You’re Supposed To Be The Villain, But You Effortlessly Win Over The Female Leads?

Chapter 2:

Chapter 2:

Although Jiang Feng’s memories weren’t fully organized, it didn’t stop him from acting.

The girl standing before him, Xu Qingya, was the heroine who had broken up with the original Jiang Feng and eventually fallen in love with He Minglang.

In the original Jiang Feng’s memories, he had been deeply in love with Xu Qingya. After their breakup, he couldn’t let go and pestered her for a long time. This only caused her to hate him more, exhausting any remaining feelings she had for him. Eventually, when she appeared on the TV show, she even calculated all the money she had ever spent on him.

As a result, the internet blacklisted Jiang Feng, calling him a leech who relied on women.

But who was the real Jiang Feng?

He was no ordinary person. He was a top-level master of the infinite worlds, having traveled through countless dimensions and faced every type of challenge and person. This task was nothing to him.

Seeing Jiang Feng silent, Xu Qingya grew impatient.

‘Why isn’t he saying anything? Doesn’t he understand I want to break up?’ She thought.

Just as she furrowed her eyebrows, ready to scold him, Jiang Feng spoke.

“Alright, if that’s what you want, let’s break up,” he said calmly.

He reached into his bag and pulled out a ring. “Here, this is the ring you bought for me. I’m returning it to you. As for the gifts you gave me, I’ll write up an IOU and pay you back tomorrow for anything I’ve used. Let’s calculate everything.”

Jiang Feng stood on the school grounds, his dark eyes steady and cold, while his chestnut hair glowed under the sunlight, casting a warm, golden light.

‘What? So happy to break up?’ Xu Qingya thought.

Hearing his calm response, Xu Qingya’s irritation eased, and she breathed a sigh of relief. Some of the disgust she felt for him began to fade.

“There’s no need for the money,” she said, her tone softer.

“No,” Jiang Feng replied firmly. “We’ll calculate it all. I don’t want you accusing me later of taking advantage of you. I’m a man, and I don’t live off a woman’s money.”

His voice was resolute, leaving no room for argument.

Xu Qingya was taken aback. The distaste she had for him faded further.

Though Jiang Feng had been clingy before, hearing him offer to repay everything softened her a bit.

“Alright, I’ll send you the list.” she said.

“Okay.” He replied before turning and walking away without hesitation.

When Jiang Feng returned home and opened the door, he was greeted by the sound of his parents arguing.

“Jiang Jiandang, are you out of your mind?” his mother, Song Lin, shouted. “I didn’t mind when you adopted He Minglang, but for years, you’ve spent all your salary on those orphanage kids! You barely bring anything home. Now, you’ve adopted He Minglang without even telling us, and you want to sell our house to pay for his surgery? Where will we live once the house is sold?”

Her voice was sharp, filled with anger. “If you sell the house, we’re getting a divorce! I’ll take Xiao Feng and leave. You can live with your adopted children!”

A middle-aged woman, apron-clad, stood in front of Jiang Feng, protecting him like a mother hen.

Jiang Feng glanced around the shabby house, quickly assessing their financial situation. They were struggling.

The house was small and old, about 70 square meters, with dim lighting. A pile of takeout containers cluttered the table, and the air smelled faintly of mold.

This was the moment in time when his parents’ marriage was falling apart.

It seemed that Jiang Jiandang had adopted He Minglang and was about to sell the house to fund his surgery. Soon, he would even pressure Jiang Feng to donate bone marrow.

Song Lin’s eyes were filled with disappointment as she glared at Jiang Jiandang.

“Jiang Jiandang, do you care more about strangers than your own family? Do you know how long it’s been since Xiao Feng had new clothes? Last time it was his birthday, I saved up to buy him a cake, and you took it to the orphanage instead! You’re not fit to be a father. I want a divorce!”

Jiang Jiandang frowned deeply, sighing. “Xiao Lin, what’s more important, the house or a human life? We’re able-bodied and can make money again. But you know how talented Minglang is—he’s a top student! If he dies, it’s all wasted potential!”

He looked at her as if she were being unreasonable. “How can you be so materialistic? Is money really that important? Minglang is practically like my own son. He’s bound for Tsinghua University, and as a teacher, I can’t just stand by and let a child like him die.”

Song Lin laughed bitterly. “Materialistic? Fine, you’re the kindest man in the world. But how many sick people out there are you going to help? Look at your own son—he’s so thin! You’re even planning to sell the only house we have! Don’t you care about your family at all?”

The room grew tense as the argument escalated.

Helping others was one thing, but it had to be within reason. Sacrificing your entire family’s wellbeing to help strangers? That was absurd.

Meanwhile, Jiang Feng kept his head down, quietly scrolling through his phone without saying a word.

Jiang Jiandang took a drag from his cigarette, gazing at Song Lin with disappointment. “Xiao Lin, I never realized how selfish you were. We’re supposed to contribute to society, and as long as we have enough food and clothes, that’s enough. We don’t take anything with us when we die. Why not rent a place if we have to?”

Song Lin was furious. “Selfish? Do you even have a conscience? I sell vegetables to feed us, and we can’t even afford to eat meat once a month! You’re willing to sell everything for outsiders! Fine, I’m done with you. I want a divorce, and I’m taking my son!”

“That’s not happening! Xiao Feng won’t leave with you!”

“If he stays with you, he’ll starve!”

Song Lin turned to Jiang Feng, asking, “Son, I’m divorcing your father. Who do you want to live with?”

Both their eyes were fixed on Jiang Feng.

At that moment, Jiang Feng looked up from his phone.

“Mom, why would you get a divorce? Dad’s right. We can’t take anything with us when we die. Human life is what matters most.”

Song Lin stood there, stunned.
