A Kitsune in remnant

Chapter 22: A promise is made and fate is changed

POV BLAKE

It's been a few days since we stayed here in Argus, and things are fun. Especially Pyrrha, she was fun to be with.

She would buy me and Aiko fish, teach me how to fight hand to hand, and even taught me how to cook.

I can still remember the smell when she first taught me, I was then brought out of my thoughts when I felt Pyrrha's foot hit my face.

I spun in the air for a few seconds, and soon bounced on the ground. I soon groaned in pain and felt someone's hands on me.

"You had to be distracted." Aiko said while healing me, I just groaned in annoyance at his statement.

"Sorry, but I was hungry." I exclaimed, and soon my stomach growled, reveling my hunger for some food to eat.

"It's fine, let's just finish today's training and head inside to finish the fish." He extended his hand, as I grabbed his hand, and he pulled me up.

"Aiko, Blake, I have something to announce, but first, take a shower." Sienna called out to us.

"Seems it's serious if Sienna has something to say to us." I nodded at Aiko's words, as the two of us entered we rushed to the bathroom

As the two of us changed in our clothes, we soon ran downstairs and saw the four of them waiting for us.

"Took you two long enough, let's enjoy some dinner." Ivory said to us with a kind smile on her face.

"Thanks for the meal." The two of us said and sat next to each other, as the six of us ate, I turned to Sienna.

"Sienna, what did you want to tell us?" Sienna sighed at my question and looked hesitant at first, but then placed her spoon and fork down.

"We have our things organized and are ready to leave, so we'll be heading out tomorrow." Hearing her announce this, me Pyrrha, and Aiko widened our eyes in shock.

"Already, are you sure you don't want to stay a bit longer?" Ivory asked, Sienna shook her head and smiled at her.

"Sorry, but I don't want us to be freeloaders, you've given us enough time to replenish our supplies." She said with a smile, but I could see the bags under her eyes.

'She must have stayed up late to work.' I thought while eating the food in front of me.

"Still, I feel guilty for not helping you, I could've given you a job." Ivory insisted, but Sienna just shook her head and patted her shoulder.

"It's fine, besides, you would have been targeted by the Atlas guards for giving us a place to stay." Ivory sighed at Sienna's words but nodded her head.

"True, but that goes to show how devious they are, targeting the Faunus for only being slightly different." She then sighed and began to take her plate to the kitchen.

"Still, if you are about to leave, at least spend some time with us." Hearing Ivory's offer, Sienna huffed but smiled at her words.

"Fine, I could use the rest before we leave." Aiko and Pyrrha smiled and began to cheer as well.

"But that doesn't mean we'll stop training." The three of us slumped down and sighed, knowing we'll have to train.

"For now, just enjoy today and tomorrow." The three of us then finished our dinners and soon rushed to our rooms, only this time, Pyrrha was sleeping with us.

We had to put Aiko on the floor since he was a boy, but I felt empty without him. I didn't do anything to stop it since Pyrrha was here, but I wanted to be in his arms.

"Goodnight Blake, goodnight Aiko." Pyrrha said with a smile on her face, after saying our good nights, the three of us turned in for the night.

After sleeping for a few minutes, I couldn't fall asleep. Sure I had Pyrrha hugging my, but it was different, so I made sure Pyrrha was asleep, and snuck out of her arms.

She frowned when she didn't feel me in her arms, but I soon placed a pillow. She wrapped her arms around it, and began to snuggle close to it.

I sighed at her reaction and soon snuck underneath Aiko's arms, before I even tried to lift his blanket, he reached out and brought me close to him.

I was surprised at first, but I didn't complain. In the end, I snuggled close to him and smiled, letting my arms wrap around him.

At the same time, I could feel his tails hugging us, creating another blanket. I sighed in satisfaction and slowly began to doze off, slowly letting my eyelids drop.

'I'll always stay by your side, big brother.' Where the lasts thoughts that I thought before I went to sleep.

TIME SKIP POV AIKO

After feeling the first rays of the sun, I silently grumbled and tried to block the light. But I soon felt movement in my arms, looking down, I could see both Pyrrha and Blake snuggled on my chest.

'I have many questions, yet nothing will be a satisfied answer.' As soon as I began to move, the two of them began to stir awake.

"Mhmmmm, is it morning already?" Blake asked me while yawning, I just nodded my head and stayed still.

"Blake, your being too loud." Pyrrha mumbled and hugged one of my tails, the three of us didn't move for a few seconds until the realization hit.

First it was Pyrrha, who instantly sat up and began to blush. She wanted to say something, but all she could do was stutter.

Next was Blake, the second she realized on what happened, she hugged me tight and glared at her.

"What are you doing with my brother?" Pyrrha kept stuttering, trying to explain herself. But she couldn't form any coherent sentences.

Before the two of them could argue, the door was opened, and Ivory came in. As she took a step inside, she saw the three of us on the floor.

"Oops, did I interrupt something?" She said with a smug grin, the two of them then blushed at her question, while I just stared at the ceiling.

'Huh, that fly is dancing.' On the celling, there was a fly dancing around. After a few more minutes the three of us soon made our way downstairs.

"So, I heard what happened up there, didn't expect you to be like that Aiko." Sienna said with a grin on her face.

I just blushed and looked to the side, ignoring her comment and ate my breakfast as quick as I can. Seeing my reaction from her question, she chuckled and patted my back.

"Alright, go have fun, today is the day we leave after all." Hearing her reminder was making me a bit sad, since we did have a good time spending with Pyrrha.

But since we already planned to go to Atlas, I decided to put a little show for all of us before we left.

I asked everyone to go outside and told them I had a surprise for them. As they all made their way outside in the backyard, Ivory looked at me with a kind smile.

"So, what are you going to show us?" I smiled at her question and soon ran to the center of the backyard.

"It's a thank you, for letting us stay in your home." I then began to summon my flames, the five of them all stared at me in awe.

FLASH BACK

"You wish to do what?" I stared at my mother with a pleading gaze and gave her puppy eyes.

"I want to learn how to perform." I asked her, she tilted her head to the side, but had a smile on her face.

"And why should I? You need to focus on gaining strength." I shook my head at her words and knelt down.

"If I have strength and become the strongest, it would be boring, I won't know how to smile, to laugh, to feel pain, and to love." I exclaimed.

"I still want to do many things, I still want to feel the joy when fighting with friends, I want to enjoy a fight!" The two of us remained silent.

"Hahahahaha, such an interesting brat." Shouted a new voice, looking to the side, I saw a man that was taller than my mother.

His body was covered in scars from his chest, arms, legs, and arms. Half of his face was covered in scars.

"You understand then, how boring it is when you reach the top." He said while grinning at me, his entire body was producing a powerful aura, making my hair stand on end.

"The names Ganji, Ganji Kurosaki. The eighth clan head." He said while pointing at himself.

"Father, do you always have to act so immature?" My mother asked with a tired voice.

"Sorry sweetie, you know how I am, I'd rather fight the Grimm than having to do paperwork." She sighed and smiled, but then returned her focus to me.

"Fine, I'll teach you on how to perform, since your grandfather has now decided to accept you." She said with a smile.

END OF FLASH BACK

My flames soon formed a small harp for me to play, and my fingers began to pluck the cords. Each note that I played sent a soothing song to them, and the people that walked by the house all heard it as well.

(A/N: I got nothing this time, go wild.)

As the sound of the strings resounded through the backyard, I felt myself be at peace, sure it was hard to learn, but I always wanted to play the harp.

Both Pyrrha and Blake stared at me in awe, seeing how I was able to play the harp with ease.

Ivory held a smiled on her face and she sighed in relaxsation from how well I played.

Sienna herself had wide eyes, she couldn't move her line of sight even if she wanted to. She kept staring at me, how I was smiling, how I swayed to keep the beat, and how I looked peaceful.

'How can he be so beautiful?' She thought, Ilia on the other hand held her head with her hands.

She sighed at how I played and was thinking to herself that I was playing for the Faunus for the world.

After playing a few more minutes, I finished playing the piece the five of them began to clap.

"Such a wonderful song Aiko, when did you have the time?" Ivory asked me, I smiled at her complement and giggled.

"That's a secret." I said, Blake, Sienna, and Ilia were disappointed, but they didn't bother trying to pressure me.

"Well, it dosent matter, our ride is here." I was confused for a second, but then a car horn sounded outside.

"There's our ride, let's go you three." Sienna then went inside to start gathering our clothes with Ilia.

Pyrrha was sad that we had to leave and looked like she was about to cry, I could see the tears forming.

"Hey, it's okay, do you have a scroll?" Pyrrha shook her head, but Ivory walked up next to us and gave a box to her.

"Actually sweetie, I wanted to give this on your birthday next year, but since you have new friends, I think now is the right time." Pyrrha opened the box, and inside was a brand new scroll.

"Mom, thank you." Pyrrha said and hugged her mother, Ivory giggled and returned the hug, rubbing her hand on her back.

"There there, now you have a way to talk to each other." Pyrrha blushed at her words but then handed me her new scroll.

"C-can you a-did your number, s-so I can c-call you?" Seeing her act like this, I couldn't help but smile.

"Sure." I said and began to put my number in her scroll.

POV 3RD

As the four Faunus prepared to leave, a clocked figure was floating near Pyrrha, in their skeletal hand was a small pocket watch that was counting down the time she had left to live.

The time showed she had seven years left to live, but the numbers began to spin at a rapid pace, increasing to twenty, thirty, fourty, fifty, until it stopped at ninety years.

The figure closed the watch and faded away, and a small red string floated from Pyrrhas chest to Aikos.

(A/N) Hey hey, sorry for the late update, just graduated from collage and now trying to find a job, so I don't know how my schedule will change.
