BLACK CLOVER:The singularity mage

Chapter 24: 21."Grimoire Of Origin"

Time skip 10 years:

The sun crested over the horizon, casting golden rays upon the ancient marble plaza of the Royal Grimoire Tower. It was a sacred day—the day when young mages would receive their grimoires and begin their journey as magic knights. But among them was a boy whose very existence defied fate itself.

Grim Aragon stood quietly among the crowd, clad in simple but refined robes. At only 14, he exuded an aura of unmatched elegance. Golden hair fell in soft waves over crimson eyes that shone with a strange melancholy, as if they had seen lifetimes. His features were sculpted—refined like a prince, but more radiant, more dangerous. He was handsome beyond reason, charismatic without effort.

Though raised in the humble Hage Village, Grim's origins were far more complex. He was the reincarnated son of the Elf leader Licht, blessed by the divine, cursed by the demonic, and chosen by the heavens. Today was not just his ceremony. It was destiny's curtain rising.

The Ceremony

Noelle Silva, Mimosa Vermillion, and Leo Vermillion stood beside him, each from noble families. They had spent the last few months growing closer to Grim—especially Mimosa, who secretly clung to every memory they had shared.

When the time came, a deep wind surged through the tower as ancient magic circled the air. The grimoire shelves lit up with radiant symbols, each book flying to its rightful owner. Leo received a blazing red grimoire with 3 leaf clover with a roaring lion. Noelle's floated to her, silver and elegant and also have 3 leaf clover Mimosa's book shimmered like a blooming flower in spring.

Then it happened.

A strange silence.

The air became heavy. Mana twisted around Grim—invisible threads of power weaving a tapestry beyond mortal comprehension. From the highest altar of the tower, a single book descended. Not like the others. It floated slowly, surrounded by golden light and black flames.

It had no clover.

Instead, three symbols spun together on its cover: an Elven rune, a divine sigil, and a cursed spiral. All fused into one crest—a singularity. The grimoire pulsed like a living heart.

"A... a triple-origin grimoire?" one elder gasped.

"That's impossible!" another muttered. "Spirit, divine, and cursed magic? That's… heresy and miracle in one."

Grim slowly reached out. The moment his fingers touched the cover, everything changed.

The System Awakens

Ding!

A chime rang not in the air, but in his mind.

A flash of golden-blue light passed behind Grim's eyes. A voice echoed softly, deeply, and with class:

> "Your current status: Awakened. Mana Level: Incalculable. Genetic Origin: Elf Leader Licht (Divine Hybrid). Hidden Curse: Seed of Despair. Objectives: Survive, evolve, and defy fate."

"Y-Yeah... sure," Grim whispered mentally.

> "Very well, Young Master. Here are your functions:"

Flashback: Mimosa's Obsession

As the crowd murmured in awe, Mimosa clutched her grimoire but glanced nervously at Grim. A flashback surged through her mind.

11 years ago in Hage Village, Mimosa had been sent on a mission with her elder brother. Young, inexperienced, and frightened, she had become separated in a cursed forest.

There, a massive wild magic beast attacked.

She screamed—but a single golden-haired boy leapt in front of her, bare-handed, taking the brunt of a mana beast's strike.

It was Grim. Because grim is young she didn't remember mimosa but when mimosa heard a rumour boy she was curious but when she see the famous boy she remember what happened on that day and she become obsessed with grim.

Even as blood poured from his tiny body, he stood between her and death.

"Don't worry," he had smiled, face bloodied. "I won't let it hurt you."

In that moment, something inside Mimosa broke.

Not love.

Obsession.

She researched him endlessly afterward. Wrote his name in secret. Drew his face. Her heart would race at the mere sound of his name. And now he stood before her, grimoire in hand, more divine than ever.

Julius' Observation

From the top of the tower, Wizard King Julius Novachrono had watched everything.

A magical lens hovered in front of him, capturing every mana fluctuation.

He smiled, eyes wide with fascination.

"So it really is him..." he whispered. "The lost royal of the Diamond Kingdom. The mana flow—it's even beyond mine. And that grimoire... three origins?"

He turned to his side, writing furiously in a notebook labeled: [Project Singularity].

"This child is no ordinary prodigy. He may very well be the storm that changes the future of the Clover Kingdom."

Grim's Inner Monologue

Grim stood silently as his system organized all files.

> "So I have the power of every fictional world... and no limits."

His crimson eyes scanned his friends.

> "But why me? is it really a coincidence or maybe more? I thought I'd be happy. But I just feel... tired."

Still, he smiled. Because the others were watching.

> "I have to wear this mask. The mask of a king. Like Gojo... ha."

He glanced at Noelle and Leo, then Mimosa.

> "They look at me like I'm some destined hero. But I'm just a broken soul with borrowed power."

The system answered gently:

> "You are more than that, Young Master. You are the one who will break the cycle. Not just of fate—but of despair."

Grim exhaled.

"Fine, then. If I have this power... I'll use it. Not to become a god. Not to get revenge. But to live."

---

The ceremony ended with thunderous applause.
