Hyuga Gakuya stood expressionless, his tone cold as he spoke.

"Raikage. This is the price of war. But right now, we share a common enemy. We must set aside our hatred."

The Fourth Raikage wasn't listening. He roared, "A common enemy? My greatest enemy right now… is YOU!"

"So our esteemed Raikage has no intention of cooperating with me," Gakuya replied, his eyes flaring with killing intent. "Then I'll just kill you and negotiate with your replacement."

Sensing the tension explode, Shikamaru stepped forward with Naruto, trying to defuse the situation.

"Raikage-sama, now is not the time for infighting. We need unity if we're going to face what's coming."

Naruto clapped Gakuya on the back, trying to calm him down.

"Easy, Mokushū. The Raikage just doesn't know what really happened."

The Fourth Raikage glared at them, chest heaving, fury burning in his eyes. But after a moment—and with everyone urging him to calm down—he finally forced himself to suppress his rage. The murderous look in his eyes, however, didn't fade in the slightest.

Gakuya's gaze remained icy as he took a step forward. Above the Raikage's head, golden light gathered, condensing into a long black spear of Truth-Seeking Orbs that shot downward.

The Raikage instantly activated his Lightning Release Armor at full power—but even that couldn't stop the spear's terrifying pressure.

The spear halted just inches from the top of his head. Sweat poured from the Raikage's face as his breathing grew ragged. He knew—had Gakuya truly meant to kill him, he'd already be dead.

"Remember this—I'm giving you one chance to prove yourself. Cross the line again…" Gakuya left the rest unsaid, but everyone in the room got the message loud and clear. He then withdrew the Truth-Seeking Spear.

The Fourth Raikage clenched his jaw but said nothing more. He understood that throwing a tantrum now would only harm Kumogakure in the long run.

The room fell into heavy silence, the atmosphere so thick it could suffocate.

Shikamaru broke the tension first. Brow furrowed, he said,

"Now that we've cooled off a bit, let's get to the point—how do we deal with what's coming? Uchiha Obito is still out there, waiting for a moment of weakness. We need to unite."

Naruto quickly nodded in agreement. "Yeah! We've gotta work together now—no more fighting among ourselves!"

Jiraiya stepped forward.

"The Eight-Tails' Jinchuriki has already been captured. I hope you'll come with us to Konoha to prepare for the battles ahead."

"We need to call a new Six-Nation Summit…"

He glanced at Gakuya, silently asking for approval. Gakuya gave a nod, so Jiraiya continued.

"We'll discuss strategies to deal with this new enemy. Things have changed."

The Raikage said nothing, staring hard at Gakuya. He still couldn't bring himself to trust this man who had just joined the alliance. And he didn't want to speak further in front of him.

But he couldn't say so outright—he could only protest in silence.

Since the Raikage had never traveled to Konoha, he didn't yet know that Hyuga Gakuya was, in fact, the second persona of Chiba Mokushū, the Supreme Leader of the Shinobi Federation.

Gakuya didn't press the issue. A show of strength once was enough.

"If you're referring to the so-called Eight-Tails Jinchuriki that was captured being a fake," Gakuya said, "and that the real one is still alive… then yes. I already know."

The Raikage was visibly shaken.

How does he know that? He had personally hidden Killer B away. That information should have been impossible to uncover.

Just then, a Kumo shinobi burst in, face pale with panic.

"Raikage-sama! Bad news—the tracking unit has been almost entirely wiped out! We also detected traces of space-time ninjutsu. The enemy vanished into thin air!"

Everyone was shocked. Gakuya frowned deeply.

"It's him. Uchiha Obito. He took Uchiha Sasuke and Hoshigaki Kisame. He's probably recruited them already. We need to be cautious."

The Fourth Raikage didn't understand what was happening anymore. Why was Obito suddenly working with the Akatsuki again? Still, he forced himself upright, his voice resolute.

"No matter who it is, Kumogakure won't fall so easily again!"

"The enemy has already made their move. We can't afford any more delays," Gakuya declared.

"Shikamaru, explain what happened in Konoha to him. Then come with me—we're holding the Six-Nation Summit in the village."

"Understood." Shikamaru nodded without hesitation.

"I'll go after Obito and the others," Gakuya said as he walked toward the door. "I'll return to Konoha within the day."

Just as he stepped through the doorway, he paused.

"I'm going to join the battle against Uchiha Obito myself and prove my intentions through action," he said without turning back. "But let me make this perfectly clear—if anyone dares act against the unity of the Shinobi World during this time…"

The entire room was frozen. You could've heard a needle drop.

Without another word, Gakuya stepped through the doorway and vanished.

The moment he left, the room sank into a heavy silence.

Shikamaru took a deep breath and began explaining the recent events in Konoha. As the Raikage listened, his face grew darker and darker.

There was a lot to take in—but the most shocking part wasn't even the truth about Chiba Mokushū being Hyuga Gakuya's other self.

No—it was the Rinne Rebirth technique.

The idea that someone could resurrect the dead using a dōjutsu was staggering. If he could get his hands on the Rinnegan… then maybe, just maybe, he could bring his fallen comrades back to life.

No wonder Gakuya was in such a hurry to track down Obito.

But if Gakuya knew what the Raikage was thinking, he'd only sneer at such short-sightedness.

He already had the Rinnegan. And even if you managed to obtain one, how exactly would you resurrect someone who had been dead for years?

Gakuya had left to make final preparations—for the resurrection of Rin and Nonō Yakushi—and to fully seize control over both Obito and Kabuto Yakushi.

Elsewhere, Obito returned to a mountain cave with Kisame, Sasuke, and Kabuto.

He stared at Sasuke grimly. "I know it's hard to accept. But the truth is right in front of you."

With a wave of his hand, Kabuto stepped forward and revealed Nagato's corpse.

Sasuke's eyes widened in disbelief. "This… this can't be real…"

He knew who Nagato was. He'd heard it all from Gakuya. This was the wielder of the Rinnegan—the second strongest shinobi in the world after Gakuya himself. And now… his lifeless body lay before him.

Obito's tone was cold. "This is your proof. Nagato was killed by Hyuga Gakuya. He betrayed our cause. He betrayed the Akatsuki."

Kisame stood off to the side, frowning in thought.

Kabuto seized the moment. "Now you see, Sasuke. Gakuya has abandoned us all. He's only in it for himself."

Sasuke clenched his fists, his knuckles going white. "Why? Why would he do this?"

He didn't want to believe it. He had trusted Gakuya. He had believed in him. But now… Gakuya was standing on the other side of his vengeance.

Obito's eyes gleamed with cunning.

"Maybe he has bigger ambitions now. Maybe the Five Great Nations corrupted him. But no matter the reason, we can't let him destroy our plan."

Sasuke's mind was in turmoil. Doubt and pain gnawed at his convictions.

Kisame finally asked, "So what now?"

Obito replied darkly, "We consolidate our strength. The Eye of the Moon Plan must go on. Sasuke—if you truly want revenge, you'll need to fight beside us."

Sasuke looked up, eyes burning with hatred and determination.

"Fine. I'll join you. But if either of you dares deceive me…"

He didn't finish the sentence—but the threat in his voice was crystal clear.

The cave filled with heavy tension as the group began plotting their next move.
