Chapter 10: CHAPTER 10 : THE FLAVOR OF RICH ENERGY
The heavens, once alight with the presence of the Twelve Gods, dimmed as the last remnants of the First Wave were erased from their respective domains.
The divine had descended—if only briefly—wielding power beyond mortal comprehension.
With a mere fraction of their strength, they had obliterated millions of Clamities, carving out a moment of fragile respite for the world below.
But their purpose had never been to save.
Only to delay.
And now, their work was done.
As the last embers of battle faded, twelve celestial figures ascended once more, their divine auras retreating from the mortal plane.
Their voices, woven into the very fabric of existence, resonated across all empires, kingdoms, and battlefields—words that would shape the fate of all who remained.
The Voice was heard across the Globe.
"We have granted you time—time to prepare, time to rise, time to prove your worth."
"With our hands, we have cleared the path, striking down the unworthy hordes that would have consumed you before you could even lift your blades."
"But no more."
"From this moment forth, our intervention ceases."
"Survive—if you can."
"Or perish—if you cannot."
"Fate shall judge you now."
And with those final words, the heavens sealed themselves shut.
No divine radiance remained. No celestial figures stood watch.
For the first time, the world was truly alone.
The moment the Twelve Gods' voices faded, a heavy silence blanketed the world.
It was not the silence of peace, nor the stillness before a storm—it was the weight of abandonment.
For the first time in known history, there were no higher beings watching over them.
No celestial hands to hold the balance. No divine intervention to halt the slaughter.
And in that silence, something stirred.
From the deepest mountains to the vastest oceans, from the hidden realms of forgotten warriors to the quiet villages where legends had long chosen to rest, they rose once more.
The strongest warriors and cultivators, those who had spent lifetimes in seclusion, stepped back into the world.
The retired champions—those who had once walked away from war to live in peace—donned their weapons once again.
The mightiest of each race, those thought lost to history, now emerged from their self-imposed exile.
For the first time in centuries—perhaps even millennia—the true legends of the world took this war seriously.
🔹 The Strongest of Humanity –
The Warlords of the Forgotten Dynasties, the Saints of Ancient Martial Arts, and the lost Grandmasters of Qi and Mana returned from the shadows.
Some had trained in solitude, reaching heights never before seen. Others had sworn never to fight again—until now.
🔹 The Elven Paragons –
From the heart of the Eternal Verdant Forest, where only the purest of elves tread.
Came the Elders of Primordial Qi, masters of spells that could rewrite nature itself.
They had ignored the cries of war for ages—but the threat of extinction had finally drawn them out.
🔹 The Dwarven Warlords –
In the Molten Halls beneath the world, the greatest smiths and warriors of stone and steel had spent centuries forging the perfect weapons—waiting for a worthy battle.
Now, they wielded them.
🔹 The Monster Kings –
After the Monster God abandoned his race, all non-mindless monsters rose from the depths.
From the Abyssal Lairs and Forbidden Depths, those creatures who had ruled their kin through sheer domination now emerged.
Some would fight for survival.
Some would fight for conquest.
🔹 The Ventari (Windborne Warriors) –
From the floating peaks of Laurasia, the Sky Rulers descended.
Warriors as fast as lightning, wielders of wind that could slice through mountains, now took to the battlefield.
🔹 The Merfolk Overlords –
From the blackest depths of the Abyssal Ocean, where only the strongest of their kind could breathe, the Tideborn Monarchs rose.
Their magic was not meant for land—but now, for the first time, they would fight beyond the sea.
🔹 The Cloudborn, Angels & Divinities –
From the highest sanctuaries in the sky, beings of divine heritage descended.
Some were warriors of holy retribution.
Others were keepers of celestial law.
But today, they were survivors.
🔹 The Demon Overlords –
From the Great Demon Abyss, where time itself warped under their presence, the Overlords of the Demonic Races emerged.
They had once thrived on war.
Now, they had no choice but to join it.
But the Superior Races Choose Not to Move... Not Yet.
After their gods abandoned all races, the Titans, Dragons, Wyverns, Leviathans, and Sea Beasts simply returned to their slumber.
This war was no longer their concern—the Clamities were far too weak to be worth their attention.
Far beyond the struggles of the lesser races, in the hidden domains of the truly supreme beings, there was no urgency.
The Dragons, perched upon their celestial peaks, merely watched.
Their kind had no reason to interfere—unless something worthy appeared.
The Titans, standing like mountains given life, barely acknowledged the battle below. No mere horde could threaten them.
The Wyverns, their massive wings casting shadows over continents, felt no reason to descend. Their might was undisputed.
The Leviathans, slumbering in the deepest trenches of the abyss, did not stir.
Their battles were with storms, gods, and time itself—not insects.
The Sea Beasts, greater than islands, did not rage. Not yet.
Until a true threat appeared—until something worthy challenged their supremacy—they had no reason to move.
[Scene Shift : Zora8T]
The surface of Zora8T, once a land of absolute chaos, trembled with change.
For eons, its skies had churned in endless storms, crimson clouds twisting like dying embers in a void of violence.
The winds, once howling with nothing but the echoes of mindless slaughter, now carried something foreign—something pure.
The fractures in the skyes on Earth and Zora8T had begun their silent exchange.
The Rich Qi and Mana—essences that favored civilizations, wisdom, and balance—seeped into Zora8T's cursed veins.
In return, the planet exhaled its Chaotic Qi and Mana, spewing its corrupted essence into the Earth beyond, tainting worlds with raw destruction.
[Chaotic Qi & Mana Does will not Effect Earth in the Slightest, because of Rich Qi & Mana Cores on Earth.]
But here, on this forsaken land, something new was taking root.
In the depths of the Storm Ridges, where the air itself could crush weaker beings into dust, something stirred beneath jagged stones.
A nest of eggs, each the size of boulders, lay buried in the scorched soil, their surfaces lined with pulsating veins.
The creatures within had never known peace. Their ancestors were born in agony, their instincts reduced to a single law—kill or be killed.
But today, the eggs trembled differently.
For the first time in millions of years, their unborn minds did not wake with hunger.
A flicker—subtle, fragile—a thought.
A question where none should exist.
A whisper in the void of their inherited instinct.
They were changing.
Deep within the Abyssal Maw, where darkness consumed even the strongest predators, the unborn titans slumbered.
Here, in the lowest depths, the greatest horrors were birthed—colossal beings whose existence defied all reason.
These were the rulers of Zora8T, the apex beyond apex.
Yet, as Rich Mana and Qi seeped into the abyss, something unnatural occurred.
The unborn titans did not thrash against their eggshells in blind bloodlust.
They listened.
They felt something beyond the hunger.
A longing—an urge not to kill, but to see.
A fragment of awareness flickered in the abyss.
In the Devouring Cradle, where the most ancient beasts of Zora8T roamed in eternal battle, a single creature refused to be born.
It had been gestating in its monstrous womb for over ten thousand years. A titan beyond measure.
A being that should have emerged long ago as the next great destroyer.
Yet, it had never left its shell.
Its siblings, countless in number, had hatched one after another, each more monstrous than the last, each throwing themselves into the eternal slaughter the moment they emerged.
But this one… it had waited.
And now, with the touch of Rich Qi and Mana, it understood why.
It was meant to be more.
A fracture ran through its eggshell, golden veins of Qi and Mana surging through its form, illuminating the cracks.
For the first time in the history of Zora8T—
A beast was born with consciousness.
The skies cracked further, the heavens and the abyss waging a silent war of exchange.
The next generations of Zora8T will no longer be just mindless creatures.
As the creatures of Zora8T began to evolve beyond primal instinct—gaining the first flickers of consciousness—the time approached when Second Wave of Zora8T descended upon Earth.
This time, it was still a mindless horde—but now, it had leaders.
Hundreds of thousands of monstrous beings surged forward, led by their Horde Parents—colossal progenitors whom even most of the feral creatures dared not disobey.
[Laurasia – Modern-Day China]
The air was thick with the stench of blood and burnt flesh.
The once verdant plains of Laurasia were now nothing more than a graveyard of slaughtered Clamities.
Their twisted, monstrous forms lay scattered across the battlefield, their blackened blood pooling into the scorched earth.
At the center of it all, Orion stood, his silver-black hair slicked back with sweat and gore, his twin blades gleaming under the faint morning light.
Around him, the surviving travellers—a mix of Elves, Dwarves, Homo-Habilis Humans, and scattered warriors of other races—stood in stunned silence.
Just yesterday, their group had numbered over 4,500.
Now, over 500 had fallen, their bodies torn apart, their souls lost to the merciless tide of battle.
Another 600 lay wounded, some barely clinging to life.
And yet… they were still alive.
Because Orion had stood between them and death. A Savior in Their Eyes.
Murmurs spread among the survivors, whispers of awe and disbelief.
"A single warrior… against thousands?"
"Did you see him? He fought like a demon."
"No… not a demon. Something far worse."
"He's… a savior."
Some approached him hesitantly, their expressions torn between gratitude and reverence.
An elderly dwarf bowed low. "You saved my kin. We owe you a debt we can never repay."
A young elf warrior, still trembling from battle, clutched his sword with both hands.
"We were supposed to die here… but because of you…" He swallowed hard. "Thank you."
The wounded were gathered, mourned for the dead, and after a brief moment of rest, the decision was made.
They had to move.
With their numbers now diminished, staying in Laurasia was no longer an option. The capital of Eldoria was their only hope of shelter.
Or so they believed.
But Orion knew the truth.
He had seen it through his Omniscience, felt it in the air.
The capital was worse.
If they thought the Clamities here were bad…
They had no idea what awaited them in Eldoria.
The Next Day – 21 Hours Later
The survivors had moved swiftly, covering great distances as they made their way towards the capital.
The roads were eerily quiet, the usual dangers of bandits or wild beasts seemingly gone.
But Orion remained on edge.
Something was coming.
And then—
📜 [SYSTEM NOTIFICATION] 📜
🔹 1 minute remaining until Zora8T's Second Influence appears.
Orion's golden eyes narrowed.
A shift in the wind.
A faint tremor beneath his feet.
And in the distant sky—the first cracks began to form.
The Second Wave was here.
📜 [SYSTEM NOTIFICATION] – Zora8T's Second Influence Arriving in: 60 Seconds.
Orion exhaled slowly, his grip tightening around his saber. "So, they're finally bringing something worth killing."
60 Seconds Until the Second Wave
60…
A gust of wind tore through the battlefield, carrying the distant echoes of something… unnatural. The sky twisted, rippling as if reality itself was rejecting what was about to emerge.
Orion stood unmoving, his sharp gaze locked onto the two massive cracks forming before him.
They had appeared once before, spewing out mindless horrors, but now…
They were opening again.
50…
The air thickened, charged with an oppressive energy. The ground beneath Orion's feet shuddered, as if the very world was preparing for something greater.
40…
A deep, guttural rumbling echoed from the cracks—a sound of something massive, something unchained.
Then—a clawed hand broke through the dimensional fracture.
No, not one.
Dozens. Hundreds. Thousands.
30…
The first Clamities emerged, their monstrous forms spilling out like a flood. But something was… different.
Before, they had been rabid, charging without thought, without purpose.
But now—
They moved in sync.
They were still mindless, still hungry, but their movements were too coordinated.
Like a force being guided by something unseen.
20…
Orion's grip on his blade tightened.
His Predator's Aura surged, responding to the sheer volume of enemies pouring forth. Thousands were already emerging, but…
Something else was coming.
Something worse.
10…
A shadow loomed behind the Clamities.
Massive figures stepped forward—mindless but leaders.
Their presence was overwhelming, commanding.
These were the Horde Parents.
5…
The sky screamed. The cracks expanded.
The battlefield would never be the same again.
4…
The Horde Parents raised their monstrous heads, gazing down at the battlefield with cold, calculated hunger.
They were here to lead.
3…
2…
The first Horde Parent stepped through, its monstrous frame blotting out the sky.
1…
0…
The Second Wave had begun.
TO BE CONTINUED.----------
