Chapter 36 - It Bounces Well (1)
Zang Ya left and did not return until the doctor came to treat An Yun and arranged for the maid to help him stand up and exercise.
An Yun also learned about what happened that day through Lu He. It turned out that Xiao Cui had gone to ask Qing Yue for help after seeing that Old Madam Zang had taken An Yun away. Qing Yue had rushed back with Zang Ya and saved him.
An Yun had been enduring the pain in his body at the time. With Lu He’s support, he slowly moved to exercise. When he heard Lu He say this to him, a bit of complexity appeared on his face.
“Fulang, you still need to build a good relationship with the young master in the future,” Xiao Cui, who had been supporting his other arm, whispered to An Yun after Lu He finished speaking.
An Yun turned his head and saw Xiao Cui looking at him with worry in her eyes. Her eyes were full of concern for him. He smiled at her gently and said sincerely, “I’m sorry for you this time.”
Xiao Cui felt a little embarrassed and lowered her head slightly. She said softly, “This is what I should do. If there were no young master and the young master didn’t care about fulang, no matter how much I did, it would be useless.”
An Yun naturally knew this. He was able to live well now, mostly because of Zang Ya. Although he didn’t know what the young master thought of him, and the young master’s behaviour was also very strange, he did owe this young master a lot.
An Yun walked slowly, thinking about how to repay him. He had been laying in bed for too long, and the blood in his body was not circulating. If he didn’t walk around, he might have a problem.
Suddenly, An Yun saw the room next to him from the corner of his eye. At first, he just glanced at it casually, but soon he was shocked and turned his head to look carefully. He saw that the originally simple side room had been decorated very gorgeously, and even the door had changed from a few random small trees painting to a rockery with green grass and small trees.
An Yun stared at the landscape, raised his head, looked around the yard, and then looked at his own house. The cat’s paw-like marks under the eaves next to the door were still there.
An Yun was sure that he had not gone to other places, so he asked curiously, “What’s going on here? How come it’s so different here after I just slept for a few days?”
Lu He said immediately, “That’s the young master’s room.”
An Yun was stunned, and the words came out of his mouth, “Doesn’t he have a big yard next door? Why does he squeeze a small room into my yard?”
Although the room was already 60 square meters, it was definitely a little small for a rich young master like Zang Ya.
After saying that, An Yun felt that he had said too much. This whole yard belonged to Zang Ya; he could go wherever he wanted, and there was no need for him to question it. A bit of embarrassment appeared on his face.
Lu He looked at him, wanting to say something but stopping.
Xiao Cui glanced at Lu He, then came to An Yun and whispered in his ear, “I think the young master wanted to take care of fulang nearby to prevent a blind servant from bullying the fulang again.”
An Yun was shocked, and his expression became strange. He didn’t know what he had done to make the young master treat him so well.
Could it be that the young master really wanted his body?
It wasn’t that An Yun was self-deprecating, but he had nothing now, and the only thing he could show off was his face and this body. If this body was not his own, he would probably like it too, so it was normal for Zang Ya to like it.
Once this thought emerged, it was hard to suppress. An Yun felt very strange and even began to worry about what kind of expression he should have when he saw Zang Ya.
What if, what if Zang Ya really thought that about him, what should he do?
.
After leaving An Yun’s room, Zang Ya first returned to his original courtyard, called two guards in to ask questions, arranged some things, and then went out again.
By the time he finally returned to the mansion, a whole day had passed.
Zang Ya returned to the Zang Mansion and had just gotten off the horse when the maid waiting at the door seemed to have seen a saviour. She ran over and said to Zang Ya, “Young master, you are finally back.”
Zang Ya merely glanced at her and said nothing.
The maid was used to her young master’s behaviour. She followed Zang Ya in and whispered in his ear, “Young master, the old lady has been waiting for you for a day and has also sent me to guard the door for a day. Let me wait for the young master and take him to see her.”
Zang Ya paused for a moment and turned to look at the maid.
The maid felt a little nervous under Zang Ya’s gaze and was somewhat scared, but she quickly forced a smile and looked at Zang Ya in a flattering way.
Zang Ya retracted his gaze, turned on his heel, and walked to the courtyard of Old Madam Zang.
It had been a week since Zang Ya had agreed to his grandmother’s request. According to his grandmother’s temper, she should have reached the limit of her patience. If he didn’t go, she would probably make a fuss. By then, he, the young master of the Zang family, would not face trouble, but An Yun, the little shuanger, would probably suffer.
Zang Ya decided to see his grandmother first and update her on the current progress of the matter she was concerned about, hoping to keep her calm for a while.
The maid saw that Zang Ya was heading exactly toward Old Madam Zang’s residence, so she quietly breathed a sigh of relief and quickly followed.
