Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 240: Rank 3 engaging

At the Abyss…

Seven giant beings sat around a vast, circular table. The air around them was chaotic, ancient whispers echoing like madness itself.

If an ordinary being heard them, he'd either drop dead or go completely insane.

"I'm curious though... what made the angels so furious that they started a life-and-death battle with that Abyss?" Belphegor asked, yawning.

"That..." Mammon began, smiling, "I heard the angels finally created a being through mating with another race humans. And one of the demons from this Abyss killed it."

The others listened closely.

"Hmm... acceptable cause for anger," Lucifer mused. "But still, why a life and death war? Can't they just... try again?"

"Probably," Leviathan said. "But the one who died was a war archangel. Like Michael."

BOOM.

A pause.

Anytime demons hear the name Michael, fear chills the room.

Why? Because Michael isn't just any war archangel, he's the strongest.

Bloodthirsty, merciless, and once he locks onto a target… he doesn't stop until it's dead.

Lucifer was the only exception.

"I see now," Satan muttered, rubbing his chin. "No wonder they went crazy. An angel like Michael is rare... they must've felt lucky to have one."

"Imagine dealing with two Michaels," Asmodeus added, shaking his head.

"Yeah, yeah. Good job to them. But I think we're all skipping something... actually, every race is skipping it," Beelzebub said suddenly. All six demons turned to him.

"What's that?" Belphegor asked.

"Humans," Beelzebub replied. The table fell silent.

"True..." Satan muttered. "They seem to be everywhere lately."

"Is the legend true?" Leviathan asked.

"Who knows?" Beelzebub shrugged. "Supposedly made by the Source of Existence itself? I doubt it. They're weak—not the smartest, not the strongest physically. So what's special about them?"

"That, no one can say." Lucifer stood. "Forget it. Let's focus. How are we attacking?"

The Seven Original Sins began to prepare.

In Heaven…

"Michael, can you please sit down so we can talk?" Gabriel asked calmly.

Dozens of Rank 6 angels sat in the shining war chamber. Their eighteen golden wings shimmered behind flawless armor, these were the original angels, the strongest of Heaven's ranks. They led the war against the Abyss.

"Listen," one angel spoke. "We can't just attack one Abyss. What about the Original Demon Abyss? Let me lead th...."

"You'll die, Michael!" another interrupted. "The demons outnumber us 100 to 1. We need to take this one step at a time."

"Yes and watch our rear," Gabriel added.

Reluctantly, Michael sat down.

"So... how's the human experiment going?" one Rank 6 angel asked.

"Difficult. All born are... incomplete," another said grimly.

"Incomplete?" Michael raised an eyebrow.

"They're weak. Not even Rank 0. Missing body parts. Ugly too."

"Persol... what is it with you and ugly beings?" another angel said, shaking his head.

"What? We're past the ancient era! Look around everyone here is beautiful or handsome. We can't take an ugly mutation seriously," Persol muttered.

"Idiot. How strong was he?" Michael asked.

"He's dead. No point in asking." Persol shrugged.

"Killed?" Gabriel inquired.

"Stuck at Rank 1. Disposable." Persol waved it off. The others nodded.

"Wait…" Gabriel leaned forward. "If there's more of them..., keep them."

"Huh? Why?" Michael asked.

"Cannon fodder," Gabriel said bluntly. "The demon population is always a problem. If we can breed with any race and produce hybrids, let's use them to flood the battlefield. These angels will serve as disposable forces."

The rest began nodding.

"Not a bad idea," a Rank 6 angel laughed.

"Exactly." Gabriel smirked.

At Void's Universe…

Shrip...

Space ripped open. A fur-covered figure stepped through.

Sun Wukong had broken through to Rank 3.

"Hehehe… Rank 3... Void, I'm catching up," he grinned, staring at the marble-sized object before him.

It was a universe.

Void's universe.

He could see both the past and present inside it.

This world knew him. They once worshipped him as a god, the ancient God...until an Outer God appeared and challenged him. The sky shattered, domains fell...

But he had won.

Still, the battle had left him dying. In his death... the Void Race was born.

Sun Wukong laughed.

So this was the war they'd been speaking of. When that being attacked the universe , Void had come back and erased it.

Clenching his fist, Sun Wukong remembered how easily Void had done it.

Even as a Rank 3... he still wasn't at the top.

"Maybe it's time I visit the Titan Race," he whispered, touching the glowing mark on his forehead, the remnant of a being once inside him.

He plucked a hair from his arm. It turned into a mini Sun Wukong, not full strength, but holding 80% of his Rank 3 power.

Sun Wukong could create millions of clones with equal strength but doing so would drain his essence completely.

At Rank 3, creating clones with 100% power was possible, but only in the thousands, and their mastery of his laws and techniques would be 50% or less.

The mark on his head flared.

Directions to the Titan Race flooded into his mind.

He opened his eyes.

He could see what's outside the universe... no the multiuniverse nor the Omniverse but the Fitel, existence itself, beyond measure. Infinite in mass and distance.

BOOM.

Space shattered as he rushed forward, tearing into the Fourth Layer of space.

At the Primordial Demon Abyss…

The war had raged for years, and had finally reached Void's territory.

The sheer scale of energy being used had disrupted time itself, fast for some, agonizingly slow for others.

Now, Rank 3 beings had entered the battlefield.

As Void watched the angels arrive in massive numbers, his eyes gleamed.

He thought of Nyx, a fallen angel now under his command.

He licked his lips. Not because he wanted another slave...

But because killing these angels might finally push him to mid Rank 3.

Then, something hit him.

Void groaned as a flood of energy surged into him.

"System, what's happening?!" he asked in shock.

(Host, the following factors are affecting your core stats:)

– Ranked #1 on the Han's List

– Four of your slaves have reached Rank 3

– Your clone Kai has also broken through to Rank 3

All these benefits are currently being transferred to you, Host.)

"Holy shit…" Void grinned.
