This is a fanfiction based in the Parahuman Series universe by Wildbow, using new original characters in a different city. This first book is actually already complete on other sites, and book 2 is ongoing. The additional leads feature more primarily in book 2, and also shifts to Brockton Bay and involves interactions with canon characters.
