. It was as if there was a fire, and all creatures fled to the same place. Shapeshifters and vampires had felt it as well. Every creature that didn't understand what was happening was afraid. There were a few that weren't afraid.

------- Cullen Family Home ---------

Everyone was gathered around the fire. Carlisle had gathered them all in the living room. As usual, they asked Alice first, because she could see the future, if it was dangerous for them. Alice had felt this energy, but she didn't feel it as a threat like the others. This energy was familiar to her. When she shared her thoughts with the others, they felt somewhat relieved. If there was any danger, they would have left immediately.

--------- Shapeshifter --------

Everyone gathered around the fire. Billy looked at everyone and began to speak. "We can't go and control what we feel; it could be dangerous. It must be the work of the man we saw with the wand earlier. If we disturb him, there's a chance he could hurt us; we don't know him."

No one spoke up; they all agreed. This energy had made them uneasy. None of them wanted to confront the being behind the energy.
