A Disciples Fate

“You got nothing to back up your cockiness Kuragami, it’s a shame.”

“Damn it! I hate losing!”

Kuragami gets up. He’s less bruised than he was before.

“We need to beat Raffles. Let’s go there right now Sasaki!”

“Yeah about that. There's one more enemy we need to worry about. Have you ever heard of a Shadow Disciple?”

“What?”

“My exact reaction. Sky and I were told that there's a Shadow Disciple that works for Raffles. They’re a new disciple group apparently. It still makes no sense to me.”

“You’re confusing me Sasaki. But it doesn’t matter, I’ll beat him.”

“I don’t think I can trust you to beat anyone in the state you’re in. Anyways we need to get Cherry to heal you. She's a Nature Disciple so I assume she will know what she's doing.”

Kuragami nods.

Sasaki and Kuragami make their way to Cherry and Homura. Sasaki notices the cold air coming out of Kuragami's body.

“By the way, did you beat the other guy?”

“I thought I did. But Sky said he wasn't done.”

“Forest Emerge.”

Scorpion gets wrapped by growing trees. But his tail is still free.

“Fire Blast!”

Homura releases a big fire blast at Scorpion. Scorpion cuts the trees with his tail. He dodges the fire blast and dashes in front of Homura. Instantaneously, Scorpion swings his tail and slaps it at him. But Homura reacts swiftly and burns the middle part of his tail.

“His tail will function slower now. This is our time to beat him Cherry.”

Cherry raises her aura. She points her branch towards Scorpion.

“Sharpened Branches!”

Several branches grow from the floor. They have sharp ends that are sharp enough to pierce through a gorilla. It's directed at Scorpion. Scorpion’s movements become slower.

The branches pierce through his body leaving several holes. He falls to floor bleeding out.

“I done it! Seems like you giants are just for show.”

Scorpion is hanging on to his life right now. But he still chuckles at what Cherry just said.

He struggles to stand up but still manages.

“You two impress me. Let’s see if your really up for it.”

“Huh?”

A certain type of energy enters the vicinity. It thickens the air. Cherry can barely stay in her feet.

Homura is affected by it too but not so much. It's making him sick to his stomach. It seems as if they are both unable to move from the pressure.

Cherry looks petrified and she doesn't know why.

“This feeling, I've felt it before.”

“So have I. But I-”

Homura faints. Cherry becomes uneasy that she has to fight Scorpion by herself while protecting Homura while he's unconscious.

“I'm gonna die. I can't believe it. After all I've done, everything I've been through, I die here. It's my first mission. But I have to find…”

Tears start dripping down from her eyes. Scorpion dashes and gives a aura filled punch to her head. It leaves her unconscious.

“I was wrong. Maybe it’s time to stop waiting. I should take action myself.”

He then walks over to Homura.

“What the hell?”

He hears Homura mumbling something. He also sees him twitching. He reaches for him and as soon as he is about to make contact, Homura jumps up high in the air and lets off a Fire Blast 3x the size of his first one. There's a more sharp look in Homura's eyes. His eyes are more vicious.

Scorpion smiles.

“Maybe there is hope. Maybe this team can really take down Raffles, and put an end to this circus.”

The fire blast forms a massive explosion leaving smoke everywhere.

“You see that Kuragami, that must be Homura.”

“Yeah. Let's go.”

Kuragami and Sasaki both see the explosion of smoke nearby. They both start running to the smoke.

Homura is lying down on the floor seeking for some rest. Most of his aura is drained. Cherry gains conscious again but her head is in pain.

"What happend?"

"I'm not sure. Scorpion, he’s gone."

The smoke clears. Nothing is there.

Kuragami and Sasaki finally reach them.

“You guys ok?”

Cherry and Homura nod.

“Did you defeat the other guy Kuragami?”

Kuragami and Sasaki both look at each other.

“Yeah, he did.”

Cherry and Homura both stand up. Cherry grabs her branch.

“How do you guys like the circus?”

They all laugh. Cherry is clearly mocking Genji.

“It’s now time. To finish our first mission. You guys nervous?”

“Nah, I’m relived.”

They all look at Kuragami confused.

“We’re about to get of bad for good. We should be looking forward to this.”

Cherry, Sasaki and Homura all giggle.

“I could get used to you Kura.”

They are all excited. They all run to the direction of the circus.

While running, Kuragami feels a strange aura lingering around them while they're running. So he decides to stop.

“Hey, you guys go on ahead. I'll stay here. There's someone watching us.”

“But Sky said we shouldn't go the circus without you.”

“That was only for you and Homura. You have Sasaki with you now. Just go on without me.”

“Scorpion is strong. Me and Cherry struggled against him.”

“It’s not Scorpion.”

“Then who is it?”

Sasaki thinks.

“Kuragami, you don’t think it’s?”

“Yeah. I think it is.”

Cherry and Homura look at each other confused.

“I can fight with you. Sky said he’s dangerous.”

“I’ll be fine. It’s time things change. Plus that’s more off your backs.

Kuragami smiles.

“Just trust me.”

“Okay Kura, we're trusting you.”

Sasaki, Cherry and Homura leave Kuragami.

“Yo Shadow! You can come out now

“Impressive, you were able to sense me while I was hiding my presence.”

A menacing looking figure appears in the shadows. At the same time, they slowly cover him.

“So it’s true. How is all this possible?”

The shadow figure raises their hand. All the shadows from around the area races into their palm. His purple shadow aura increases drastically, causing destruction to the area around them.

Kuragami gets ready.

“I won’t lose here.”

Four large shadows form into powerful dark aura. It releases from the shadow figures palm and shoot towards Kuragami.

Kuragami starts running around and as he does, they all start following him fast in different directions.

He runs around the trees around them. The shadows destroys any tree in the way.

For a moment, Kuragami looks back.

“Woah!”

He runs faster as the shadows are catching up to him.

“You’re wasting time. Your death will happen now, or later!”

The shadows speed up. Kuragami has been running in different angles, different directions. At one point, he stops.

He looks around. All the shadows are coming towards him at a circle around him.

“Finally.”

Kuragami raises his aura and dashes up in the air.

All the shadows hit each other, creating a large explosion.

“You stupid shadow disciple! You fell for it!”

Kuragami lands away from the explosion.

Suddenly, shadows start racing inside the explosion, clearing it. It becomes one singular shadow, bigger than before.

“Come on! Can I get a break?!”

“You sound like a rookie.”

The large shadow flies towards Kuragami. Kuragami raises his aura and puts his palm out.

“Blizzard Reach!”

A powerful blizzard awakens for the palm of his hand. The blizzard and the shadow connects, causing a powerful aura clash to commence.

The clash starts causing destruction across the whole forest, it ends with no victor.

“Your aura is probably low after all that chasing you did with your dumb shadows.”

Kuragami runs to the shadow figures. He runs fast, very fast. As he’s running, he jumps towards the shadow figures and tries kicking its face.

The shadow figure blocks it with his right arm, however, Kuragami appears behind him and kicks the shadow figure away.

The figure starts rolling on the floor, but it manages to stay on its feet. Though Kuragami gives it no time to rest.

He appears in front of the figure in an instant. He slaps the floor with aura raised in his right hand. He sticks the figure to the floor with ice.

“You can’t even move anymore.”

Kuragami raises aura in his right hand once more and gives the shadow figure a powerful punch to the face, causing it to drop.

“How’d you like that punk?!”

The shadow figure gets back up.

“That’s enough for now. Get ready for me very soon disciple.”

“I’ll be waiting. I’ll beat your ass again once you come.”

For a second, the shadow figure shows himself to Kuragami.

“What? You’re just a boy, like me.”

He vanishes into the shadows.

“But why? Why work with someone as terrible as Raffles?”

Kuragami then makes his way to the Circus.

Rhino and Sky are still fighting. It's been an equal fight for a while now.

“You were holding back a lot when the kids were here. I can tell.”

“What’s the point of a fight when it ends quick and easy.”

Sky smiles.

“You’re right. But sadly, I’m gonna have to quickly end this one right now. Sylph's Soul!”

Sky start transforming. Aura starts to form around him giving him vibrant green aura armour and some tattoos on his neck, body and arms. A glowing green sword made of aura also forms in his hands.

“Sylph Flash!”

Sky dashes at 5x the speed before to Rhino piercing a whole where his heart is. All it took was one strike to defeat Rhino.

The whole town cheers. Rhino has finally been killed.

“Thank you Sky!”

Yua hugs sky. Solomon walks off.

“Now I must go the circus. My teams is waiting for me there.”

“Okay. Please make it back in one piece. Raffles is a dangerous man.”

Sky smiles.

“But first. Solomon let's talk in private for a bit.”

“We're finally here. Raffles Circus.”

Sasaki, Cherry and Homura are face to face with the entrance of Raffles Circus. Theres many people, adults and kids in the circus.

“What the hell is going on.”

“What does it look like Homura. There’s normal people here, enjoying a circus.

Many people are in the circus enjoying themselves.

“You guys, look.”

Cherry points at a poster.

“‘Something Great will Occur in The Worlds Greatest Circus!’. What the hell is this?”

“It could be that Raffles is waiting for us. We might be the main event.”

“So then, what do we do?”

“We keep a low profile. Find out where the performers are being held and we free them.”

Both Cherry and Homura nod in unison. So they walk in blending in with the crowd.

Raffles Circus is a place where anyone can go for free for entertainment. It's built on a cliff where you can see the sea.

As Kuragami is running to the Circus he sees something flying in the air above him. It starts flying towards him and the closer it gets, the more visible it is.

“Sky?”

It's Sky in his Sylph Form.

Sky grabs Kuragami and starts flying ahead.

“Hey Sky, what are you doing?!”

“I'm taking you to the Circus. But first, I need to tell you something.”

They both talk about something while making their way to the Circus. They circus is now in sight.

“Hey Kuragami, I'm going to drop you in the middle of the circus and you just freeze everything. Causing chaos will make everyone see Raffles true colours.”

“Okay. But what about the civilians?”

“Leave them to me.”

“And the other three?”

Sky flies all the way up to the middle of the Circus and drops Kuragami.

“Sky!”

Kuragami screams as he suddenly drops.

Sasaki, Homura and Cherry all look up.

“Hey is that,”

“Kura?”

“Okay let me just relax.”

He concentrates his aura. As soon as he's about to land he sticks out his right hand so that when he lands, it'll be touching wherever he lands on.

“Gentle Ice.”

Kuragami lands and releases his aura covering the whole Circus with his ice, harming no one.

"I done it! Sky I done it!"

Homura and Cherry claps for him. Sky smiles.

“You three, clear the area. Make sure everyone leaves.”

Cherry, Sasaki and Homura all nod. They run off making sure everyone leaves.

“My Circus destroyed by mere Shorai!”

A voice filled with rage is being heard from the cliff. That same voice screams. Wind emerges from the cliff and blows everywhere.

Hundreds of soldiers float up from the cliff, including one significant clown.

“So thats Raffles. Get ready guys.”

“Raffles Tornado Trick.”

5 massive tornados appear surrounding the circus, leading everything to fly high in the sky.

All the tornados close in on the team and merges, creating a deadly tornado. The tornado makes the team fly high in the sky and gives them no control of how high they go.

It's forcing the trees to go come, the civilians are going up in the tornado as well.

“There’s nothing we can do!”

“Though there’s something I can!”

“Huh?”

From his hand, Sky releases a power that the kids have never seen before. By managing it well, it slowly negates the tornado, making sure everyone lands safely.

Sky flies to Raffles to see what's behind the cliff. He attempts a kick to the face but Raffles blocks. Raffles uses his wind to push him away but Sky is too fast.

“I knew it.”

Sky sees a train system similar to the bullet train.

“So this is how you send your soldiers to Hell Arena. So if I followed this railway, Hell Arena would be there.”

“What do you know about the Circus and Hell Arena?”

“The traitor of Furendori Town seemed to know a lot.”

“Impressive, you found out straight away that that useless old man works for me.”

The four Shorai are shocked.

“Yuma’s granddad works for Raffles?”

“And he told you we were coming so I made Kuragami destroy everything. The question is why?”

“Do you really want to know why? Really? Well, you have to beat me.”

Sky gets angry.

“The towns people are nice! And you just kidnap their people to grow them into soldiers who will die anyways! Their future is inevitable death!

Raffles laughs uncontrollably.

“Is it really bad though? Hell Arena is built for those blessed with flames. It gives a chance to become strong. For their flames to grow and burn everything! And I get paid just to assist Hell.”

Cherry shouts.

“What about their families, their friends?! You’re just evil! Since you assist that ‘Hell’ so much, we’ll make sure your circus burns in it!”

“Well little girl, you can try. But for now, enjoy your stay at Raffles Circus!”

Rafflss carries on laughing.
