Chapter Four: Deal Of Blood And Chains.

Kai's eyes snapped open, he had weakly laid in bed till he fell asleep.

He gets off the bed to the mirror. He sees himself pale than ever and bruised with different bite marks.

He turns to Merthur who sat in a chair nearby, sipping blood calmly from a crystal glass, watching him like he had sat there for long.

"You are a monster", Kai said glaring at him. "And you are my cute, pet"

Merthur stood up, slowly walked towards him.

"I learnt about your sister, had someone go check. Her name is Nora, right?"

"Don't even try going near her, I wouldn't forgive you", he glares at Merthur.

"Fierce, graaww. I like it", he laughed..

"That poor girl. You can actually save her if you really want to"

"What about full payment for her treatment, a private doctor to take care of her, a new apartment for her security", Methur proposed.

"In exchange for what?"

"In exchange for you. Your obedience, your submission, your blood", merthur said calmly gripping Kai's chin to make him look into his red eyes.

"I'd rather die than be your pet", he scoffed, removing Merthur's grip on his chin.

"That's good. So you'd rather have your sister die, wouldn't you?", Merthur tilted his head, studying Kai's with cold curiosity.

"That's not…sigh", Kai took a deep breath. The memories of his sister came flooding back.

If being a slave was going to save Nora from dying then so be it.

His head fell forward, tears in his eyes. "I hate you", he whispered.

"You could hate me all you want, so far you provide me blood and you stick by my rules", he smirks.

"Here's a new phone, only my number is on it and that's how it's going to be."

Merthur hands a new iphone to Kai. Kai slowly takes it.

"Call me anytime you need anything. I would be living off you so why don't you leech off me too. I have a lot of money to throw around", he smiles then pecks Kai by the cheek.

He snapped his finger, staff came in, bringing designer clothes, shoes and accessories. Bows to Kai and leaves quickly.

Kai looks around confused. Merthur must have been so intimidating to the staff that even the staff was fearful and respected him as a guest.

"You should change that filthy rag you are in, right in front of me", he whispered into Kai's ear.

Kai notices the clothes were warm and was actually his size.

"How did you know my size?"

"I could tell by looking at you. You should always look beautiful and presentable for me", slowly stroking Kai's hair.

Merthur adjusts the collar on Kai's neck.

"I will be responsible for you from now on. You don't leave the house unless I want you to. You can't talk to anybody but me. You obey whatever I say. Is that clear, pet?", he asked in a dominating tone.

"Yes sir", Kai whispers, clutching his hands by his side.

"You are mine now, and I take care of what is mine".

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in", Merthur yelled.

A black suited vampire guard walked in.

"Sir, you were summoned by the vampire. It seems urgent and the call for your immediate presence"

"It's okay, you can leave.I will be there soon."

The guard bows to him and Kai then leaves.

"Those old vampires and their rules annoy me", Merthur scoffed.

Kai has never seen this expression on Merthur before. Was it that of fear?

"They are probably summoning me because of you. Your blood might be something they fear"

"What?, I don't understand", Kai looks at him confused.

"You aren't an Omega, but a Beta, right?"

"Yes. I disgusted as Omega to the auction. I was never an Omega.", Kai bowed his head as he whispered.

"The council might want me to eliminate you but I would protect you instead."

"What!. What do they want from me? What am I to them", Kai asked. Eyes widened from fear.

Merthur takes his hand, his sharp fangs blaring out.

"You don't have to worry. They will never come close to you".

He sank his fangs into Kai's wrist, the power of the blood ran through him like an electric shock. Kai winches from the pain but somehow enjoys this.

This time, Merthur heals his wounds by licking them till they are covered.

Merthur goes to the door. "I have to leave now, I will take care of everything. Stick by my rules too"

He leaves slamming the door behind him. Leaving Kai in the luxurious room.

"What have I got myself into?", his nails digging through his hair.

Then…

His phone rings, with an "Unknown" display on the screen.
