When he woke up, he realized that he could see people or zombies in his mind.

It was like he had a digital map in his head that showed people or zombies as small colored dots.

The zombies were represented by red dots while humans were green dots.

However, humans were also divided into two. Ordinary humans were represented by the green dots while superpower users appeared in blue dots.

At first he didn't understand what was happening and he even freaked out thinking that he was going crazy.

But when he heard about superpower users and read the things that were being shared online before the internet collapsed, he realized that he had awakened a spiritual-type superpower.

He just didn't know where or how to use it.

It wasn't until the supplies his wife had insisted on buying started to dwindle that he decided to go out and search for supplies that he found how useful his superpower was.

He could avoid zombies and other people if he wanted to. It was only a pity that there were too many zombies outside and avoiding them completely was impossible.

He could only strive to avoid places with many zombies.

That's how he had managed to get some supplies for his family and prevented them from starving to death.

But recently, zombies had increased and supplies were dwindling in their surroundings, especially after the floods.

That was why when he was called by a friend and told that there was a group that had been organized to get a lot of supplies, he had agreed to join.

What he had not expected was that these people were planning on robbing the most dangerous building around.

He had heard that the scary people weren't around but he didn't believe for a second that they didn't leave behind protection measures for the people left in the building.

He wasn't going to risk getting killed for some supplies. It was better to continue scavenging solo.

His son still needed his guidance in using his superpower as well.

When his seven-year-old son had woken up from the fever, he had been blowing things away without knowing.

His son had awakened a wind-type superpower and over the last few months, he had taught him how to control it.

Even though this was new to him as well, he could only act as a guardian because he was the only other person with superpowers in the house.

Now that he knew what Fu Nie and Yang Leo were planning, he wanted to follow them and pick up some leftovers for his family to survive on.

"I have to go before the car leaves and I won't be able to know where they went.

Make sure to lock the doors honey and take care of the children." Zhu Feng said to his wife and pushed his motorcycle outside.

They lived on the thirteenth floor and he had to push the motorcycles down the stairs.

It took him a while and by the time he got to the ground floor, he was almost collapsing but he didn't have time to waste.

He pushed the motorcycle a distance away from the community first because he didn't want to attract unnecessary attention before starting it and heading towards the suburbs.

When he reached a place with crossroads, he stopped and parked his bike in a hidden spot.

He didn't have to wait for long before he saw a modified car and a truck coming towards his direction.

Even though there was no longer electricity and it was a dark night, Zhu Feng could still make out the cars coming his way.

This was another thing he realized had to do with his superpower. He could see better than other people even in the dark.

He waited until the two cars had gone some distance before following them from a distance.

He also used his map to scan the area and realized that there were two other cars behind, but they were a bit far.

The map in his head had started small and he could only scan a part of their living community, but as he practiced and used it more, it continued to expand.

When he heard about the use of crystal cores, he had also gone out to kill zombies and obtained some. He had also exchanged a few with others for some food.
