Chapter 175: Chapter 159: Nagi Playing Z-Man 2

After beating Kagami Jigen in the first stage, Nagi eagerly continued playing Choujin Sentai Z-Man. The second stage was drastically different from the urban landscape of the first. This time, the setting was a dense jungle, filled with lurking Grinam enemies. Among them was a new type of foe: Grinam Flies, small bug-like creatures that crawled on the ground and out of reach, requiring crouch attacks to strike.

The stage proved to be significantly more challenging. Nagi encountered hidden traps that inflicted poison status, slowly draining health over time. He gritted his teeth and pushed through, dodging pitfalls and hacking his way through waves of enemies. Eventually, he reached the mini-boss: Grinam Snake Hands.

This grotesque creature had venomous snakes in place of hands, which lashed out with deadly precision. As Nagi fought, a red orb appeared—a chance to unleash his super move.

"Time for Rocco Endan!" Nagi cheered as he grabbed the orb and quickly input the command. But to his shock, Grinam Snake Hands crossed its snake arms, forming a defensive stance. The fire attack "Rocco Rendan" barely chipped away 10% of its health!

"WHAT?! It blocked it? Damn!" Nagi's eyes widened. This was a clear lesson: special moves couldn't be used carelessly, next time Nagi needs to wait for the opening to appear!.

Adjusting his strategy, Nagi struck from a distance, carefully avoiding the poisonous fangs. After several well-timed strikes, the boss momentarily froze, leaving itself open.

"This is the moment I should've used my super…" Nagi sighed. Still, he just charged his sword and landed a heavy charged attack, finishing the battle.

Advancing further, Nagi reached the second stage boss: Faighta Jigen, a jet-like humanoid with mechanical wings that allowed it to transform into a fighter jet mid-battle.

"Whoa, cheeky!" Nagi muttered as the boss fired homing missiles while zooming across the screen.

After a tough battle, Nagi finally defeated Faighta Jigen. As expected, the enemy grew larger, triggering the next phase.

"Gattai time!" Nagi grinned as Z-Red shouted on-screen: "Z-Man! Gattai!"

A cinematic cutscene played, assembling the mighty Z-Gattai: Guren Tsuyojin. With newfound strength, Nagi battled the giant form of Faighta Jigen. The mecha combat was intense, with heavy melee attacks and missile barrages. In the end, Z-Kouha! annihilated the enemy, clearing Round 2.

"Yeah!" Nagi cheered, advancing to Stage 3: The Mountain Range.

This mountainous terrain introduced Grinam Rock, heavily armored enemies that were slow but extremely tough. Their weak spot was their back, requiring quick maneuvers to defeat.

As Nagi progressed, he reached the mini-boss: Grinam Manjaro, a spiked, rolling creature that only stopped momentarily to attack.

Nagi carefully avoided its rolling attacks, saving his red orb for the right moment. But after a few hits, another red orb dropped.

"Huh? Another one?" Nagi muttered as he picked it up. Suddenly, both red orbs above Z-Red's health bar lit up. A new prompt appeared:

Left, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Jump – Chou Hisatsu Waza (2 elemental orbs)

"WHAT?! That input is diabolical!" Nagi groaned.

He failed multiple attempts, barely dodging the rolling boss. Finally, after precise timing, he executed the input.

A spectacular 8-bit cutscene unfolded: Z-Red activated the red orbs on his Z-Changer wristband, filling with a blazing red aura. Leaping into the air, flaming wings sprouted from his back. With a downward slash, he unleashed his super moves and Shout in text "Rocco no Ryuusei!"

A gigantic flaming hawk descended from his sword, exploding on impact and wiping out 50% of Grinam Manjaro's health!

"OH MY GOD! Another super move for two slots? Dang!" Nagi grinned, eyes sparkling with excitement.

Pushing forward, he finally reached the third boss:

The next enemy was Radige, a humanoid with a half-white mask and its head have an alien-like tail. Dressed in a flowing black robe, he exuded an aura of menace and superiority. Unlike previous bosses, Radige actually spoke before the battle began:

"Z-Man! Foolish! Try to fight me, the Count of the Reverse Dimension! Now, meet your demise!"

The fight began with Radige firing three consecutive energy beams, followed by a head tail swipe attack. His ability to teleport made him even harder to predict. On top of that, he had a charged beam attack from his grotesque head-tail.

"Whew, this guy is tough!" Nagi muttered.

After an intense fight, Radige's health was finally depleted. But just as expected, he transformed into his giant form!

Nagi grinned. "Time for Gattai!"

The cutscene played as Z-Gattai Guren Tsuyojin assembled once more. The battle against giant Radige was fierce, filled with powerful energy blasts and devastating melee clashes.

Finally, as Radige's health hit zero, instead of the usual Z-Kouha, a new finishing move prompt appeared:

Left, Down, Right, O

Nagi quickly inputted the command, and the screen transitioned to a new cutscene. Z-RED shouted: "Everyone, Jigen-Kiri no Yaiba! Jigen-Ba!"Gurren Tsuyoijin gathered energy in its helicopter hands, forming a glowing energy weapon. The text flashed:

"It's over! JIGENGIRI!"The giant robot swung the energy blade, striking Radige with a devastating blow. The boss screamed in text: "NO! My Dimension! AAAAAA!" before exploding in a brilliant flash of light.Nagi's eyes lit up. "WHOA! A new skill! This game just keeps getting better!"

With Stage 3 cleared, Nagi was more determined than ever to continue his adventure. The mysterious Z Card and its cryptic message lingered in the back of his mind, hinting at even greater challenges ahead."What's next?" Nagi wondered, grinning from ear to ear as he selected Continue.
