Chapter 23: Tour of the academy
After leaving Pyrrha and Ivory behind, the four of us sat in an expensive limo. As we looked outside, I could see how most of the people were looking at us.
Some were staring in shock to see the limo, all wondering who was riding it. I rolled down the window and leaned out, waving at the people.
The second they saw a faunus riding a limo, their shock grew even more. Some of them were even looking at me with envy, but I just smiled and waved.
"Aiko, stop leaning on the window, you'll fall." Sienna called out to me, once I went back in Sienna closed the window and sighed.
"Alright you three, listen up, and listen good." Me, Blake, and Ilia all sat across from her and paid attention.
"Atlas may look like a nice city, but don't be fooled." She said and began to drink one of the bottles that was insides
"Mantle is where we are staying, and I don't want anyone from Atlas to know who we are, got it?" The three of us nodded our heads and kept silent throughout the ride.
After arriving at the launch sight for the bullheads, we all exited the limo. And waiting for us was the midget who supposedly interrogated me.
"You must be the general's guests." She said with a strained smile, I could see a vein growing on her head.
"Yes, and I see to have prepared our flight." Sienna said in a calming manner, but her face didn't show a calm look.
Instead, all we saw was an enraged look, for a second I thought I saw an ursa was behind her.
Even Cordavin flinched at Sienna's face, but then quickly composed herself. With a cough, she stepped to the side and motioned for us to follow her.
"Your flight has been accommodated with the highest comfortable material, with drinks and food for the travel." She motioned to the bullhead that was in front of us.
"May you have safe travels." She said through clench teeth, the four of us were entering the bullhead, but before I made it through, I stopped and looked at her.
As the two of us looked at each other, I decided to do the same thing I did to the bandit tribe.
I raised my fingers and flipped her off, while also wearing the smuggest grin I could muster.
She was too shocked at what I was doing and stood still to process on what just happened.
But before she could say anything, the bullhead had already taken off and was already flying away.
I soon heard a scream a few miles back, but I shrugged it off and enjoyed the flight to Atlas. As soon as I closed my eyes, I found myself standing in the white void once again.
"Son, it's time." My mother said and looked at me with a smile, in her hands are her chakrams.
"Time for what?" She slipped her tails through each one, and slowly began to spin them, her tails swung side by side, increasing speed.
As soon as she flicked them away, they began to float behind her in a large circle. Each one began to heat up, slowly turning a bright orange.
Soon they all began to flow like water and began to form two large chakrams, on the edge, saw blades appeared.
"Each generation has their own technique, a special attack that is made. And this is mine, harmony of the twins." The two chakrams spun rapidly, creating two gusts of wind.
Her clothes fluttered from the force of the air, while I was being pushed back. I had to dig my fingers into the ground to not be blown away.
"This is what you will copy, each and every technique that was created from every head, you will learn. And soon you will create your own." I've spent the next seven days within the void and things went horrible.
I spent the first few days training myself to use one chakram, I could barely even spin it on my finger. Day two, I was fighting my grandpa in close combat, where I could learn to predict the next attack.
The first few hours were spent with me being knocked around and sent flying through the void. Sure, it was horrible, and the pain was too much, but I was forced to stay awake and keep practicing.
On day three, I spent the day once again with close combat, only this time I was slowly predicting on where my grandpa's fist was coming from.
But he soon changed his pattern and struck me with hid foot, and I was sent flying away into the air. He did complement me on how I was improving, but he criticized on how narrow minded I was thinking.
He told me that the entire body was a weapon itself, and I had to know 'every' attack. Day three and four were the same, but on the fourth day, he began to use his tails.
Each time he struck me with the tails, it felt like I was being hit by an iron wall. I had to resort to using my tail's as well in order to counter his attacks, seeing on what I was doing, he nodded his head in approval.
On the last three days, I spent my time trying to spin the chakram, but it would slip from my finger and land on the ground.
Only after the seventh day, I was able to start spinning it on my finger. It was hard to spin it, and it was wobbly when I tired.
"Good job, you can rest now." My mother said, as I closed my eyes from the intense training, I soon woke up and saw Sienna, Ilia, and Blake sleeping.
"Seems we're about to arrive." I muttered while looking outside, looking outside, I could see two cities.
One of them was on the ground, the buildings were made of stone and steal, and looked in poor condition.
While the city above looked clean and clear, the city had multiple buildings reaching for the sky, and many lights could be seen.
As we were about to arrive, I noticed that we were flying towards what I assumed Atlas. Sensing that the bullhead didn't change course, Sienna called out for a flight attendee.
"Yes?" She asked with a trained voice, since the four of us are Faunus, but since we are guests of the general, she can't do anything.
"Why are we going to Atlas? I thought we agreed to have us go to Mantle." Hearing Sienna ask that, the attendant hid her anger.
"Because dear guest, the general has ordered us to take you four to atlas, since Atlas has better security." Sienna wanted to complain, but seeing how Ilia and Blake are asleep, she kept quiet and sighed.
"Fine then, tell him we'll be there soon." The flight attendant forced a smile once again and quickly walked away.
I on the other hand grinned at the sudden change, since Atlas is the only kingdoms with military firepower, I could take the chance to 'borrow' some blue prints.
After a few more minutes, we soon arrived in front of a prestigious looking building. Multiple towers were seen behind the entrance, and the general was in front of us.
"Greetings, Blake Belladona, and Aiko Belladona." Hearing him say our full names made us look at him with scared looks.
As he saw us looking scared, he looked to the side and was embarrassed. He then coughed into his hand to compose himself and soon knelt down on one leg.
"Sorry about that, I started off a bit scary there. My name is James." I said and extended his hand.
Blake then looked at me with a scared look, but I nodded my head and held her hand. As always, Blake hid behind me when we met new people.
As the two of us made our way closer, Sienna and Ilia became tense. But the guards that James brought didn't do a thing, as the two of us stood in front of him, I grabbed his hand and shook it.
"Hello, I'm Aiko, it's nice to meet you." I said with a smile, seeing how kind I acted he smiled and began to guide us.
Both Sienna and Ilia relaxed and soon began the follow us, the guards were then dismissed and James began to give us a tour.
"Here in Atlas academy, we train huntsmen to be the best, to defend the kingdom and bring hope." I soon began to tone out his long speech and focused the classes that are going.
As I approached one of the doors, I could see that the students inside were mostly human. In fact, I only see two Faunus in the first classroom.
After looking through the next three or four classrooms, the results were the same. Mostly humans were inside, and their were either one or two Faunus.
After walking a few more minutes, we arrived at what looked like a large indoor field. Currently there where four people training.
"And here is our training simulator, where we train the students to face any situation." After he finished the four students then turned to us.
"The four you see down there are our top students, who will be assigned to a special unit, the ace squad." I then turned to the general and looked at him.
'Is this man an idiot for showing his best students?' I thought, but we soon left them alone.
"And here is where you will be sleeping for the rest of your stay, please go on in." He said, the four of us then entered the room, and began to explore it.
The room had four beds, and it was entirely bland. The walls were white, and there was only one desk.
'How bland.' The four of us thought, but we didn't say it out loud since we had a free space to stay.
"Since you are here, I will have body guards accompany you." James said, but Sienna got in front of him.
"Look, we don't need Atlas's help, me and my partner are enough to protect the two of them." James shook his head at her words and stared at the both of us.
"I understand that the two it you would can handle yourselves, but here we take our security seriously." I however heard my mother complain.
'If you call the guards relaxing and not taking anything seriously, then sure.' I had to force myself not to smile at her words.
After the discussion between the two, James soon left us alone, Sieena then sat on one of the beds and sighed.
Seeing her stressed, I decided to give her a hug. Since I have her one, she was caught off guard.
Her ears twitched while her face was turning red, but she was hesitant to return my hug. After I hugged her a few more seconds, she soon returned it.
"Sometimes I wonder if anything goes according to plan." I giggled at her words and looked at her.
"Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, we just have to adapt and move forward." Sienna then chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"Yeah, yeah, now get in the shower, you stink." As Ilia, Blake, and I rush to the shower, Sienna sighed and placed her head in her hands
POV 3RD
After a few seconds, she jumped forward and grabbed her weapon. She looked around the room, trying to find the enamy, but nothing was seen.
"Weird, I defiantly felt something." Her instincts were right, but since she couldn't see what was in front of her, she could do nothing.
The same cloaked figure loomed over her, but did nothing. In fact, in their skeletal hands was the same pocket watch.
The clock showed she had eight years left to live, but the numbers began to increase once again.
Ten, twenty, thirty, fourty, it soon stopped at ninty. The figure then began to fade, but spoke for the first time.
"Be greatful that the boy will save you in the future." It said with a hoarse voice, and a red string flowed from her chest to Aikos once again.
(A/N) Hey hey, sorry for the late update, somehow it got corrupted and delegated itself, and now I had to write it again.
Send in some lower stones to show support, if not, I'll draw a Beowulf Rick rolling yall.
Peace
