Yu Miaomiao was betting on this very limit. She thought that as long as she could push Bai Meiyue to her limit, the woman would lose her strength to fight. Lu Jingguo turned to the telescopic ability user, who shook his head. He had a gloomy expression on his face as he said, "Fox is quite sly. He didn't tell anything to Yu Miaomiao but that is only because he knows nothing about our plans. He is also wavering between keeping his loyalty to Yu Miaomiao and betraying her. He must be trying to see if we are even capable of doing what he suspects. Only when he becomes sure that we can take down Yu Miaomiao will he open his mouth."
"I did try to track him, but he is as wily as a fox and won't give up anything unless he gets a definite answer."
Fox was the tipping stone of the power struggle; if only he opened his mouth, then they would get an answer to all of their questions.

You are forgetting that most of them are pregnant women, children and the elderly. There are hardly any young ones."
Lu Jingguo was certain that he wouldn't be able to deal with any of them.
"Send them all to Bai Meiyue," replied Bai Feng. He glanced at the penthouse; even though he couldn't see anything clearly, he could see many elderly people and children playing in the rooftop greenhouse. There were also nurses and doctors to take care of the pregnant women and infants. With Bai Meiyue by their side, these people wouldn't have to worry about anything. Nor would the ability users focus on their pregnant wives, old parents or children, with them being safe and sound.
With the ability users focusing on the war, they would be sure to win.
"But they are living right across," said Lu Jingguo with a frown. "Even if we move the hostages to her care, it won't take long for Yu Miaomiao to find them."
"They are moving," said Bai Feng. With his hands behind his back, he stared out of the window. "Yu Miaomiao believes that Bai Meiyue will never leave the base, but she underestimated her. Bai Meiyue will never submit to someone just because she feels afraid. She is someone who is willing to fight to death if worst comes to worst; do you think that she will stay back?"
