An Oni in God's Valley

Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Guanhao

As the Koa Pirates just slowed down their adventure, they just wanted to relax for a little bit, but then, Koa noticed a World Government vessel, which made him immediately turn his entire vessel invisible.

"Boss? What happened?" Greenbull immediately asked, as he noticed that Koa used a power he had not used for a long time.

"We'll follow that World Government ship. After we reach their destination, we'll rob that place," Koa announced to Greenbull and the others who were also attracted by the attention that Greenbull's question brought.

When the others heard what Koa said, they all became surprised, as they did not think that Koa would be bold enough to start targeting the World Government. But what they did not know was the crimes that Koa committed back in the God Valley—he killed more than a hundred members of the Celestial Dragons. No one knew the crimes that Koa committed—even his closest friends have not yet heard of it.

The Koa Pirates then followed the World Government vessel into an island that was not being detected by the Log Pose that Koa was holding.

"Strange, the Log Pose is not registering that island," Koa said, which made Kuzan and the others look at the Log Pose.

"Are you sure that you want to loot the World Government?" Kuzan then said, which made the others nod toward Kuzan.

"If you don't want to come with me, just go to the Sabaody Archipelago. I'll follow you from here," Koa then said, as he gave them the option of staying out of this kind of mission.

"Hah? Are you looking down on us?" Kuzan then said, as he started walking and unboarding the ship he was on. This made him spotted by the agents, and they immediately started firing toward them. The other members of the Koa Pirates also started unboarding, as they wanted to get a piece of the action themselves, which made Koa smile, as they all seemed to get on board with everything that Koa was planning, not caring if it was dangerous or not.

When Koa and the others unboarded their ship, the agents of the World Government started panicking as they recognized the Koa Pirates.

"What are those monsters doing here? Isn't this island supposed to block the magnetic frequency of a Log Pose?" a Cipher Pol agent said, as he was firing toward the Koa Pirates. But before someone could answer, they were all frozen by Kuzan.

Then the alarm started ringing, as they began informing the army about the intruders that were trespassing on the town.

"KOA PIRATES, YOU ARE ON AN ISLAND THAT IS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE WORLD .GOVERNMENT. LEAVE NOW, OR WE WILL USE FORCE," the speaker sounded, as he wanted to scare Koa to leave, since this island is an important island that the World Government has—it was where they would train their agents from birth.

Koa did not answer but just looked at Kuzan, who already knew what to do. Kuzan then focused, as he used his observation haki to map out the entire area where there were people. Kuzan then suddenly opened his eyes.

"Ice Age," Kuzan said, as he breathed out a cold breath, by which the entire island became covered in frozen solid ice. The visible agents became frozen as well. Then Greenbull started trashing the entirety of the island—he broke the frozen Cipher Pols, effectively killing all of them, with Koa just going toward the highest building that was visible. When he reached the top, he was met by a Cipher Pol 0 agent who was calmly sitting at his table, with a Den Den Mushi in his hands.

"Maui D. Koa, you are making an enemy of the World Government with this kind of action," the CP0 said toward Koa, which he did not rare about.

"Contact the highest official boss you know about. You are someone who is not important," Koa said, to which the CP0 agent smirked.

"If you think that this kind of action would scare me, you are severely underestimating the agents of the World Government," the CP0 said toward Koa.

"Hmmmm, then I guess I would not have any choice but to attack Enies Lobby, Impel Down, and every G-base that I come across to get revenge against the Marines attacking me unprovoked. Good luck then," Koa then said, as he then turned his back toward the CP0.

"You're bluffing," the CP0 just managed to say, to which Koa turned around and looked confused at the CP0.

"I'm bluffing?" Koa said, as if mockingly. But before Koa could leave further, a sound was heard from the Den Den Mushi. It was the Den Den Mushi suddenly forming into a figure that had a mustache that Koa recognized the most—it was the mustache of Topman Warcury, one of the Elders that govern the entire world.

"Maui D. Koa, you are so bold to think that you could get away with a gesture like this," Warcury said toward Koa, with a stern voice that would intimidate those with weak hearts.

"Hmmm, am I really so bold? What if I release a video about the Celestial Dragons massacring an entire populace—would I be bolder at that time?" Koa then directly said, to which the Elder suddenly stopped talking.

"What is it you want?" Warcury then said, as he knew that they could not afford to have this kind of scandal happen around the world. The Marines already lack enough suitable recruits, and if Koa released this, the trust toward the World Government would be even more lacking.

"Nothing. I just want to see the reactions of those people above when someone could threaten them—and I must say, it does feel great in my hearing," Koa just answered.

"How presumptuous. You have been nothing but disrespectful toward our conversation. I have been lenient and patient with you—but I must say that my patience could run out," Warcury then said, as suddenly a loud thunder erupted around the island, as it was suddenly filled with a strange Haki all around it.

What Koa did not know is that while he was talking with Warcury, their conversation was being transferred to the other Den Den Mushi that was connected to the main headquarters of the God's Knights. They are ordered by the Elders to stand by if there's something that needed to be done, and when Koa just threatened them, it became a mark for them to attack against Koa.

In the sigil, seven members of the God's Knights were teleported, and one of them is a figure familiar to Koa—it was the supposed champion of the God Valley, Figarland Garling, the father of Shanks and Shamrock. And with him, six unnamed God's Knights, ready to punish Koa, as they knew that Koa is someone that could not be stopped by ordinary people, and they wanted to investigate the connection of Koa to the deaths of the hundreds of Celestial Dragons, as the power that he showed in his battle against Garp was similar to the one that was used in the massacre.
