A Multi Adventure

Chapter 18: The slowly growing Azmuth.

Azmuth stared intently at the sleek circular, silver beta-type Omnitrix before him.

A device of immense potential and complexity.

A swirl of thoughts consumed him, particularly the notion of creating a duplicate to give.

As a gift to not feel indebted.

So what better then to give something, that he considers his life work.

Just then, a sudden idea sparked within his mind.

His assistant, Albedo, had been covertly attempting to construct another Omnitrix.

This presented a unique opportunity, perhaps a chance to guide Albedo down a more righteous path.

In the past, Azmuth would have simply waited for Albedo to finish it and wait to see.

Only to cast him aside for daring to use his creation as a weapon when he did so.

After all.

Albedo had been secretly communicating with Vilgax.

The notorious intergalactic warlord and conqueror of the universe.

Turning his attention to a highly advanced computer console, Azmuth remained silent, his thoughts racing.

Without uttering a word, he began inputting commands to summon his wayward assistant.

"Ring…"

"Ring…"

Albedo appeared on the screen, his Galvan form striking and formidable.

His red eyes glowed with intensity, and he wore a red tunic adorned with black stripes.

His pale skin was devoid of tendrils or wrinkles, and his eyes were wide and alert.

Azmuth wasted no time, diving straight into the matter at hand.

He had already dispensed with the need for pleasantries, especially after having to edit out the sleeping Vados.

His patience was small at his young age.

Then compared to his old self.

There were no questions to be ask only answers to provide.

"I need you to complete your prototype of my Omnitrix!" he commanded.

Albedo's eyes widened in shock, his surprise palpable.

As he processed the gravity of Azmuth's revelation.

Due to thinking he kept it well hidden.

Although his curiosity was piqued not just by the mention of his secret project being exposed so casually.

But by the implications of why it was being discussed.

However, his intrigue quickly turned to skepticism, thinking it was a ploy.

Until his boss gave another bombshell sentence.

"As a gift to a friend!" Azmuth declared, his voice firm.

With a wave of his hand, the perspective of the screen shifted, revealing my face.

I looked back with keen interest.

"Hello, I'm Null, a Celestial Sapien!" I introduced myself, my voice resonating with an otherworldly tone.

Albedo's expression shifted dramatically.

While his eyes widened in astonishment, then narrowed in disbelief.

He erupted into laughter, a sound that filled the room with a mix of amusement and criticism.

"Ha! Ha! I knew you weren't clever enough to create a dimension!"

"You needed help!!"

Azmuth's fury ignited at Albedo's mocking response.

In that moment, he resembled a furious red rain frog, his features contorting with indignation.

If only he could have started squeaking, it would have perfectly matched the animal.

Azmuth was going to change the video call view to himself, till.

Albedo continued his speech.

"I always thought you a fraud!!"

"Always showing off while i get nun of the credit for anything, I help with." His head drooped in the view of the screen.

Azmuth expression froze from the words.

As he witness something unimaginable.

Small tears were rolling down his always so moody and gloomy assistant face.

But that's not what made his anger fade, No.

It was a smile one of acceptance.

Something he only seen when his assistant had made progress in his assignments.

Even if it was only a little.

It was at this moment Azmuth, Had realized how much his pride and ego gotten to him.

He felt saddened at the sight.

At how he been acting with those around him.

Only giving a few words here and there.

With little to nun encouragement.

Sure he was smart, but those who were able to slowly keep up with him should also be recognized.

If not by anyone, then he should have been the one to do so.

Slowly he was getting hit with reality checks.

That were leading him to a path his future self will reach.

One that had came with old age built on regrets.
