Chapter 3: ch.3The Sun, The Moon, and a Menace in Training
---
Let's get something straight.
Being a four-year-old with godlike magic was already bad enough. But being seven with even more magic?
Yeah. Things got way worse.

Time Skip – Three Years Later
Elios Solhart had changed a lot since that chaotic day when he punched his father across the yard. He had grown taller, his mana had expanded, and—most importantly—he had learned how not to accidentally destroy furniture.
Mostly.
At seven years old, Elios was beginning to understand his Aurora Magic more clearly. His mother had banned him from testing his Noon Form near the house (something about "we just fixed the roof"), and his father had started training him properly so that he wouldn't be a "wild cannon of destruction."
However, there were still… complications.
For one, his magic had evolved.
What started as a simple "Sun-Based Power Boost" had now become a complex cycle of different abilities depending on the time of day.
Dawn Phase (Sunrise) – Boosts energy, enhances allies, makes plants grow (accidentally created a small jungle in the backyard once—Mom was not happy).
Noon Phase (Midday) – Turns into an absolute beast, but drains mana ridiculously fast. (Can and will destroy things accidentally.)
Dusk Phase (Sunset) – Absorbs light energy for defense and healing. (Kind of like recharging a battery, except I am the battery.)
Midnight Phase (Night) – A sneaky shadow-powered form that lets him blend into darkness, move without sound, and be an absolute menace. (Mom threatened to throw salt at me when I scared her.)

Training with Dad
"Alright, Elios," Darius Solhart said, standing in the training yard behind their house. "Let's test your control over Dusk Phase today."
Elios stretched, feeling the soft glow of the setting sun fueling his body. "No problem."
Darius tossed a rock toward him. "Block this."
Elios held out his hand, and a faint golden shield shimmered to life in front of him. The rock bounced off harmlessly.
His father nodded approvingly. "Good. Now, let's test your healing."
Elios grinned. "Want me to punch you first so you have something to heal?"
Darius raised an eyebrow. "I'm not Mom. I can fight back."
Elios wisely chose silence.
Okay, yeah. I definitely don't want to end up in the ground today.
I focused, channeling my magic into my hands. A soft glow of light pulsed between my fingers. Slowly, I moved it toward a nearby flower I had… uh… stepped on earlier.
The moment the light touched it, the flower sprang back to life, petals unfolding beautifully.
"Nice," Dad said, rubbing his chin. "Your magic is getting stronger. You're healing things faster than before."
I smirked. "So I basically can't die now?"
Dad chuckled. "Only if you learn to use it properly."
Third-Person (Narration):
Elios grinned. He was finally making real progress with his magic.
Then he yawned.
And immediately disappeared.
Darius blinked.
Lady Solhart, watching from the house, let out a long sigh. "It happened again, didn't it?"
Darius crossed his arms. "Yeah… Midnight Phase kicked in."
Somewhere, an invisible Elios was snickering to himself.

Midnight Menace
First-Person (MC's Thoughts):
Okay, I admit it.
Midnight Phase is cool as hell.
Whenever night falls, my body just naturally shifts into stealth mode. My magic darkens, my footsteps go silent, and I can literally melt into shadows.
Mom says it's unfair.
Dad says it's dangerous.
I say it's hilarious.
Like right now, for example.
I watched from the darkness as Mom left a plate of cookies on the kitchen counter. Big mistake.
With zero sound, I slipped from the shadows, grabbed the entire plate, and vanished again.
"ELIOS!"
She knew.
How? No clue. But moms have a sixth sense for when their children are being brats.
I sprinted away, cookies in hand, before she could grab the broom.

The Future Awaits
Third-Person (Narration):
Despite his antics, Elios was beginning to understand his true potential.
He had an unusual magic, one that evolved and adapted throughout the day. If he could master all of its phases, he could become something truly powerful.
But there was one final test he needed to pass.
In just a few years…
He would be getting his Grimoire.
And that?
That would change everything.
