After Being Reborn, I Refuse To Be The Holy Son Of The Sect Anymore

Chapter 100:

Chapter 100:

Beneath Black Wind City lay an unexpected and vast underground world.

All the disciples of the Qingyang Sword Sect had been captured and taken underground. Apart from Xiao Yang, every disciple who descended the mountain this time had been annihilated. Even the elder leading the group, Lei Lie, hadn’t been spared.

Xiao Yang had no choice but to step forward. He was still the senior brother of the Qingyang Sword Sect. Without Lei Renjie and the others, how could he participate in the upcoming sect competition? Even with his high cultivation and formidable strength, winning first place in the competition alone was impossible.

The sect competition was no ordinary duel. It was an unimaginably rigorous test.

As soon as Xiao Yang stepped into the eerie and terrifying underground realm, he immediately became a target.

With a sharp “swish,” a white thread shot out from the left passage, coiling around his waist and yanking him toward the left. Pink mist filled every corner of the underground space. Xiao Yang had barely inhaled a trace of the mist, yet his mind became clouded, his consciousness muddled. He was dragged off the ground, pulled toward the left passage.

“Old hag, let him go!” A cold yet alluring voice echoed.

The next moment, a figure dashed out from the right passage, grabbed Xiao Yang’s leg, and with a flash of light, severed the white thread that had ensnared him.

“Outrageous!” The raspy voice from the left erupted in fury.

From the left passage emerged a hunched, black-clad elderly woman. On the other side, from the right passage, appeared a stunning beauty draped in gauzy fabric. Her graceful demeanor and faintly sweet fragrance left Xiao Yang even more disoriented.

“You vixen, give him back to me!” The old woman snarled, launching her attack. Threads of white silk shot from behind her, aiming for Xiao Yang and the seductive woman.

“Dream on!” The beauty laughed heartily. She clutched Xiao Yang and, displaying remarkable agility, dashed into the right passage with incredible speed. The white threads couldn’t even graze their clothing.

“Curse you!” The old woman roared, though she made no attempt to pursue them. At that moment, another figure descended from above—a middle-aged man wielding a demonic blade, surrounded by an aura of malevolence, his pale face devoid of facial hair.

“This one looks good. He’s mine, isn’t he?” The old woman’s face lit up with joy. Countless white threads surged toward the man.

With a casual wave of his right hand, the threads shattered into countless fragments.

“What…” The old woman was stunned.

The man extended his hand, gripping the air. The old woman felt as if an invisible giant hand had seized her, dragging her toward him helplessly. Terrified, she couldn’t believe this person’s overwhelming strength.

The man grabbed her by the neck and lifted her effortlessly. “A mere spider demon dares act arrogantly in my presence?” His tone was icy.

“Spare me… please spare me…” The old woman begged, trembling.

The man sneered and flung her aside. She crashed into the stone wall and rolled to the ground. Without sparing her another glance, he strode confidently through the bronze door behind the passage.

“You can’t go in there! That’s the master’s forbidden area…” The old woman struggled to her feet, shouting.

“There’s nowhere in this world that Li Kuang, the Blade Demon, cannot go!” His voice thundered with unrestrained dominance.

“The Blade Demon, Li Kuang?” The old woman was horrified upon hearing his name.

Meanwhile, Xiao Yang, still in a dazed state, felt as though he were caught in a dream. His fragmented consciousness transported him to his past life, to the final battle atop Qingyang Mountain against Qin Fei. The scene replayed vividly.

“Senior Brother, you can’t kill Junior Brother!” Just as he was about to strike Qin Fei down, a figure rushed forward, shielding Qin Fei. It was Jiang Ting, standing protectively in front of him.

“Junior Sister, you…” Xiao Yang looked at Jiang Ting in disbelief, while Qin Fei, behind her, smirked triumphantly.

“Xiao Yang, the one you love most has chosen me. You will always be a failure!” Qin Fei laughed arrogantly.

The next moment, Qin Fei thrust his sword into Xiao Yang’s chest.

“No!” Xiao Yang jolted awake, gasping. The illusion had dredged up the memories he least wanted to recall. The confusion spell had been more potent than he had anticipated.

When he looked around, he was stunned by what he saw. He was dressed in crimson wedding robes, seated at a table, sharing a ceremonial drink with an enchanting woman.

Startled, Xiao Yang leapt to his feet.

“What’s wrong, husband?” The woman in wedding robes looked at him in surprise.

“What demon dares to toy with me?” Xiao Yang glared at her.

“Oh? I didn’t expect you to snap out of it so quickly,” the woman remarked, mildly surprised.

“You’re a demon?” Xiao Yang sensed a faint demonic aura emanating from her. “A fox demon skilled in enchantment.” He immediately thought of the three fox demons who had tried to deceive him earlier. But this woman was far more powerful.

“Dear husband, why not stay here with me? Let’s live together as a couple. What do you say?” The woman smiled seductively, her every gesture exuding charm. Her eyes, in particular, were mesmerizing, as though they could pull him into an endless abyss.

Xiao Yang was alarmed. He was no ordinary man; he had lived through a thousand years of experience after his rebirth. He had faced countless challenges and dangers. Yet he had almost fallen for this fox demon’s spell.

“Trying to steal my essence to boost your cultivation?” Xiao Yang sneered. As a virgin and a True Yang Holy Body, his essence was incredibly pure. The fox demon intended to break his purity and absorb his life energy?

“Husband, shouldn’t you help me grow stronger?” The fox demon smiled coquettishly.

Though Xiao Yang had fallen for her trap earlier, his mind was now clear and stable. He was no longer vulnerable to her allure.

“Die!” Xiao Yang prepared to strike but was shocked to find his energy completely suppressed.

“Husband, you’re still too inexperienced. Did you think I wouldn’t take precautions?” The fox demon laughed, her smile as radiant as blooming flowers. Even Xiao Yang couldn’t help but be briefly captivated.

She approached him slowly and pushed him toward the bed with a light touch.

“Humans speak of life’s four great joys: rain after a long drought, meeting an old friend in a distant land, a wedding night, and success in the imperial exams. Right now, I’m like rain after a drought, and I need you to consummate this marriage.” She pushed Xiao Yang again, sending him onto the bed.

At this moment, Xiao Yang felt utterly powerless. His body was limp, and he collapsed onto the bed.

“You vile fox demon, how dare you treat me like this!” Xiao Yang was furious and panicked.

“No matter what, I’m taking your purity tonight. Once I absorb your essence, my power will skyrocket, far surpassing that old spider!”

“A night of spring is worth a thousand gold coins. Come, husband!” The fox demon laughed sweetly and leapt toward him.

Xiao Yang was filled with dread and rage. Was he truly about to fall victim to this fox demon’s schemes tonight?

“No!” he cried out in desperation.
