Chapter 9: CHAPTER 9 : STRONGEST OF HUMANITY
[Scene: The Edge of the Cliff – Laurasia]
A frigid wind howled across the jagged cliffs, sending dust swirling in the air.
Beneath the rising sun, Orion stood alone, his long black cloak billowing behind him, eyes locked onto the valley below.
There, a wave of grotesque creatures surged forward—Clamities, horrors birthed from Zora8T.
Orion plunged from the cliff, a shadow against the morning light, descending like an executioner upon the Clamities that rushed toward the travellers.
The travellers—Elves, Dwarves, and Homo-Habilis Humans—stood frozen, their expressions twisted in fear.
Some fell to their knees, clutching their heads.
Others trembled, gripping their weapons with shaking hands.
A young elf barely managed to whisper—his voice dry with terror.
Elf Warrior : "M-Monsters... they're everywhere."
Dwarven Fighter : "We're dead! They—They're too fast!"
The earth trembled as the Clamities charged, their soulless eyes locked onto the travellers.
These creatures did not hesitate. They did not know fear. They only consumed.
But before they could reach their prey—
WHOOSH!
A shadow descended from the heavens.
A single figure, cloaked in black, dropped between the terrified travellers and the approaching Clamities.
Orion had arrived.
📜 [SKILL ACTIVATED: Burn Lv.5]
FWOOOOOOOSH!
The air ignited as a roaring inferno erupted from Orion's form, spreading in a perfect 40-meter radius.
Flames roared like a living beast, devouring the first wave of Clamities in an instant.
BOOM!
Their inhuman screeches echoed as their flesh blackened, their limbs twisting in agony. But they did not stop.
Even as they burned, they charged forward.
Orion's expression remained unmoved. His right hand tightened around the Wyvern-Tooth Short Sword. His left gripped Yggdrasil's Saber.
And then—
He moved.
SWOOSH!
Orion vanished from sight.
📜 [SKILL ACTIVATED: Flash Step Lv.4]
A blink of movement. A blur of black and silver.
SHIIING!
Orion reappeared mid-air, twisting his body as his Short Sword slashed through a Clamity's skull, splitting it in half.
SPLURT!
Blackened blood sprayed across the ground.
Another Clamity lunged at him from behind—
📜 [SKILL ACTIVATED: Instinctual Evasion Lv.7]
Orion's body moved before the attack even landed. He twisted, Yggdrasil's Saber glowing with a golden arc—
SLASH!
The creature's torso split open, its insides spilling onto the ground as Orion landed lightly on his feet.
But there was no time to pause.
Another six Clamities closed in, their razor-sharp claws descending like spears.
📜 [SKILL ACTIVATED: Qi Burst Lv.4]
BOOOOOM!
A shockwave of pure Qi energy erupted from Orion's core, blasting them backward like ragdolls.
His Predator's Aura surged.
📜 [Predator's Aura Lv.8] ACTIVATED!
A crushing, invisible weight pressed down on the battlefield.
The weaker Clamities hesitated for the first time, their instincts screaming danger.
That hesitation was their doom.
An Elven warrior gasped.
Elf Warrior: "By the gods... he's not just fighting. He's—he's butchering them."
A Dwarven fighter clenched his weapon tighter.
Dwarven Fighter: "What in the name of the forge is he?! No being moves like that!"
Human Fighter : "He's fighting alone, let's join him."
Mercenary Human : "Alright! everybody ready to charge."
The Homo-Habilis travellers—primitive but intelligent—stared in absolute awe. They had never seen a being like Orion.
To them, he was not a man.
He was a storm of blades and fire.
And yet—
They were not alone.
A roar echoed through the battlefield.
Mercenary Human : "FOR THE SURVIVORS!"
Without a word, the strongest among the travellers surged forward.
Elven swordsmen unleashed precise, mana-infused slashes, their blades glowing with ancient magic.
Dwarven warriors wielding massive hammers crushed Clamities under sheer brute force.
Homo-Habilis hunters used primitive but deadly techniques, striking at weak points with terrifying efficiency.
They did not fight for victory.
They fought because to run was to die.
📜 [SKILL ACTIVATED: Battle Meditation Lv.6]
Orion's breathing slowed. His mind cleared.
The world became sharper, slower.
He sidestepped an attack.
SLASH!
His Short Sword impaled a Clamity's throat.
BOOM!
His Saber decapitated another in a single arc.
Three Clamities lunged at him at once—
📜 [SKILL ACTIVATED: Flash Step Lv.4]
He was gone.
And when he reappeared—
SPLATTER! Three headless corpses hit the ground.
The battlefield was drenched in black blood.
And finally—
after 40+ Minues.
First wave of Clamities was ended, with 500+ Casulties & 600+ Injured on the Travellers side.
4000+ managed to survive in Which 2000+ were Non-Combactants.

Orion(thinking) : "The monsters are too weak to store or absorb, even if I absorb or store it will have no major effect."
Orion(thinking) : "I'll just leave them here."
The travellers stood in stunned silence.
The battlefield, once filled with screams and roars, was now eerily quiet.
The corpses of Hundreds to Thousands of Clamities lay scattered around them, burned, slashed, and shattered.
Orion exhaled, wiping the blackened blood from his blade. His silver-black hair glowed under the sunlight, his golden eyes piercing.
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then—
A young Elven warrior fell to his knees, gripping the dirt.
Elf Warrior: "He... he saved us all."
The Dwarven fighter let out a shaky breath.
Dwarven Fighter: "That was... not human."
One of the Homo-Habilis hunters, still clutching his primitive spear, looked at Orion with something new in his eyes.
Respect.
But Orion did not acknowledge them.
His gaze was already on the horizon.
Because he knew—
This was just the beginning.
Meanwhile-------
[Scene Shift – Eldorian Empire's Capital]
The capital of Eldoria, the heart of the empire, was drowning in absolute carnage.
Above the city, three massive sky fractures churned like wounds in the heavens, vomiting an endless horde of Clamities into the streets.
Of all the places in the world, the capital suffered the worst.
More Clamities swarmed here than anywhere else on Earth.
The walls, meant to stand for eternity, were collapsing like rotting wood.
The soldiers were not fighting a battle—they were being slaughtered.
For less than an hour, the massive gates had held, sealing the city from the nightmare beyond.
But now—
The nightmare was already inside.
The western wall fell first.
It started with a single Clamity, its mindless hunger driving it up the blood-soaked stone, scaling it like a rabid beast.
Then—
Hundreds more Clamities followed.
The soldiers atop the western wall were powerless.
Their screams were drowned in an ocean of death.
The first Clamity sank its claws into a soldier's chest—
SCHLUK!
His body shriveled in an instant, his flesh turning to dust as his vitality was drained.
The others barely had time to react before—
Soldier : "AARRRGH!"
Soldier : "HELP ME—!"
Soldier : "GRAAAAAHHHHHH—"
One by one, the soldiers collapsed, their lifeless bodies tumbling down the walls like broken dolls.
The Western Wall Commander, a veteran of a hundred wars, barely had time to swing his sword before his entire being was consumed.
With no one left to stop them, the Clamities surged forward—
The northern wall was next.
Then the southern wall.
Within minutes, their commanders fell just like the west.
The Clamities were now attacking the eastern wall by climbing the northern and southern walls.
The Clamities poured into the city, a flood of pure destruction. Homes burned, civilians screamed, bodies were torn apart.
The capital was collapsing.
There was no hope left.
And then—
Something changed.
It started at the heart of the city.
A violent force erupted like a silent storm—and in less than five seconds, every Clamity inside the city… died.
💥 SCHLINK! SPLASH! BOOM! 💥
Creatures split apart before they could even react.
Limbs fell to the ground, heads rolled, torsos severed.
In mere seconds, thousands of Clamities were reduced to lifeless corpses.
The few surviving soldiers, hiding in the ruins, could do nothing but watch in horror.
Then—
High above the western wall, where the last of the Empire's defenders had just been slaughtered, a figure emerged.
A man stood alone.
Old. Bulky. Massive. A Long white coat on his back.
His muscles, scarred and battle-worn, told a story of countless wars.
In his right hand, he gripped a colossal glaive, its blade shimmering with an ancient power.
The reinforcements from the East Wall arrived just in time to witness him standing there.
Soldier #1: "W-Who…?"
Soldier #2: "Impossible… is that…?"
A sharp gust of wind swept across the battlefield.
The old man exhaled, lifting his glaive. His eyes burned like embers in a dying fire.
Then—
He jumped.
The reinforcements froze as the old warrior plummeted from the ruined Western Wall, descending into the endless tide of Clamities.
A young recruit, barely able to hold his spear, felt his breath catch in his throat.
Young Soldier: "He's—he's going to die!"
A veteran grabbed him by the shoulder, his grip trembling.
Veteran Soldier: "No... you fool. Look at the air around him!"
The very space around the man had begun to crack.
[SIGNATURE MOVE : VOID REND]
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!! 💥
The moment he landed—
The ground ruptured.
A storm of destruction exploded outward.
Every single Clamity within a 20-mile radius was erased.
BOOOOOOOOM!
Their bodies detonated, bursting into blood and bone, their very existence wiped from reality.
The entire Western battlefield… had been cleansed.
The reinforcements stood in stunned silence.
One of the older knights, his armor dented and worn, took a shaky step forward, his mouth hanging open in disbelief.
Old Knight: "That power… there's only one man who could do that…"
Another soldier dropped his weapon, falling to his knees.
Soldier #3: "It… it can't be…"
A younger officer, barely able to form words, whispered in sheer awe—
"[Veldros Earthbane, Aka... "The Behemoth"]"
And as the name rippled through the army, a single truth became clear—
The Strongest of Humanity had arrived.
The man disappeared, and appeared North then South and lastly East.
In matter of Seconds he cleansed entirity of all battlefields containing the Clamities of the First wave.
The man vanished in a blur, reappearing first in the North, then the South, and finally the East.
Within mere seconds, every battlefield across the capital lay silent.
The remnants of the first wave of Clamities reduced to nothing but severed husks and shattered remains.
A stillness unlike any before had fallen upon the battlefield.
Where once there was only carnage, death, and despair, now there was silence.
The streets, once flooded with Clamities, were now littered with nothing but shattered husks and severed limbs.
Their grotesque forms cleaved apart as if by an executioner's blade.
And standing at the heart of it all…
Veldros Earthbane.
The Strongest of Humanity.
A titan of a man who had turned an impossible battle into a massacre.
He did not celebrate.
He did not bask in victory.
He simply turned, stepping over the ruins of slaughtered abominations, making his way back to the highest point of the western wall.
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then—
One soldier, still gripping his bloodstained sword, let out a single, trembling roar.
Soldier #1: "VICTORY!"
The cry ripped through the silence like lightning, shaking the men from their stunned disbelief.
Another voice followed.
Soldier #2: "VICTORY!!!"
Then another.
And another.
Until the entire army erupted into a roar so deafening, so raw with emotion, that the very ground trembled beneath their feet.
🔥 "VICTORY!!!" 🔥
🔥 "VICTORY!!!" 🔥
🔥 "VICTORY!!!" 🔥
The castle of the Emperor shook, its stone foundations groaning under the sheer force of the warriors' voices.
Even those who had once collapsed in despair, those who had lost all hope.
Now stood tall—their weapons raised high as they screamed into the bloodstained sky.
For the first time, it was not the screams of the dying that filled the capital.
It was the cry of the living.
Yet, amidst the thunderous celebration, one man remained unmoved.
Veldros Earthbane walked silently, stepping over the rubble, his colossal glaive resting effortlessly upon his shoulder.
He did not acknowledge the cheers.
He did not revel in the moment.
He did not even glance at the men who praised him as their savior.
Instead—
He ascended.
One step.
Then another.
Until he reached the highest point of the Western Wall, standing atop the ruins like a silent guardian.
There, he waited.
His scarred arms crossed, his cold gaze locked onto the sky.
The battle was not over.
The fractures in the heavens still bled.
And he knew—
The Second Wave will come.
[Scene Shift – The Powerhouses of the World]
The first wave of Clamities had swept across the world like a great storm.
Many kingdoms had suffered. Many had fallen.
But not all.
Some forces stood untouched, their might so overwhelming that the Clamities were nothing more than insects before them.
The Titans, Dragons, and Wyverns – Unshaken, Unchallenged.
Among the mightiest races, the Titans, Dragons, and Wyverns had not lost a single warrior.
The Titans, standing like mountains upon the battlefield, crushed Clamities underfoot.
Their very presence alone enough to shatter the enemy's ranks.
The Dragons, ancient and wise, unleashed infernos hot enough to melt the sky.
Their flames reducing entire hordes to ash before they could land a single strike.
The Wyverns, swift and precise, tore through & there fire burned the Clamities like living blades of fire, each dive a massacre.
Their agility rendering the mindless beasts useless.
They did not fight for survival.
They fought because war was in their blood.
The First Wave meant nothing to them.
[Scene Shift – The Heavens (28 Sky Cities)]
Above the world, within the 28 Sky Cities, the battle was different.
Unlike the Titans and Dragons, the Heavens did not rely on raw destruction.
They relied on perfect coordination, divine power, and unwavering discipline.
Angels and Cloudfolks held the frontlines, their radiant weapons clashing against the invaders.
Divinities did not fight directly—they focused on keeping the 81-Layer Barrier intact and healing the wounded.
For a time, the defenses held.
But then—
Two Sky Cities fell.
The Clamities had found weaknesses in the barriers, tearing through in a moment of chaos.
For the first time, even the Heavens trembled.
But before disaster could spread—
📜 The Sky God, Cloud God, and Divine God descended.
And in an instant—
The war was over.
The fallen cities were reclaimed.
The barriers restored.
The Clamities, erased.
The Heavens emerged from the First Wave nearly unscathed.
[Scene Shift – The Oceans]
A War That Lasted Less Than 30 Minutes.
The war on land and sky had raged for hours.
But beneath the waves—
📜 The First Wave did not last more than half an hour.
Low-level Clamities attempted to cross the oceans, only to be devoured by Leviathans and Sea Beasts.
The entire ocean, under the dominion of the Sea God, became a slaughterhouse.
Not a single Clamity survived the depths.
While the lands of men burned, while the cities of elves and dwarves struggled—
📜 The seas remained untouched.
The First Wave had been shattered.
[Scene Shift – The Monster Horde Awakens]
For the first time in a millennium, the monsters of the world—beasts of chaos and primal instinct—moved not as scattered predators, but as an organized force.
The reason?
📜 The Monster God had taken command.
Across mountains, valleys, and cursed lands, every species of monster—from the smallest goblins to the colossal behemoths—turned their attention to the invaders.
They had spent ages warring among themselves, driven only by instinct.
But now—
They had a leader.
They had a purpose.
They had a war to fight.
And under the Monster God's iron will, the counterattack began.
The Monster Counterattack – A Storm of Beasts
The Behemoths, titanic creatures that had slumbered for centuries, rose from the depths of their caves, trampling Clamities underfoot.
Hydras, their many heads lashing out, tore through the enemy like scythes cutting wheat.
Lycan hordes ran in perfect formation, their claws and fangs gleaming with bloodlust.
Colossal spiders flooded the battlefields, ensnaring Clamities in webbing so strong it was like steel.
The monsters fought with a savagery unmatched, a force that even the Clamities had never encountered before.
And yet—
📜 They were not mindless.
For the first time in history, they moved with precision, their tactics guided by something far greater than mere hunger.
📍 The Monster God stood atop the highest peak, his eyes glowing with ancient power.
Watching over the battlefield like a king observing his kingdom.
He did not fight.
He commanded.
And as his armies ripped through the Clamities, the monsters of the world reclaimed their place as apex predators.
[Scene Shift – The Demon Kingdom]
A War Within a War.
Unlike the other races, the Demon Kingdom did not suffer.
Not because they were untouched.
But because they were too busy fighting each other.
The Clamities did not bring destruction to the Demon Kingdom.
Instead, they became nothing more than fuel for the endless civil wars between demon lords.
The Archdukes of Hell clashed.
Demon generals carved through the Clamities with ease, using the battle as an excuse to settle old grudges.
Entire fortresses burned—not from invasion, but from the demons themselves.
The strongest among them, the Demon King, simply watched.
📜 "Let them fight," he muttered, his crimson eyes gleaming.
"The weak will die. The strong will thrive, as the Almighty Demon God always wished."
To the demons, this wasn't a war.
It was a game.
A stage to prove who deserved to rule.
And as the lesser demons tore through the Clamities like cattle, it became clear—
📜 The Demon Kingdom did not need saving.
They were the only ones enjoying this war.
The Human Kingdom barely survived, teetering on the brink of destruction.
Yet, the Elven Kingdom stood strong, safeguarded by the divine presence of the Elven God.
Meanwhile, the Dwarven Kingdom remained unshaken, its foundation secured by the steadfast power of the Earth God.
