Zombie Apocalypse: Reborn With A Farming Space

After they cleared out the zombies outside, Qin Luzi checked his map and said, "Captain, there are some scattered zombies inside, but most of them are trapped inside the rooms."

Jin Xuyan nodded and said, "Clear out the scattered zombies and find a clean room to stay."

The members nodded and entered the building. This time, they used their airguns instead of their abilities.

The sound of skulls being broken echoed in the silent building. Since there was no electricity, they could only use the emergency stairs. Perhaps because many people had tried to escape using the stairs, the number of zombies in the emergency stairwell was greater than those in the lobby.

After everyone checked the rooms, Chen Qianfeng prepared water for everyone to take a bath while Yin Yusheng and Yu Fuyun went to prepare dinner in the kitchen.

As everyone was resting, Jiao Lizhi brought Jin Xuyan to her space after they locked the suite door. The moment they appeared inside the space, they saw Fu Guai squatting below an apple tree.

The moment she saw the scattered apple cores on the ground, Jiao Lizhi exclaimed, "Fu Guai, how many apples did you eat?!"

Hearing her voice, Fu Guai glanced at her for a moment before he continued eating the apples.

Jiao Lizhi turned to her fiancé and asked, "Brother Yan, didn't he not eat human food?"

Jin Xuyan's eyes flashed with surprise for a moment before he shook his head and replied, "I'm not sure either. Maybe he can eat some fruits."

Logically speaking, a mutant was similar to zombies as they would only eat mutant animals or absorb crystal cores.

Even though mutant plants also contained some energy, the amount was small. Mutants no longer had taste buds like humans. So, they couldn't taste anything and only focused on the energy contained in the things they consumed.

When she was done, she said, "Brother Yan, let's take a shower first, then we can try out the fruits."

Jin Xuyan had no objection to her plan and nodded. "Okay."

After the two of them entered the house, Fu Guai raised his head, and his silver-colored pupils flickered for a moment before returning to normal. Lowering his head, he continued eating the fruits like a machine.

After he said this, he ate the cherry and added, "It's more delicious too."

Jiao Lizhi looked at him for a while before she asked, "Brother Yan, do you feel anything?"

Jin Xuyan ate another cherry before he said, "This cherry contains more energy than ordinary mutant fruits. It's better not to take it out."

While the Phantom team was having a good time, Xun Che, Gu Shaoze, and a group of soldiers finally reached the base. They rushed back in one day while bringing several trucks of grains.

Seeing the base commander return with the supplies, everyone cheered.
