Ascension of the Monster Queen

The demon lord's eyes narrowed and they got up and went to the window of the throne room and their eyes narrowed s they looked directly into the city, their eyes scanning to see where the energy came from and Nessa's eyes narrowed.

She knew that she caught the demon lord's attention but what would happen next, she left that to fate to decide, choosing the path she knew she had to in order to survive and making sure her people survived even if it meant accepting part of the darkness within her, which she sensed was strong but didn't care nor had any intention of pushing it aside.

Nessa tied her hair up and placed a mask on then looked at the demon with a smirk.

"Act as me...I don't want them to know just yet, can you do that?" She asked as she looked at the demon and his eyes narrowed as he looked at her, knowing she had more than just one plan in her mind and he chuckled.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked and she chuckled then nodded and he sighed then fixed himself up.

She fixed his hair, which was slightly long and suited his sharp facial features and the presence he gave off felt like that of a leader.

"Hmm, I have to say you can pass as a real leader," She said.

"Thank you, my lady," He replied and she scoffed.

"Let's go to the castle, we got their attention, now to trigger it a bit more, there is a barrier around the castle, we need to pass through it without the demon lord's permission, that will rile them up a bit more," She said and he glanced at her with his eyes narrowed, wondering how far ahead she had planned.

Both of us approached that castle and the demon guards looked at us and they all went on alert as both of us laced our hands on the barrier and the demons exchanged glances before a commotion within the castle started and the demon lord's eyes narrowed when they heard.

Both of us walked through the barrier, entering the castle yard and the demons rushed to attack us but the demon by her side, sent them crashing across the ground with his eyes glowing red as he glared at them with a piercing and cold gaze and she glanced at him.

We entered the lavish castle and the demon guards stood aside since they had no choice but to let them pass and they pointed in the direction of the demon lord was in.

Both of them headed to the throne room and upon pushing the door open, they entered and the demon lord looked at them with a piercing red gaze and Nessa saw it was a guy and her eyes narrowed as they approached him and he stood up with a heavy presence.

The tension in the air was palpable and their presence was just as strong as his, which made him curious about the two strangers that just barged into his castle and his eyes narrowed.

"Who are you?" He asked in a stern and curious tone and the demon stepped forward.

"Have you heard of the new nation which was mixed with monsters and there were humans as well?" The demon asked him and the demon lord's eyes narrowed as he looked at them then the demon nodded.

"Well, I am the leader of that nation," The demon said and Nessa smiled a little, seeing he was doing well with the plan so far.

Upon hearing what the demon said the demon lord's brows furrowed as he looked at both of them with an intense gaze and Nessa looked right back at him as did the demon and a smirk appeared on the demon lord's face as he stood up, with a strong aura surrounding him.

"I see... So what brings you to my home and that too uninvited and like barbarians?" He asked with an amused tone and the demon grinned.

"Well, you are the type that doesn't really accept requests to come and see you so we had to make sure you would have the time for our visit, which you seem to have a lot on your hand," The demon said with a smirk and the demon lord's eyes narrowed at his wit.

"Is that so? Well congratulations, you got my attention now, to what do I owe the honor?" He asked with his eyes narrowed and the demon approached him with an intimidating aura as well.

"We are here for information about a few things, which may interest you as well since it is now becoming a serious threat, even for the demon lords," He responded and with that, he fully captured the full attention of the demon lord.

"Okay, now you have got my attention, take a seat and speak what you want to and need to and I will listen to what both of you have to say, but if by chance this is all a waste of time then I will have both of you pay for it..." He said to them and they exchanged glances with each other then Nessa nodded.

'Right now we have to listen and make sure we get what we want as well, though we can't leave immediately after that or things won't be so nice but, something is slightly off here and I can sense it,' Nessa thought and the demon nodded then looked at him.

"Are you willing or not?" The demon lord asked and they sighed then took their seats in the opposite direction.

"Yes, we are willing to cooperate as well and answer whatever question you may have if you promise to give us what we want after," The demon said.

"Fine by me, I am a being of my word there is no need to get worked up, I will give you what you need," He replied with a smirk and an amused yet sincere tone.

After that, they began talking about the enemies and only giving him the information that was relevant and necessary, in order to get him to see things their way and he listened carefully to what was being said to him.
