Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies

The deaths of these children were something that the parents were not expecting. They had been expecting their kids to become strong just like those nephews of Bai Meiyue, but when it didn't happen, they started to blame Bai Meiyue. These parents believed that Bai Meiyue was the one who hid something from them and which caused the death of their children.

"I am not going to let this matter go!" said a woman who was beyond aggrieved after losing her son. She wiped her eyes and then said to the other parents, "Bai Meiyue caused our children to die; she has to give us an explanation. It was she who started this, so she must end it!"

"Either she needs to give us a lifetime of supplies or raise us under her command!"

When the woman finished speaking, the other parents also stirred. This was indeed right! If Bai Meiyue hadn't given them this idea, would they have done it? It was her fault!

Thus, the parents who lost their children rushed to the penthouse where Bai Meiyue lived. The force with which they went looking for her was as if they were looking for someone who had ripped their ancestral graves apart.

"Bai Meiyue! Come out!"

"Come out, you bitch. Come out!"

"You killed our children; you need to take responsibility for it. You cannot hide inside and ignore us when you should be taking responsibility for this."

Bai Meiyue was sleeping in her room when she heard the loud bangings and screaming voices. At first, she wanted to ignore them, but the more she ignored them, the louder their voices became; in the end, she snapped her eyes open and stared at the ceiling for a whole two minutes. Soon, Bai Meiyue realised the gist of the situation and laughed out loud.

Pay them back? Then she was going to pay them back. It seemed like these people had gone crazy due to the lack of food and water. Now they were even speaking nonsense! She got up and then came down from the bed. Her expression was not good when she opened the door and walked out of the room.

"Yueyue, why did you wake up?" When Bai Jixuan saw his sister coming out, he couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed. He should have kicked those people out before his sister woke up!

"How can I not get up when those people are making such a fuss?" Bai Meiyue sneered. She walked down the stairs and yawned with her arms stretched over her head. She glanced at the clock on the wall and sighed. It was not even seven yet.

She huffed before turning around and walking out of the house. However, before leaving, she took a chainsaw that was sitting in the storeroom of the penthouse. And to make matters easier, she even turned it on.

"Bai Meiyue—"

CRRRR!

Bai Meiyue opened the door, and the sound of the chainsaw echoed in the corridor, causing people to stumble backwards the second they saw what was going on. They didn't expect that Bai Meiyue would jump on them without even giving them a chance to say what they wanted to. The crowd looked at one another before turning to look at Bai Meiyue.

"You – what are you doing?" One of the women couldn't help but ask.

"This should be my question," sneered Bai Meiyue. She didn't even know how many times she had said the same word again and again. She blinked her eyes and stared at the people in front of her before saying to them, "Why are you yelling in front of my door? Do you think that I will let you bark for me if you yell so loudly like this?"

The faces of the men and women turned green when they heard the words of Bai Meiyue. They didn't need to think with their toes to know that the woman was calling them dogs!

"You —"

"What you?" Bai Meiyue arched a brow and stared at the people in front of her. She didn't want to listen to their crying; that was the only reason she came out of her house; if not, she would have stayed in and let them cry their hearts out. "Do you even know what the time is at the moment? How dare you come here and yell at me at the top of your lungs?"

"You bitch! How dare you say such things! Do you even know what you have done? You killed our children. You better give us an explanation, or else we will not leave you alone," a woman yelled at Bai Meiyue with her finger pointing at Bai Meiyue.

Bai Meiyue stared at the woman who was yelling at her and curled her lips. She sighed and said, "How many times do I have to tell you? Do not point your fingers at me."

And before the woman could pull her hand back, she took a swipe at her outstretched hand. The scent of blood bloomed all over the corridor, and a bloody hand dropped on the floor.

Screams tore through the roof as the woman who had her hand cut off clutched her severed wrist and looked at Bai Meiyue. Her face was pale and covered with horror as she stared at the woman who was like a devil. "You—how could you—?"

"How can I not?" Bai Meiyue sneered. She tilted her head to one side and then said to the woman, as well as the rest of the crowd that had come to stand in front of her house, "Are you really going to blame me for something that was done by you guys? Think it through before making a fuss in front of me. Did I ask you to send your children outside? Did I ask you all to make them fight the zombies? That's on you. You were the ones who did it when you knew that your children might die in the hands of zombies. How can you blame me, of all people?"
