Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies

For a woman who had destroyed an entire base even when she was shot a total of twenty times, madness was her old friend. She could do anything when it came to her son. She had ruined everything once, and she could do it all over again. Yu Miaomiao might not even know, but this base of hers was not even half as big and strong as the ones Bai Meiyue had destroyed.

Of course, if she were to throw caution to the wind, Bai Meiyue was certain that it would take less than three hours for her to destroy everything here.

But she wouldn't because of her son.

"If you think that my child is a leverage that you can use, then you are right, but you are forgetting one thing," Bai Meiyue coldly spat. "My child is also your life-saving talisman. As long as he is alive and safe, you all will stay alive. If you dare to threaten him or put his life in danger, then I will kill you all."

Bai Meiyue was not a murderer, but she turned into one after her son died. She killed whoever she could as long as they were connected to the death of her son. Even if it was a truck driver who drove the truck filled with the kidnapped children of the ability user. Everyone had to die.

It was only after she got her son back that Bai Meiyue started to act like a human being with more emotions than just rage. However, her condition for letting people stay alive was simple. Lu Yin stepped back step by step. Her face had turned deathly pale, and all the traces of blood had disappeared. A layer of sweat covered her back and forehead. Even though the weather was cold, she was dripping and covered with sweat. She knew that Bai Meiyue was really strong, but she didn't want to accept it, which was why she acted and pretended to ignore it, as she didn't want to accept that the woman was better than her in more than just one way.

However, as Bai Meiyue stepped close to her with her water energy pressing down on her heavily, Lu Yin realised that the woman was not someone she could offend. It was simply foolishness on her part to think that Bai Meiyue would be easily controlled because of the child in her belly.

Her feet caught on something, and Lu Yin dropped to the floor, but she didn't dare to raise her head and look at Bai Meiyue anymore. The terror that she felt at the moment was no joke. She couldn't even breathe with Bai Meiyue suppressing her down like this. It was as if she were drowning, and the feeling was really terrifying.

Bai Meiyue had approached Lu Yin. She ignored the way Chief Lin was screaming at her and telling her to let Lu Yin off or else he would make her suffer. She crouched down until she was on eye level with the woman and caught hold of Lu Yin's jaw. She didn't hold back on her strength, and it made Lu Yin wince, as she could almost feel her jaw snapping.

"Now, tell me," said Bai Meiyue as she stared at the woman in front of her. "This idea, did it come from Yu Miaomiao? Is she planning to use my child as leverage to control me and Lei Qian?"

When Lu Yin didn't speak, Bai Meiyue sneered and said to her, "Lu Yin, don't think that just because you are Lu Yu's sister, I will be kind to you. I told you the last time, didn't I? If you dare to act like a demon, then I will show you what it means to be a demon."

"Speak before I crush your jaw."

"Y–Yes.." Lu Yin was really scared now. Earlier, she thought that Bai Meiyue would at least let her off because of her brother, but now, looking at her stern gaze, she realised that she was hoping for too much. Bai Meiyue was simply a demon; she didn't even care about her brother.

Sure enough. It was just as she guessed. Yu Miaomiao was targeting her son just like her mentor. In her past life, Yu Miaomiao didn't become the chief of the base, and thus, she survived long enough to become part of her mentor's team.

"I see; I should have expected something like this to happen," sneered Bai Meiyue as she reached out and created an ice dagger before placing it on Lu Yin's neck. She said to her, "What should I do, eh, Lu Yin? Should I kill you and send your corpse back to Yu Miaomiao? That way, she will know better than to stir shit in front of me."

Though Bai Meiyue planned to wait for Lei Qian to first find a way to get close to Yu Miaomiao and kill her, she was really angry now. When she thought about how these people were trying to use her son. They actually dared to point a machine gun at her belly. She was so angry that she wanted to kill these three people here today. As long as she could send a good message to Yu Miaomiao, the rest of the troubles would be worth it.

"No, please! Please don…don't kill me," said Lu Yin as she started to beg the woman in front of her. "I will never dare to do this again… please let me off…"
