Almighty Father System

Lily and Leo entered the bar, and Simon Silence came to meet them. He was surprised to see that Leo brought Lily along. Leo said, "Zeenat, you and Jock will stand behind the bar counter, and Lily will be there along with you. Give her a chair to sit."

The couple exchanged gazes and they nodded, while Leo said to Lily, "Little goblin, you should stay with Uncle Jock and Aunty Zeenat but don't make any noise. If those old people saw you, they would mark you as a target."

Lily raised her brows, and asked, "What kind of target?"

Leo said, "A target that can be used as a means to threaten baba, or Ma if we do something they don't like. The reason you are here is to see, and understand how this world works."

Lily nodded, and agreed to sit quietly. She had indeed come here to learn and that was all. The set up was complete, and the guards that Leo had brought along with him were all hiding in the shadows. They had the guns and thus they were his trump cards. He was so cautious that he had posted a couple of people on all the exit and entry points that lead to the pub.

They were keeping vigil quietly and if they spotted any suspicious person. Leo sat down on the couch in the center of the bar, and then he saw several chairs and tables placed in an arrangement from where he could see the people.

He turned to look at Simon and said, "You've done a good job."

Then Simon received a message on the walkie and said, "There are seven people coming over, tonight, they are chosen as the representatives by all the people involved in this issue."

Leo nodded and said, "Good, dim the lightning even more, and wait till I tell you to reveal me. Have them all sit down and have a drink first. I want to see what their attitude is like."

Simon nodded and then cast a gaze at his lackey and the arrangements were made. After a few minutes, several people walked inside the bar, they all wore suits, and their hands were adorned with luxury.

Lily peeked from behind the counter of the bar, before she ducked back in. The bar was on the side, and thus the old people didn't pay much attention. However, they could sense that the place was heavily guarded.

The old man in the lead asked, "Mister Silence, what sort of tactic is this? Calling us over to a secluded bar, with your men guarding every corner as if it's a prison."

Simon Silence smiled and replied, "Chairman Haul, you don't expect me to trust you this much, right? After all, the issue at hand is very delicate."

After a pause, Simon said, "Have a seat, you can order any drink that you may like, my boss would be over in a few minutes."

He gestured for the old men to sit down, and the staff from the bar stepped up to ask what they would like. The drinks were ordered, and even now, none of the people sensed Leo, who was sitting on the couch, watching them all calmly. Every few seconds, Leo would turn to look at the Bar counter, and sure enough, he found Lily watching the scene calmly.

One of the old men said, "I didn't expect that someone like you would have a boss holding your leash, Simon Silence."

Simon Silence's smile faded a little, at this moment Leo's voice sounded, "Everyone has to answer someone, Old Man Leda, just like you have to answer me today."

His voice was calm but the words were intimidating and commanding. Simon gazed at the lackey again and the lights above the couch were turned on. Leo appeared in the line of sight, and it surprised the people.

Leo looked at the man who was speaking just now and asked, "Old Man Leda, you don't recognize me anymore?"

Old Man Leda thought for a moment and replied, "Young Cardinal. It's you."

The colors of all the old men changed, and Leo nodded as he said, "I thought I would be meeting someone else. You guys came over as a surprise. Since you all are my seniors, this round of drinks is on me."

The people gulped, they had all been fence sitters when the Cardinal Family collapsed, and indirectly their neutral stance was the reason behind the collapse. So, at this moment, they felt guilty, very guilty.

Chairman Haul, the owner of Haul Infra, an upper middle size company, said, "I understand why you are doing this, Young Cardinal. It is your revenge, right?"

Leo nodded and said, "Correct, it is revenge, but not against you."

The people were surprised once again, and Leo said, "The vengeance I seek comes from those who really attacked my family. You guys were fence sitters, and so you didn't do much damage.

My revenge is intended towards those who aided and abetted Carole Primal. Aron Rao was one of the main players from his team. I want to settle scores and that's all. Is it wrong for me to do such a thing? If so, then I shall submit the evidence of the entire facade to the authorities and they will decide what you get."

His words scared the people, they knew that Leo Cardinal was a beast, even in his youth there were many times he had given out some ideas that became a tactic used by the Cardinal Group.

An injured beast was even more dangerous than a healthy one. Leo was an injured beast. If provoked, he would damage them without thinking about anything else.

Old Man Leda asked, "Young Cardinal, what do you want us to do?"

Leo shrugged and said, "You need to throw your scions into rehab, get them clean and then while doing this, you should report Aron Rao for providing your children with drugs. After that, I will handle everything and get that man locked up."

Chairman Haul asked, "You don't want anything else?"

They were all very suspicious about his intention and Leo smiled as he said, "No, I have enough money for myself, and every moment my business is progressing smoothly thanks to the blessings of my parents. I don't want to create any misunderstanding with you or the people who didn't join. However, I will not tolerate Aron Rao or people who helped Carole Primal.

I have my reasons, and so should you. These bastards made your scions and future pillars drug addicts, what do you think they would do if they kept the youth of your family under control?"

The people were stunned, they had been so busy thinking about damage control that they almost forgot about speculating the intensity of the damage. The pillars of the family being controlled and governed by someone else under the influence was something that would reduce their hard work to nothing.

After a few minutes, Chairman Haul and the rest of the people looked at each other and the former said, "Young Cardinal, we will deal with the situation how you want, but can you guarantee that you will not attack us in the future?"

Leo chuckled and said, "There is a saying, there is no everlasting foe, and there is no everlasting ally, only benefit. You are getting a deal, in return for helping me settle Aron Rao, I will not come at you deliberately. However, if you see my hands extending in your markets, let's have a fair competition."

The older people found this fair enough and they nodded to him. The negotiation was done, and after discussing a few more crucial points of the situation, the old fogies returned. Leo sat in the chair, and waved at Lily who came out from the counter and ran up to him. She hopped in his lap and the young man asked, "So, what did you learn?"

Lily thought for a bit and replied, "To get what we want, we must have something that scares the other party."

Leo nodded with a smile and Lily said, "We should also have the wit to out maneuver the enemy. Or we should reach out to enemies of the enemy to be friends with them."

Leo pecked her forehead and said, "You are very smart, I love you so much."

Lily chuckled and she kissed his cheek as well, before saying, "Baba, you're also powerful. Those old grandpas were scared."

The meeting came to an end, and Leo asked the people to check the surroundings around the bar, before they quickly headed out. Leo was prepared to fire his gun at a moment's notice. They got inside the car, and drove back home.

Even though Leo was anxious, they came back home, and Leo let out a sigh of relief as soon as Lily went to bed. Snow approached him and asked, "Was it hard?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "No, it wasn't anything like that, I am just anxious. How about we camp in the Princess's territory?"

Snow smiled and the couple went inside their daughter's room to spend the night there.
