She even tried to buy food, but realized that there was none. No medicine, no equipment, no weapons, nor any daily necessities items.

However, she wasn't displeased. She had gained a lot after the upgrade. Now she at least had the capital to become one of the overlords in the apocalypse.

In a good mood, Ivy tortured the Ravencroft family, and after pitting them against each other and helping her balance reach 100KB, she calmly put them away and started to multiply rice.

She soon found a loophole in the duplication process. She can duplicate the same item as long as they weren't already duplicated or a duplicate version.

Meaning if she had picked two packets of 2 salts, she could multiply and get 100 salt packets. However, she couldn't multiply the 100 salt packets by 50 again.

At least that was what Ivy understood; she didn't know if this would be changed in the future. Once she was done, her KB balance had dropped to 5KB.

It wasn't because she had reached her goal… no! It was because she realized that even if she used up her entire KB savings, it wouldn't be enough!

There were 900 or so packets of rice, and 5000 or so packets of salt. To multiply them, she would need 5900 KB!

Earlier, she could only accumulate 1000KB after a lot of push and pull. But now…Ivy massaged her temple.

Just then, her eyes suddenly turned dazed, and she stood up. Getting up, she started to walk out and soon reached the wall, which prevented her from going to the forest area behind the camp.

Her body reacted instinctively as she climbed over the wall and eventually reached the other side.

The dazed look in Ivy's eyes vanished a few moments later, and she cursed her superpower before looking at the timer of 15 minutes.

The ground flashed for a few minutes before various rice packets appeared on the ground, making Ivy delighted.

With previous experience, she quickly picked the rice packets, and within just 15 minutes, she picked up more than 1000 packets.

Resting for a bit, Ivy thought of the next course of action and soon came up with a plan. Soon she returned to Silas's apartment and started absorbing the space crystals.

Picking up one of the space crystals, she closed her eyes, mentally trying to lure the energy from the crystal into her meridians.

Soon, a cool energy rushed into her body, and the space crystal slowly lost its luster and started to look dull before turning into fine powder.

One by one, Ivy absorbed the space crystals, and just as she finished, she realized that an entire afternoon had passed.

She quickly did a physical workout and saw visible changes in herself. Because of the decade of experience from her past life, Ivy possessed agility and knowledge of combat.

But because of the limitations of her current weak body, she used to get tired. However, now she had become much more energetic and flexible.

The next day, Ivy made her way to the Skyline residential area and reached Aunt June's house. Knocking on the door, she waited till the door was opened and smiled,

"Aunt, there was a bag outside your house. You shouldn't place such a bga filled with food supply out otherwise…"

Before Ivy could finish her words, Aunt June pulled her into a hug and sobbed lightly,

"Thank you, Ivy. Thank you so much! Previously, when you gave me the bag, I thought it was my husband who had ventured outside to get the food, but when he returned, he told me that he wasn't the one who had placed that bag."

Ivy suddenly realized that the first time she got 40KB from Aunt June was because she thought that Ivy had merely reminded her instead of stealing the food.

But later, when she came to know that Ivy must be the one who had given them the food, she was filled with gratitude and hence received another wave of KB.

Pulling away, Aunt June smiled and said, "You should come inside. I will make some dumplings for you."

Ivy shook her head, lifting the bag in her hand, "I am here to give you this."

Now that she was already exposed, Ivy knew that there was no need to hide it. It wasn't like she was giving away a huge amount of food and had to hide its origin.

The bag contained 12kg of rice, 4 packets of salt, some seasonings, cereal, canned vegetables, and 10 fish. Just enough for one month, and if they ate frugally, they wouldn't be worried about the food for 3 months straight.

It was heavy, but for Ivy, who had become a superhuman, it wasn't difficult.

Aunt June was stunned, her head shaking side to side, "No, Ivy, I can't take any more food from you. You have already given me enough! I don't even have enough amount of gold to pay you off."

Ivy smiled and pushed the bag inside the apartment. "Aunt, why are you behaving so distantly from me? During my childhood, you always secretly saved up food for me. At that time, not once had you asked for anything in return. Now that I am giving something, you should take it."

Aunt June, however, remained firm and even tried to push away the food, but suddenly she froze.

Ivy, who was smiling till now, suddenly looked at Aunt June with moist eyes. Her expression fell, and she was pouting cutely.

It was the same expression Ivy used to give when Aunt June used to force her to eat meat. To little Ivy, meat was expensive, hence she used to hardly touch the meat dishes.

But Aunt June sternly scolded her and even asked her not to save money for her. Yet Aunt June's heart used to melt at the sight of her pouting cutely.

Now seeing the adult Ivy with the same expression, Aunt June's heart was touched. Ivy was reminding Aunt June not to save her food.
