In response, the RDF led a coalition to liberate those under Vorcon control, waging a brutal, multi-front war to restore peace. The conflict ravaged star systems, uprooted entire civilizations, and affected billions of lives, its effects still felt years later.
After two decades of relentless warfare, a peace treaty was signed, halting the conflict, becoming a lasting peace agreement between the two powers. Ending the War.
Garen Rivers, once a celebrated RDF general, openly opposed the treaty. He believed the Vorcons would rebuild and strike again, viewing the treaty as nothing more than a temporary ceasefire, and an insult to those who sacrificed everything. His warnings were dismissed by the newly appointed Council of Seven, eager to leave the war behind. Garen was made an example of, his public opposition cost him everything: his reputation, his command, and the respect of his allies. Though many secretly agreed with him, fear of retribution kept them silent. But Garen’s peace is shattered. Forced to return to the Seven Worlds, he must face old enemies, forge new alliances, and confront the unresolved legacy of the war. As new threats emerge, Garen quickly realizes that the Vorcon Empire may be the least of his problems.
