Uncertainty. That is what Adrik faced. Before that, fear. And yet further back, pain. Hope was something he didn't want to cling to as it never lead him anywhere before. At least, not in the old world.
This place was... new. Feelings he thought had escaped him radiated through his mind. Those feelings soon gave way to pain that coursed through his body like lightning ripping through his veins. Then... it all went dark.
