After Dressing Up As a Little Fulang

Chapter 38 - At the Meeting Place (1)

An Yun hadn’t reacted yet; he only felt that the body behind him was particularly hot, to the point that he felt a little warm.

An Yun’s health had not been very good since he arrived in this world, and with the hardships he had endured, his health had worsened. His hands and feet were always cold on most days. Even in the hot summer, when others wished to stay in an ice cellar, he only felt slightly warm and thought that staying in a cool place was sufficient.

The moment Zang Ya pressed against him, only one thought flashed through An Yun’s mind: he seemed to have not felt such a burning temperature for a long time.

Zang Ya looked at him and found it somewhat amusing. He turned around and said, “The carriage doesn’t need to follow. Let’s go.”

“Yes!”

An Yun looked back and saw a small, gorgeous carriage waiting behind Zang Ya and his two guards. It was being driven away by the coachman.

As soon as An Yun saw the carriage, he knew it was prepared for him. It seemed that Zang Ya had originally planned for him to ride in the carriage, but he didn’t know why he suddenly changed his mind.

“Hold on tight, we’re leaving.” Zang Ya looked at the dazed An Yun and whispered in his ear amid the noise around them.

An Yun immediately came to his senses, grabbed the reins, and nodded seriously.

Zang Ya looked at him like this, chuckled, then pulled the reins, exerted force with his feet, and shouted, “Drive!”

Before An Yun could recover from the scolding in his ears, he felt a strong force coming, which made his heart tremble suddenly. The expression on his face also became a little terrified due to the sudden stimulation, and his hand subconsciously grabbed Zang Ya’s forearm.

An Yun had never ridden a horse in his life, only watching others ride. He saw others riding so leisurely and thought it was very simple and not fast. He didn’t expect that riding would be so frightening.

Noticing An Yun’s distress, Zang Ya looked down and saw his frightened expression. His cheeks were flushed due to the intense emotion, and there was a bit of confusion in his eyes, with his brows slightly furrowed.

Zang Ya’s eyes gradually moved from An Yun’s face to his white fingers, which were holding his arm tightly, as if he was afraid that he would run away, and he was slightly exerting force, turning a little pale.

In a moment, Zang Ya quickly figured out the key, and then looked at An Yun’s expression with a hint of complexity.

Zang Ya hugged An Yun’s waist with one hand, pulling him closer and giving him a greater sense of security.

Then, Zang Ya slowed down the horse little by little, looking at An Yun from time to time, observing his expression, and finally found a speed that An Yun would not be afraid of.

An Yun was startled when Zang Ya first hugged his waist, but as he leaned against Zang Ya’s still immature but already very reliable chest, he felt a little relieved.

Knowing that Zang Ya was sitting behind him and his arms were around him gave An Yun enough sense of security. He began to feel that the running horse was not so frightening and even found a bit of enjoyment in the galloping.

Zang Ya looked down at An Yun, seeing his eyes shining with excitement and joy, and pulled the reins, guiding the horse onto another road.

The two servants following behind looked at the direction Zang Ya took, their faces showing confusion. They didn’t understand why he chose that road, which was obviously longer. Although they were puzzled, they rode their horses to follow him, not daring to delay for a moment.

An Yun didn’t know what Zang Ya and the guards behind him were thinking. He just felt that riding a horse under the afternoon sun, feeling the breeze on his face, and having the hem of his clothes blown up by the wind was a pleasant experience.

An Yun hadn’t been out much since he entered the Zang Mansion. Now that he could go out and ride, even though he was guided by Zang Ya, he still felt a sense of freedom. If it weren’t for the wrong time, An Yun even felt that he could roar out to relieve the joy in his heart.

As if sensing An Yun’s happiness, Zang Ya lowered his head and looked at him, seeing the smile on his face curling up.

.

An Yun was driven by Zang Ya all the way, relishing the rare freedom, but his eyes were not idle.

Wherever An Yun looked, he saw that the road they passed was transitioning from the original wooden and stone high-class houses to small wooden dwellings, with a few thatched houses interspersed.

The stone slabs on the ground also changed from neat and tidy slabs at the beginning to broken pieces, some of which were missing.

There were only a few pedestrians on the road. When they saw their figures from a distance, they would hide away quickly.

Occasionally, someone would peek out from their house, and after seeing their clothes, they would display envy or fear in their eyes and watch them leave.

An Yun observed all this intently and felt that everything was rare. This was real ancient life, completely different from what he had seen on TV.

When An Yun looked at others, they looked back at him, but their eyes were all obscure and envious, secretly guessing which family he might be from to be so gorgeous.

A young man playing at the door of his house was drawn to the group of rich people approaching. His eyes were particularly captivated by the shuanger in the arms of the black-clad figure on the leading black horse. The shuanger was dressed in green, with a face as white as jade and eyebrows and eyes that were very beautiful.

For a moment, the young man even felt that the white jade Bodhisattva made of porcelain, which his mother had insisted he worship last time, was not even one-tenth as beautiful as the shuanger.

The young man stared blankly in their direction, fixated, without moving his eyes or blinking.

It wasn’t until the tall black horse carried passed and the shuanger could no longer be seen that the young man finally came back to his senses. All that remained in his mind was the image of the shuanger being held like a jade doll.

A quarter of an hour later, the boy was slapped on the head, followed by a rough female voice saying rudely, “I called you so many times in the room. Why didn’t you answer? I thought you were dead.”

The boy seemed to come to his senses suddenly after being slapped, holding his head and groaning. He then turned to look at his mother with resentment and said, “Mom, what are you doing? You’ll make me stupid.”

The woman sneered disdainfully and said, “So what if you’re stupid? You are already stupid, so what if you’re a little more stupid? Let’s go back to eat. We still have to work later.”

“Yes.” The young man pursed his lips, looked at the woman walking inside, followed her closely, but occasionally turned his head to look at the direction where the beauty had left, his eyes full of envy.

If he were born into a wealthy family, with a powerful background, would he be able to have such a beauty and lead him freely and unrestrainedly?
