Chapter 60
Carl comes down from the stairs with a sour face. 'Whoever, those green bald who disturb our precious time will get a beating from me.' Carl thought annoyingly.
"Who visited us again, is that Slozz again. He really knows ho-..." Carl stopped his sentence mid-air when he saw a familiar figure in the living room.
"Ohh, it's sir Fendrel, it's been a long time, Sir Fendrel." Carl said brightly, his sour mode vanished immediately upon seeing Fendrel. He then sat opposite Fendrel with Sansa.
"Yeah, it's been a while. How you two been doing." Fendrel asked.
"We are good Sir Fendrel, the Goblins and Orcs are super nice to us." Sansa said she was not wearing the mask anymore. Moreover, she was not afraid to show his face anymore, and she also gained a little confidence. It's all thanks to Carl and also to the Goblins and Orcs who were nice to him.
"That's good to hear." Fendrel said. "Also, I visited you two, today. Because I have some things, that I need you two to evaluate, I hope you can help me."
"Of course, Sir Fendrel. We owe you so much, for letting us live in your village. As long as, it's within our capability, we will surely help you." Carl said.
Fendrel took out a small box, then put it on the table. He said, "There is an important item inside of this box, and I hope you two can identify it." Fendrel said, he then opens the box.
The next moment, the couple was shocked to see what's inside the box. Especially Carl, who was swallowing his saliva nonstop.
"Si-Sir Fendrel, where did you get this." Carl said, with excitement plastered on its face.
Seeing the excited looks of Carl, Fendrel sigh in relief inside. 'This thing might be a treasure outside, from this twos reaction.' He thought.
"Hm, I got this fruit from a friend... Why, is this something good?" Fendrel said, acting confuse.
"It's not just good, Sir Fendrel. It's a treasure in my town." Carl said with excitement.
"Can I take a closer looked at it, Sir Fendrel?" Sansa said, with an odd expression on her face.
"Yeah, sure, you can grab it."
Sansa took the fruit, in the next moment, she takes in a deep breath.
"Sir Fendrel, this is a Crown Fruit. It's my family's business specialty, this fruit helped my family a lot. My father would fork out a Crown Fruit every two years. No one knows where did he get these fruits, however, because of this fruit my family's business prosper. Moreover, because of this, we were able to build a store in the Capital." Sansa said.
"Do you know, what kind of effect this fruit has?" He asked.
However, before Sansa could reply. Carl spoke with excitement.
"Sir Fendrel, all the elite warrior's dreams this fruit, including me... This fruit can help you stimulate your Aura for a minute. Moreover, I heard that this fruit can give you an illusion that you can use your Aura for a brief moment... However, this fruit is so expensive, so I didn't really have a chance to buy this thing." Carl said the last word with a dejected look.
'Ohh, this fruit is that amazing.' He thought in surprise, although he already knows the fruit can stimulate your aura. However, for it to give you an illusion to control your aura, was very beneficial to any elite warrior, even if it's just a brief moment.
In the game, the player also requires to make their aura to come out, to advance to Tier 2. There are two ways to unshackle your aura, to train your body to stimulate your aura, or to buy some expensive things to help you manifest your aura. The second one was what the pay to win players love the most, as for him, of course, he needs to torture his virtual body since he was not a rich young master.
Gold coins were the most important thing in Conqueror. So he doesn't have the leisure to spend a hundred thousand gold coins just to become a Tier 2.
"Is that so, can you tell me how expensive this fruit." He asked.
"I think... it's around and twenty thousand gold coins, Sir Fendrel."
"COUGH!, COUGH!"
Fendrel choked on his saliva when he heard it.
"Are you ok?, Sir Fendrel." Sansa asked in surprise. He hurriedly goes to the kitchen to get water. "Here water, Sir Fendrel." The water comes from the well outside, they boiled it.
Fendrel took the water and drink it in one gulp. "Thank you." He said to Sansa.
"Are you ok now, Sir Fendrel?" Sansa asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm okay now, I was just a little surprise." Fendrel said.
"Ohh, by the way, I have another favor to ask." He said, After composing himself.
"What is it? We will gladly help you, Sir Fendrel." Carl said.
"You know, there is a merchant that will come to this village in ten days. We will be conducting trade with this merchant with some plants and gems we accumulated... However, I don't have a clue what prices my goods are, so I need you two help with this."
"That's not a problem at all, Sir Fendrel... May I see what the goods are, since I have some knowledge about rare plants." Sansa suggested.
"Of course, you two can come with me to the storage room." Fendrel said, he already built two storage house, one for the food they eat. While the other one was newly built to stock the plants and gems.
---------
It didn't take long for them to arrive at the storage house. There, they saw two Tier 1 knights guarding the entrance. Fendrel didn't order these two Knights to guard the storage house. Since there were only goblins and orcs in the village, so he didn't think much about it. However, Purd and Glecs insisted that it needs someone to guard the plants, so he just let them do their job.
Upon seeing Fendrel, the two Knights saluted at him. He opened the door, then invited the two inside.
