Awakening Kryptonian Bloodline In Marvel.

Chapter 96: Chapter 96: Futuristic Tech.

Agent K remained hidden in a dark, overlooked corner of the Helicarrier. Her enhanced agility and reflexes allowed her to move unseen, slipping past Hydra's perimeter without a sound.

Just as she closed her eyes to rest, her wristband vibrated gently. A single tap on the screen brought up a secure message—from Malrick.

S: Video received. Good work. Extract Nick Fury and his team—now.

Malrick, currently on the Helicarrier, had just issued the order to retreat. S was his code name within the Men in Black.

He wasn't ready to release the Skrull footage yet. Hydra's exposure was shocking enough for the global public—for now.

As far as Malrick was concerned, the alien revelation could wait for the next stage of his plan, where it would deliver maximum impact. With public rage at its peak, he could use the moment to push the Skrulls off Earth entirely.

As for the exposed Skrull corpse, he trusted Fury to spin a cover story.

Malrick often felt like he deserved a "Shock Value" meter. If such a system existed, the sheer global chaos he had stirred up so far might have earned him a physique worthy of a small-scale Superman.

---

On the Helicarrier, Agent K closed the message and shut off her device.

"Understood, boss," she whispered, retrieving a metal briefcase. With graceful confidence, she stepped out from the shadows, her slim silhouette moving like a dancer—poised and deadly.

Agent K was of Asian descent. Originally a Red Room operative, she had been embedded in one of Hydra's research labs. Her brilliance quickly caught Hydra's eye, and they transferred her to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s academy.

Hydra had tried to brainwash her—but their methods were primitive compared to the Red Room's. If Natasha Romanoff hadn't injected her with a cognitive inhibitor just a month ago, Agent K might still be running experiments alongside Fitz and Simmons.

The moment she stepped into view, a Hydra agent raised his weapon. "Freeze!"

Rumlow stopped him with a raised hand, recognizing her face. "You're Caitlyn, right? Last I heard, you were in the lab."

"I'm on a special assignment," she said coolly. "From him."

She didn't specify who "him" was.

Walking past Rumlow, she leaned in and whispered: "Hail Hydra."

The correct code.

Rumlow's hesitation vanished. If she knew the phrase, she had clearance. One of theirs.

He gave a signal to stand down, and the others returned to their stations.

Rumlow didn't ask why she needed Fury alive—or why she was taking him and the others instead of killing them. He simply watched as Agent K effortlessly hoisted Fury over her shoulder, carried Hawkeye in one arm, and tucked Hill and Sharon Carter under the other. Then she walked out like it was nothing.

"She's enhanced… another Winter Soldier, maybe?" Rumlow muttered, but didn't press the thought.

Agent K boarded a Quinjet without resistance, dropped the four unconscious agents on the floor, and sealed the hatch.

Seconds later, the jet lifted off and departed from the Helicarrier.

---

Inside the Quinjet, tension filled the air.

"Well, this is it," Hawkeye said dryly. "We're going to be flown to some desert and vaporized."

He scanned the interior of the craft. Familiar. He'd flown in dozens like it. Maybe there was a way out.

"Don't give up yet," said Coulson, eyes fixed on Agent K in the pilot's seat. "She doesn't seem like Hydra."

"Doesn't seem like it?" Sharon asked. "She just walked us out without so much as a whisper of resistance. That looks exactly like Hydra to me."

"She's definitely enhanced," Sharon added, eyeing the cabin. "If we want to get out of this alive, we need a plan—and maybe a way to breach the hull."

But Coulson ignored her, choosing instead to speak up. "Ma'am, may I ask where you're taking us?"

Agent K glanced down at the dashboard. "Warsaw, Poland. We've arrived."

What?

Everyone in the cabin looked at each other, confused.

Then the Quinjet decelerated, gently hovered, and touched down with a subtle jolt.

Agent K stood, picked up a handful of tactical knives, and dropped them on the floor.

"Take Nick Fury and leave. The Hydra operation is now under Men in Black control."

"Men in Black?" the others echoed, baffled.

They exchanged confused stares. None of them had ever heard of such a group.

But then again, they hadn't realized S.H.I.E.L.D. had been crawling with Hydra either.

So… maybe it wasn't that surprising?

Okay, no—it was still insane.

Two days ago, S.H.I.E.L.D. had been the world's top intelligence agency. Now they looked like amateurs in someone else's game.

"Ma'am, is there anything we can do to assist?" Coulson asked politely.

"No need," Agent K said without turning.

She pulled the briefcase open, twisted a series of latches, and dark segmented armor unfolded and snapped into place around her body.

The armor hugged her frame perfectly, a seamless blend of flexibility and power. The transformation was swift. From elegant agent to silent warrior—she looked like something out of a futuristic battlefield.

Jets flared to life on her back and feet, and within seconds, Agent K shot into the sky, vanishing above.

"Okay… did Tony Stark make that?" Hawkeye gawked.

At this point, everyone knew Iron Man's tech was uniquely his. But this? This was new.

"She's flying back to the Helicarrier? Judging by the flight time, we're still close to its coordinates," said Hill.

"We need to move," she added. "Get out of here, regroup, and stop Hydra."

Hill was already untying herself using one of the knives.

The others followed quickly, freeing each other and waking up Fury with a slap.

They rushed out of the Quinjet… only to see the massive Helicarrier hovering directly overhead, close enough to see its underbelly.

Everyone stared in disbelief.

"…Motherf***er," Hawkeye muttered.

---

The Helicarrier loomed just a thousand meters above the city.

At that altitude, its massive frame was visible to every citizen below. Even the gun ports could be seen, casting ominous shadows on the buildings.

Warsaw had descended into full-blown chaos.

Just like the other two cities beneath the Helicarriers, it was in the grip of panic.

All lanes—left, right, on-ramps and highways—were jammed with fleeing vehicles. Even in Poland's most meticulously planned city, every exit route was choked.

Flying out was supposed to be the best option. But it was too late.

Tickets had sold out instantly, snapped up by the elite before ordinary citizens even realized the danger.

Hydra didn't care. Privilege meant nothing to them.

Any aircraft that tried to lift off beneath the Helicarrier received a warning. If they didn't comply, the anti-aircraft guns opened fire.

Within minutes, every flight that had dared to take off returned to the airport, grounded by force.

Those wealthy few who had scrambled to escape—with boxes of cash, documents, or even artwork—were now spilling out of the terminals alongside airport staff.

But the exits were blocked.

Desperate people who'd missed their flights or hoped to hijack a departing one had swarmed the area. Vehicles packed the roads. Movement had stopped completely.

Warsaw was paralyzed.

And above them all, the Helicarrier hovered like a sword, ready to fall.
