Echo Chamber

Lee Linden woke up in an empty room, unable to recall who he was or how he came to be there. His only clue: his name, which may or may not have been given to him. Trapped in a facility god knows where, Lee is part of an organization tasked with the investigation of Echoes: residual energy released from the corpses of ancient, godlike beings that once slumbered beneath the Earth. The Echoes imbue people with random powers upon contact; these people are called Echo-bearers. As Lee navigates his life around the facility and learns more about his powers, he starts to think that his amnesia and his connection with the corpses of the gods could be the key to a greater conspiracy-one in which the government, corporations, and the powerful Echo-bearers are all fighting for control of what is left of the old gods.
