Chapter 10: Whispers of the Labyrinth

The ruins beneath Eidolon stretched endlessly, a labyrinth of corridors and shattered relics Celeste moved cautiously through the dimly lit tunnels, her footsteps muffled by the dust of centuries past. The air hummed with lingering traces of Aether—ancient, untamed, and unlike anything she had ever felt before.

"Where are we going" Celeste asked

"Just Forward" Orion Said Smiling

A faint whisper echoed

"Turn back, Unbound one."

Celeste's pulse quickened. The voice wasn't human—it wasn't even mortal. It felt like the remnants of something left behind

She went forward, Aether floating into sphere of light. The glow illuminated the ancient walls, revealing murals depicting a time before the Pantheon's. The images told a forgotten story—one of rebellion, gods falling from their thrones, and a power greater than divinity itself.

The whispers grew louder.

"You should not be here."

Celeste exhaled slowly. "I want the truth."

The air shifted, and suddenly, the ground trembled beneath her. From the depths of the labyrinth, something was there. Aether surged wildly, and Celeste barely had time to react before the walls cracked, revealing a pair of eyes staring at her from the darkness.

Something had awakened.

And it knew her name.
