Chapter: Mark Me As Yours Forever

Kai slowly opens his eyes, regaining consciousness, his pupils and eyes glassy with ears. His pheromones filled the air.

Merthur leans over him. "Are you okay, Kai? Can you hear me?"

Kai groans from pain, digging his nails into the sheets, a soft moan escaping his lips.

"Make it stop, it's hurt", he looked at Merthur with eyes begging for help.

"You are being forced into heat. It's kind of weird but the doctor detected you being exhausted would send you into heat. A beta shouldn't experience this much heat"

Kai turns away from him. "Don't touch me, I hate you so much. Everything about you"

Merthur jaws tighten, fighting the control of Kai pheromone spikes.

"Dint be too stubborn and give in to me, before it kills you", Merthur grabs him by his arm.

Kai was beginning to smell too sweet for Merthur to resist, making Merthur's fangs reveal.

Kai tries to crawl away but gets immediately pinned down gently and firmly. Merthur was going to mark him, he was going to be tied to this monster for the rest of his life.

"Please don't…don't", Kai begs weakly.

"You can hate me later but this is the only way for you to live", Merthur whispered.

He bites into his wrist, then forcefully places it on Kai's lips. Kai resisted at first, but Merthur's blood tasted so much better than anything blood he had ever tasted, making him lungs at it, drinking desperately.

Kai shudders, trembling, heat radiating his body, clutching to Merthur's wrist like his life depends on it.

Kai collapsed, falling asleep almost immediately. Merthur, who is breathing heavily, traces of blood around his mouth, kisses Kai on his forehead, brushing his hair.
