Building A Business Empire From Scratch In Another World

Chapter 180 : Report

Morningstar Family Estate - The Grand Study

The Morningstar Estate stood as a magnificent symbol of power and elegance, its grand halls adorned with polished marble and intricate tapestries that told tales of legendary battles.

At the heart of this opulence lay Felix Morningstar's private study,a vast chamber bathed in the soft glow of enchanted chandeliers, their light dancing off shelves filled with ancient tomes.

Felix sat behind an obsidian desk, fingers steepled as he gazed through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the estate's vibrant gardens.

Dressed in an immaculate white suit, the gold and silver embroidery along his long overcoat shimmered subtly in the light.

A golden cane rested against his chair, its surface etched with mysterious arcane runes.

A sharp knock echoed through the room.

"Enter," Felix commanded smoothly.

The doors swung open to reveal Instructor Max, whose heavy boots clicked against the marble floor.

He bowed deeply, pressing a fist to his chest in a traditional knight's salute.

"Family Head, I've come to report on the trial's results."

Felix gestured toward a plush chair across from him. "Sit."

Max complied, his posture rigid even while seated.

Pouring two glasses of rich crimson wine, Felix slid one toward Max. The instructor accepted it but refrained from drinking until given permission.

"How many passed?" Felix asked casually, swirling his glass.

"Eighty-three out of one hundred," Max replied. "Seventeen were rescued by instructors and thus failed."

Felix's lips curved slightly. "Better than I expected." He had anticipated a lower success rate among the children.

Max nodded earnestly. "The children are growing stronger, twenty of them broke through to higher tiers during the trial."

"Notable breakthroughs?"

"Leon and Costa both reached Tier 2," Max said proudly. "Costa particularly…" He hesitated for a moment as if searching for the right words.

Felix's gaze sharpened slightly as he set down his wine glass. "Go on."

Max leaned forward slightly. "The boy killed a Tier 3 Ironhide Boar."

Silence enveloped them for a heartbeat.

Felix took a sip from his glass before asking, "Explain."

"He fought it head-on despite being at a disadvantage but managed to kill it," Max explained earnestly.

Felix tapped his fingers against the desk thoughtfully. "Good."

"More than clever," Max continued passionately. "The beast should have torn him apart! But he remained calm, analyzed, and executed."

He shook his head in disbelief. "I've seen seasoned knights panic in far less dire situations."

Felix steepled his fingers again, expression unreadable. "And what about his other kills?"

"Three Tier 2s and twenty Tier 1s." A smirk crept onto Max's face. "He ranked first in the trial; Leon was second."

For a long moment, Felix said nothing.

Then he said ot Instructor Max,"How did he look?"

Max blinked. "Sir?"

"When he returned," Felix clarified, his voice softening. "Was he injured?"

Understanding dawned in Max's eyes. "Bruised ribs.

A gash on his side. Nothing life-threatening. He healed most of it himself before the trial ended."

Felix exhaled, the tension in his shoulders easing just slightly. "Good."

He rose, his overcoat sweeping behind him as he moved to the window.

Below, the gardens buzzed with activity, servants diligently tending to the grounds.

"This time, although the children were few in number, I bet there was quite a commotion," Felix mused thoughtfully. "I suspect some have set their sights on what we're doing."

Max stood as well, concern etched across his face. "Should we prepare for backlash?"

"Undoubtedly." Felix tightened his grip on his cane, determination flashing in his eyes. "But let them come! The Morningstars do not fear challenges."

He turned back to Max with resolve. "Triple the training for the top ten and double it for those who passed the trial, especially Costa and Leon. I want them pushed to their limits!"

Max bowed respectfully. "It will be done."

Felix lifted his glass high with a glint of ambition in his gaze. "To the future!"

Max finally took a sip of his wine; its rich flavor burst on his tongue like an explosion of possibilities. "To the future!"

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of gold and crimson across the study, two men stood enveloped in comfortable silence, one a lord shaping destiny, and the other a warrior forging its tools.

And somewhere within that estate, a young boy wielding a halberd dreamed of greatness.

Seven Days Later - Morningstar Family Estate - Trinity Bedroom

The grand bedroom basked in soft morning light filtering through silk curtains, creating an atmosphere thick with anticipation as

Felix, Jarvis, Zephyr, Nixie, Brixton, and Gwendolyn gathered around Trinity's lavish bed where she had lain unconscious for days.

Her golden hair flowed across her pillows like liquid sunlight; her delicate features were pale but no longer twisted in pain, the steady rise and fall of her chest was a stark contrast to her previous labored breathing.

Then suddenly… her eyelids fluttered open!

"She's waking up!" Nixie gasped while clutching Gwendolyn's arm tightly.

Felix leaned forward eagerly; gripping his golden cane tighter than ever before: "Trinity?"

Her lips parted slightly,a soft exhale escaping them, and then...

BOOM!

A blinding beam of golden light erupted from Trinity's eyes, slicing through the air like a divine decree.

The sheer force blasted a gaping hole in the ceiling, sending debris cascading down as sunlight flooded into the room.

"What the hell?!" Zephyr barely ducked in time, shielding his face with his arm.

The radiant glow faded as swiftly as it had come, leaving behind an eerie silence. Trinity blinked rapidly, her hands flying to her face. "I... I can't see!"

Jarvis was already on the move, snatching a white silk cloth from the bedside table. "Cover her eyes!" he instructed calmly.

Gwendolyn quickly tied the blindfold around Trinity's head, her fingers trembling slightly. "Are you alright? Does it hurt?"

Trinity shook her head, her breath coming in uneven gasps. "No, it's just… bright. Too bright."

Felix let out a slow breath, glancing between the hole in the ceiling and his sister. "Jarvis. Explain. Now."

Adjusting his glasses, lenses glinting in the sunlight,Jarvis replied with gravity, "There's no doubt about it: Trinity's bloodline has fully awakened."

He paused for effect before continuing in a reverent whisper,"And it's not just any bloodline… She carries the lineage of a Golden Dragon."

"We know about that!" Felix waved his hand dismissively but couldn't hide his surprise. "But I didn't expect it to be the Golden Dragon Bloodline!"
