Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 239: Darius return..

From the birth of the Dreadborne to the return of the bastard eldest prince, to the Duke family's downfall and rise...

The Federation has been on edge, bombarded by wave after wave of relentless events.

Now, there's one more.

Eight days have passed since the Duke family regained its strength. Bit by bit, the once monopolized power of Crown Prince Theron has been dismantled.

Now, the balance of power has shifted.

Just recently, Vaelen finally revealed his hand backing Crown Prince Theron with immense wealth, enough to counter the Brojik family's dominance.

For a moment, both sides seemed evenly matched.

Until he arrived.

Yes… the youngest general in the history of the Federation. A Peak Galaxy Realm being, Darius had returned.

At the Federation's Central Dock…

The Federation watched in awe as a fleet of military vehicles surrounded one majestic, imposing ship.

This was the personal vessel of Darius the youngest prince and potential future king.

At the dock stood vaelen,Theron and Caius, along with their sisters Seraphina and Lyssandra.

Top aristocrats were present as well, all gathered to welcome the boy who held the military in his palm.

As the ship docked, the door opened slowly.

Everyone held their breath. Tension crackled in the air.

Theron appeared calm, but only he knew the storm raging in his mind.

Caius wasn't at ease either.

Pa… Pa… Pa… Doom... Dom... Dom…

Footsteps echoed. A towering figure appeared.

At just sixteen, Darius was already a giant 6.5 feet (1.98 meters) tall. He dwarfed his brothers with a physique that was strong, broad-shouldered, yet perfectly proportioned.

His sharp features and piercing eyes radiated calm authority. His presence alone silenced the crowd.

This was not just a prince. This was a general.

"Welcome the youngest prince and youngest general of the military, Prince Darius!"

A soldier's booming voice snapped everyone to attention as Darius stepped onto Federation soil.

Even the aristocrats were stunned.

His aura alone rivaled Universal experts—yet he was still only at Peak Galaxy Realm. He was unrecognizable from the last time most had seen him.

"Brother!"

A joyful cry shattered the silence as Lyssandra ran forward and hugged him tightly.

Darius paused then smiled gently and returned the hug.

"You've grown," he said softly, running his hand through her hair.

Gasps filled the air as Seraphina approached next.

"Such a grand entrance… are you enjoying the shock on everyone's faces?"

She pouted slightly, then

Knock!

..knocked his head.

Everyone froze.

She just knocked the head of a military general?! A Peak Galaxy Realm genius?!

"Ouch… elder sis… I'm sorry," Darius winced with a chuckle.

The tension immediately melted. The crowd exhaled.

"I must say... I never noticed the dock smells so metallic."

"Me neither..."

"Nice weather today, isn't it?"

"Perfect day to welcome Prince Darius!"

The aristocrats relaxed and began to greet him enthusiastically. Darius accepted their respect with calm composure.

But three individuals remained silent....Theron, Vaelen, and Caius.

After the pleasantries, Darius stepped away from the crowd and approached his brothers.

The tension surged again ,so intense even Seraphina and Lyssandra didn't interrupt.

Darius towered over them, his presence alone like a gravitational force.

"Brothers…" he began.

"You should know me by now. I pursue ultimate strength. But by chasing the throne… how would that help me reach it?"

He smiled.

"Rascal," Caius laughed.

Vaelen smiled and nodded.

Theron sneered, but even his mood lightened.

And just like that, the pressure vanished. The four brothers began to chat as if nothing had ever been wrong.

Before long, their laughter echoed through the dock as they walked off together, leaving the stunned crowd behind.

"You all must be shocked, right?" Seraphina asked, turning to the noble assembly.

"Yes, Princess," one aristocrat replied.

"We can understand Darius talking to everyone, but even Caius and Theron… chatting together?"

Seraphina chuckled.

"Simple. Darius is the one person all three of them genuinely care about. If anything were to happen to him, they'd turn the Federation upside down."

"As long as he's here... nothing will divide them."

Laughter broke out among the nobles.

"Good. At least for now, the throne war will be quiet."

"Yes. The Federation can breathe again."

The convoy followed behind them, escorting Darius.

Among them was Darwin, Darius' personal guard.

He winced, holding his left arm as he felt a strange burning sensation. The moment Darius and his brothers left the area… it stopped.

"What's going on?" Darwin thought, watching the backs of the four princes fade into the distance.

Meanwhile…

Dared sat inside a spaceship, chatting with Azerak as they approached the Dreadborne Organization.

"That was slower than last time," Azerak commented.

"Yeah, but it gave us more time to think," Dared replied with a grin.

Azerak's tone grew serious.

"Be careful with the royal family, boy. They'll be watching you."

"Ah, that? I know. That's why I'm herenot just to break through," Dared smirked as he exited the ship.

Outside, the city was unnervingly quiet. Once a bustling place, it now seemed… abandoned.

"Welcome," a voice called out.

Before Dared could process where it came from, his vision blurred.

And he vanished.

At the Abyss…

Seven giant beings sat around a vast, circular table. The air around them was thick with chaos, and ancient whispers echoed through the void, words so vile and cosmic that any ordinary being who heard them would either drop dead or go insane instantly.

"The angels have attacked the Primordial Demons' Abyss," Mammon said with a smile tugging at his twisted lips.

"Yeah, I heard… So, what do you guys think?" Belphegor yawned lazily. "Should we attack the Abyss… or the Angels?"

"No… have you forgotten? Michael is watching us," Lucifer said calmly.

"Don't tell me you're still afraid of him," Beelzebub scoffed, his tone indifferent.

"He's a war archangel," Lucifer snapped. "Do you even understand how strong he is?"

"Does it matter?" Satan growled, his demonic face growing even more terrifying. "Can he beat me?"

"All of you, chill the fuck out," Leviathan muttered, slamming his hand on the table. The others immediately turned toward him.

"What did you just say?" Asmodeus blinked, confused and he wasn't the only one.

"You idiots are brain-dead," Leviathan said, exasperated. "You don't even follow the trend anymore. When was the last time any of you visited the human world?"

The six demons looked at each other… and paused, trying to remember.

"Okay, forget that," Leviathan continued, leaning forward.

"All I'm saying is… why must we attack only one?"

Silence...then

The rest chuckled darkly.
