Agnisotra: Origin Tails

Isi was generous and gave me 8.9% authority. My proficiency was still the same because I have used magic a lot lately. I even used it a lot against these gods. It would have been easier without tomato goddess sending super-fast attacks left and right so I can finish my movements. I was aware of this weakness of Dragonvein but this is the first time I got to experience it. Now that they’re focusing on Bellia and Della, I get free reign. I had noticed that Dragonvein was more effective on Zack than magic.

I had finished calibrating. Greg had already made his big [Shadow Cat] and helped Bellia out. She had swapped with Della because Zack was a bad matchup for her. I would help Della in a bit but I first need to do something about Noobgod. I don’t need much to kick his ass. Raishin was quite unsuccessful in using magnetism and making use of the magnetic sand because he isn’t used to it. So, I will have to step in for a bit.

I will present to you my second secret weapon! I opened the jar and had to instantly close it because it stank. It is 2-year-old poison. It has already spoilt of course. I had to circulate nature energy to get rid of the nausea. I dropped layers of illusions on this to disguise the spoilt milk as water.

Noobgod is having several of his robots shoot at the other gods and Greg. While he himself is having a talk with another god which Bellia referred to as Wyndur, the god of martial arts and uhh other stuff. It doesn’t matter, hopefully this guy won’t get a chance to do anything meaningful because he needs to be in close range to deal damage.

They are talking and having lunch. How rude! I will punish him for this.

Raishin went to help Greg. The robots that had been attacking him kept shooting lasers and other projectiles at him though…

I snuck into the camp of Noobgod. They were talking about what they would do after they won. How arrogant! I inspected his cup which appeared to have water in it. I carefully moved some drops out of it and tasted it.

I don’t know how gods drink their water but this is normal water. I made my secret weapon taste exactly like this water and skilfully swapped them. I looked at an open jar of something that looked like honey. They used that to put on their sandwiches. I suppose my first secret weapon can also get some action. I tasted some of the honey and replaced it with Secret Weapon #1. Noobgod took a big gulp of Secret Weapon #2 before continuing his talk. Perfect!

I left their camp. Now time to drop all my ultimate skills on Zack and possibly catch Tomato goddess. I focused and used my new ultimate skill by creating 3 clones.

These clones were very special, their objective isn't to deceive, it’s to annoy and annihilate opponents. I call them [Triple-point clones]. They do look like me but it’s obvious that they aren't me. Now for how they work. All these clones have the three states of water in them. The outside is a thick water veil that acts as a tough stretchable skin and that fuels their water skills. This veil is made out of leyline energy, the rest of this clone is made out of magic.

For now, they will use water leyline energy so they don’t run out. At creation, they're filled with 70% frost and 30% steam. The frost makes them sturdy but makes them very slow. These clones are quite slow, about human running speed. The steam is responsible for speed and power. The more these clones get hit the more frost will turn into steam, bloating the clone but also making them very fast and hit very hard. If they get ignored the steam condenses and freezes back into frost making the clones return to a similar state they're in now. The clones can also completely freeze over and become almost impenetrable. I can feed them energy to avoid this but I can also pull energy out of them if they accumulate enough energy.

Now the annoying part: hit them enough they will violently explode when their insides are made 90% out of steam, this could set off the other clones if they are also close to exploding. At the moment they have a 10% chance of reforming after they explode but this still needs to be improved. The water veil could also turn some water into steam or frost, to forcibly push them to a certain point. These clones can use water leyline to a limited extent so they can also attack from range. They are mostly physical fighters though. I also have to fix that to make them more flexible.

I can’t keep relying on Nilah to apply constant frost pressure. It's just that it takes me 2 minutes to make these. I will need breathing room or maybe I should make shadow clones and have them create these [Triple-point clones]. Use clones to make clones. I will dub this skill [Triple Clones] because it will else be too long and long names are hard to remember.

Go [Triple Clones]! Show Zack that he wished he had a cute fox harassing him!

Well, I will just wait because these clones are quite slow at the moment. Nilah was sitting on my head and seemed happy that she could slack.

Now to catch all my enemies in [Hsien]. It still takes 2 minutes to assign an area and make the air within it act like water. Della was the only one who reacted when I started but she seemed to not mind and even gave me a boost. How nice of her.

So, the big plan is to use [Hsien]. Make life extremely hard for Zack and Tomato goddess. And when they decide to focus on me again, I will start going for [Silver Torrent] and turn the whole of [Hsien] into a [Silver Hsien]? It doesn’t sound so cool. I need a cool name for after I combine my 2 ultimate skills.

I think that’s theoretically the most damage I can do right now, besides using [Elgard Overload] afterward and spamming that same skill.

I heard an explosion and I looked around.

That was fast! 2 of my triple clones were quite bloated and moving around extremely fast. I may or may not have made this skill after being inspired by Mo. It might be a bit rude but seeing him move around at great speed and agility with his size had a strange sense of grace. I might be a complete weirdo here.

The setup was almost finished. Zack's fire attacks started to drop in potency and tomato goddess and Zack started to become sluggish. My passive which increased damage on cc’ed targets will be active at all times now. I looked over at Noobgod who clutched his stomach in extreme pain. I think my secret weapon did more damage to him than anything combined.

Coral started appearing and fish of various sizes appeared as did several orcas and no-winged dragons made out of water and frost. I had covered the area as big as the crater so all the gods were trapped within.

I made a current move me toward the middle of this large sphere and started to create multiple [Dragons] at the edge of this sphere to make sure nobody could escape. Nilah was cooling my tails down with frost magic because they were close to overheating.

Every attack made by my opponents got gulped up by fish, orcas or dragons. Ardella looked at [Hsien] in awe and was boosting the power of the fish and orcas. Greg freaked out at first but he realized it wasn’t real water.

I created 2 more frost [Dragons] to cool my tails off. I had several frost [Dragons] swirling around me just to keep me from overheating. I slowly closed the edge of the sphere of influence with water and frost [Dragons].

The arrogance of these gods became their downfall. They thought they could escape or break free, maybe even kill me before I could close it. Unfortunately, crowd control, is one of the things I take seriously and have mastered. The opposing forces were sitting ducks, movement was severely limited. Any attack they sent out got eaten by the leyline sea creatures I had made and will cause them to get assaulted by them.

I created 4 enormous frost [Dragons] which went to assault every one of them. The goddesses on our sides were piling on. Zack had the hardest time. Tomato goddess sent out multiple light-based attacks at me but they got refracted and eaten by some orcas. Some of this energy went to Nilah who had had grown in size.

A school of fish was harassing Noobgod while he was clutching his stomach. His friend punched and kicked but these fish didn’t care. Greg could easily handle Tomato goddess now that she was unable to do anything. Zack didn’t even need anyone on him because I had sent 3 orcas and a frost [Dragon] after him.

Bubbles gathered around me and Della appeared.

“This is a very beautiful skill, where have you learned this?”

It’s inspired from spending almost 2 months at the bottom of the ocean.

Della looked at the coral, which was inspired by the coral reef the old man had brought me to, the orcas that had helped me, various types and sizes of fish that I’ve seen and the dragons that somehow felt at home. It’s almost a perfect representation of my time under the sea.

“I see, that must not have been an easy experience.”

I wouldn’t have been able to create this if it was easy, it was a valuable lesson. Now excuse me this takes a lot of focus and some gods need their asses kicked, I can keep this up as long as nobody gets to me, which is unlikely but would you be so kind to make sure that doesn’t happen?

“Sure, the tailed races always do interesting stuff, I like how I can control all this as if it’s water.”

Me too, it might change soon though so get the best out of it.

I created currents in [Hsien] to make life for my opponents harder. They were completely at my mercy and I liked it! I kept churning out water and frost [Dragons] until my tails had found out how to use this skill without hogging all the processing power of all of my 9 tails.

I can’t do anything else if this is hogging that much resources. So, I kept [Hsien] up for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes. Another triple clone exploded. It was Noobgod this time. We seemed to be winning. I had managed to find out how to use only 5 tails to keep this up.

Nilah was ready to wreak havoc. Raishin and Greg had decided to go tailed beast mode because I had eliminated all the possible downsides. I used [Waterfall] and went to help Della deal with Noobgod. He seemed the closest to tapping out. How weak is this guy to poison?

Noobgod freaked out when he saw me approach him. “Shit! I thought you were unable to move while using this! I don’t agree with that bitch but I understand why she hates your kind!”

Interesting because this isn’t a racial skill, I made it myself!

He tried to shoot me but his stomach made a strange sound and I crashed into him with [Waterfall].

Hey Della, can you help me get these 2 over there close to tomato goddess and Zack?

“Sure, are you fine though? You mentioned that it took a lot of concentration to keep this up?”

It does but I put my lazy tails to work so I have some leeway.

Wyndur sent a kick my way. Unfortunately for him, I had my [Frozen skin] up but his one kick took all of them away. Probably some stupid overpowered ability I don’t want to deal with. [Hsien] doesn’t protect me from direct physical hits. He seemed to realize this and tried to go after me but I used [Waterfall] and got away from him.

“Hey come back!”

Oh, hell no! take your friend and chase me if you can!

I sent an orca after him and I moved back to the center of [Hsien]. I shifted stance, made a movement as if throwing out a bucket of water, and tried to [Flush] them and make them join the other gods in their beat down.

Bellia had temporarily knocked out tomato goddess. I have to remember that she had beaten the tomato goddess before. Her child-like appearance didn’t suggest that she was able to do so.

Della created a vortex that caught Noobgod and Wyndur. The vortex moved toward the tomato goddess who had regained consciousness due to the turbulent waters. She recovered way faster than Zack. He only had 1 scar when we first met him but now, he has multiple. He might be more eligible for the nickname ‘Scar’.

Hey Raishin, want to see why they called me Silver Torrent?

Oh! Yes! I had heard stories from your students but I want to see it myself!

Want to match me with lightning?

I have actually tried getting to silver lightning but kept failing.

Hmm, strange, although I did notice that lightning is way easier when done with Dragonvein than with magic, maybe that’s why. Anyways maybe you can pick up something I’m doing differently. I fired off my [Tail Dynamo] with the tails that weren’t keeping [Hsien] running.

I wanted to use [Accel Step] but I noticed a problem. There was no floor since I was more or less swimming around in [Hsien].

What a blunder! But I can fix this! I gathered frost [Dragons] and used them to run around on.

Zack tried to boil everything away so he would be my prime focus. I made the frost [Dragons] swirl around him and I ran over them while throwing daggers and wires around him. Raishin was paying close attention while firing [Giganova Blasts] at Wyndur. I fired off [Bossmusic] since I was already using wires.

Zack heated up. “I will never forgive you for this!”

Good thing you won’t be able to act upon that. Right Bellia?

“Don’t worry, they won’t be able to do much after we take them away.”

Not killing them, eh? As long as they don’t bother us then I don’t really care.

The wires made a nice pleasant sound as I went into black lightning. My spinning tails were creating vortices and [Hsien] became highly turbulent to the point even my allies were affected. I guess I still need to work on this.

Della stepped in and prevented my buddies, especially Greg, from experiencing a wild water ride. I didn’t seem to do much damage to Zack. I was however damaging his pride. Maybe this hurts him more than this black lightning.

I reversed the spin of my tails, this made the currents even stronger and more unpredictable. The lightning briefly went back to red.

Oh, this hasn’t happened before. Then a large explosion of silver lightning burst out as my cosmetic illusion lifted. [Hsien] instantly filled with silver lightning. I had instantly shifted to [Silver Torrent]. All the fish got a silver glow, the white on the orcas turned silver and the frost dragons became [Silver Frost Dragons].

Right, this must hurt. The opposing deities were screaming in pain, and so were the deities on my side and Raishin and Greg. I hope they will forgive me. Unfortunately. This takes way more out of me than a normal [Silver Torrent]. I could only keep it up for 1 more minute.

Greg placed [Shadow Cloaks] on himself and Raishin and I gave them [Frost Cloaks] but it didn’t seem to protect them fully. Della and Bellia were healing them to make sure I didn’t fry my buddies. Raishin started investing in his own [Tail Dynamo].

Hey, guys, good news and bad news.

I don’t like it when you say that.

Bad news is that I can only keep this up for 1 more minute.

This skill hurts! That’s good news! But what is the actual good news?

I can collapse all this energy into Nilah and she can then unleash the strongest [Kryokym] in recent history. After that I’m probably out. I think this will take out Zack and tomato goddess. I’m not sure about the other 2.

“Your help is much appreciated; we couldn’t have done it without you. I will stabilize you afterward. I would just want a warning before you zap us…” Bellia made a confident pose but it was hard to take her seriously because she looked like a 10-year-old child. It also looks like my skill fucked her up more than the opposing gods had.

I prematurely collapsed [Hsien] into Nilah. She became her big self. But she looked a bit different. I have no clue what is going on with her. The belly part of her fur is silver now.

Zack started fleeing.

What a loser, this won’t kill him. Just hurt a lot. This [Kryokym] counts as an ultimate skill too, right? The whole area flashed light blue as the strongest frost attack in recent history got unleashed on our area.

I had to eat but I suddenly felt as if I had no energy. I fell down and couldn’t move. My tails were warning me that I had overworked myself and the tips of my tails started to become red.

Bellia crouched down next to me. “We will take it from here. Take a nap.”
